Job summary

Working at 37.5 hours a week
Alternating shifts; days 08:00 to 16:00 and evenings 13:00 to 21:00 and every 4th weekend. (bank holidays by rota)
The Department processes flexible endoscopes, surgical instruments and supplies sterile and disinfected equipment to the wards, departments and theatres within the hospital.
Main duties of the job
Duties will involve the decontamination and sterilizing of surgical instruments including flexible endoscopes, operation of decontamination equipment and distribution of sterile items throughout the hospital.
Experience is desirable but not essential as an in-house training programme is in place.
Please note there is a strict uniform policy in place due to infection control.
Post holder will be required to participate in the departments on-call rota

JOB SUMMARY

To check ward stock and deliver sterile packs to the wards and departments of the hospital.
To process equipment through the departments decontamination area via washer-disinfector machines and endoscope reprocessors, including manual washing as required
To check surgical instruments and other items prior to packing
To pack items into specified packs.
To collate orders of sterile packs for outside users.
To collect used items from patient areas.
To check stock in distribution areas
To operate washer/disinfectors, endoscope reprocessors, drying cabinets,heat sealing machines, sterilizers and other mechanical equipment
To keep work areas clean and tidy at all times participating in departmentcleaning schedule
To adhere to the departments policies and procedures, including qualitymanagement systems at all times
Any other reasonable duty as requested by the Manager or Supervisor.
N.B. This job may involve the manual handling of heavy loads, for which training will be given. If there is any reason why you should not do this, it is your responsibility to inform your Manager immediately.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join us in this new, advanced clinical role. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in providing equitable care for Motor Neurone Disease across the Coventry and Warwickshire region.
This post has been made possible by the MND Association for the next four years, to establish this service and work with patients, carers & other services to enhance MND care and support.
You'll be working collaboratively with the Care Coordinator at Mary Ann Evans Hospice, where there is already an MND service, as well as other regional partners, multidisciplinary teams, neurology, respiratory, speech therapy, & palliative care services.
We would love to hear from you if you have:

Job summary
The Sterile Services Department at the Luton & Dunstable NHS Trust requires a Technician to join our busy team.
Working at 37.5 hours a week, 13:00 to 21:00 and every 4th weekend. (bank holidays by rota)
The Department processes flexible endoscopes, surgical instruments and supplies sterile and disinfected equipment to the wards, departments and theatres within the hospital.
Main duties of the job
Duties will involve the decontamination and sterilizing of surgical instruments including flexible endoscopes, operation of decontamination equipment and distribution of sterile items throughout the hospital.
Experience is desirable but not essential as an in-house training programme is in place.
Please note there is a strict uniform policy in place due to infection control.
HOURS: 8am to 4pm alternating with 1pm - 9pm Monday to Friday
Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4pm or 11am to 7pm (depending on rota) every 4th weekend
Bank holidays worked on a rota system

Job summary
Full-time Consultant Neurologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust with a special interest in acute neurology and headache disordersin both inpatient and outpatient settings, the candidate will be expected to provide sub-specialty expertise to complement the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive Neurology service by the department. As of August 2026, neurology services in NUH is expected to expand bed base and move from a shared ward to a separate full warded bed base. This means increase consultant responsibility during oncalls. This will take place alongside restructuring our acute neurology provision from the current model.
NUH recognises the ongoing need for a General Internal Medicine (GIM) ward as a core component of acute medical service provision. To support this requirement and ensure sustainable ward staffing, all newly appointed consultants will have 0.5 WTE of their job plan allocated to GIM ward activity.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to do a mix of general neurology clinic and subspecialty clinics. Booking criteria for general neurology clinics are per the ABN guidance with 30 minutes allocated for a new patient and 15 minutes for each follow up patient. It is expected 5 patients are booked into each general neurology clinic and the rest of the clinic can be follow up slots. Each Clinic session is usually 4 hours. The number of clinics expected to be performed by the successful candidate is included in the job plan attached.
The post-holder will be responsible for the care of patients in his or her charge. The successful applicant will also be expected to contribute to the delivery of teaching and training to students at Nottingham University Medical School, as well as to contribute to the teaching, training and supervision of Specialist Trainees in Neurology, who are in the East Midlands Deanery training programme
About us
Clinical Neurology forms part of the Nottingham Regional Neuroscience Unit and serves the population of Nottingham. It also provides an outreach neurological service to Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield. We continue to engage with other peripheral hospitals and support their neurology services as needed
The delivery of Inpatient Care is on a "Consultant of the Week" (COTW) system, and the post-holder will contribute to what is currently a 1 in 15 rota. The neurology ward is a shared area with neurosurgery, and on average we have around 30 neurology inpatients on the neurology or outlying wards during the oncall week. In addition the CotW supervises the oncall take consisting of inpatients referred for neurology advice by other specialities.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to appoint a locum post to expand the provision of gastroenterology services in Nottingham. The appointees will join a team of over 30 NHS and academic gastroenterologists and hepatologists working in the department at present and will have the opportunity to establish their own subspecialist interest. A small bowel, functional, intestinal failure or IBD interest would be particularly welcome but is not essential, and a wide range of luminal gastroenterology interests could be accommodated.
Main duties of the job
The appointees will provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services both in clinics and endoscopically according to their interests to patients across the QMC and Nottingham City Hospital sites. They will contribute to the acute gastroenterology on call service (currently 1:18), week day daytime cover at City Hospital (3 weeks per annum) and will contribute to inpatient care of luminal gastroenterology patients at QMC for 12 weeks a year in 2 week blocks. At least 2 PAs will be dedicated to supporting professional activities in the initial job plan and job plans are open to discussion and amendment to suit the needs of consultants and the department.
About us
The Gastroenterology, Nutrition and Hepatology inpatient beds are located at the QMC campus. Emergency inpatient endoscopies, ERCP, EUS, EMR & RFA are provided from the endoscopy suite at QMC. Out-patient clinics and elective endoscopy are delivered from the Nottingham Treatment Centre on the QMC site.
Although we do not have any in-patient Gastroenterology/Hepatology facilities on the City Hospital Campus, we provide senior GI, Nutrition & Hepatology consultations for other specialty in-patients, and out-patient Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endoscopy and Nutrition services. The Endoscopy unit at NCH provides elective and emergency diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy facilities. It is a designated bowel cancer screening centre.
Dedicated Day Case Gastroenterology services, non-malignant radiology and histopathology MDTs, and administrative support are available on both campuses.

Main duties of the job

Print & scan multiple referrals from E-Referral and arrange clinical grading.

Engage with GP practices and advise on clinical service selections

What are we looking for?
The role of Systems Administrator supports the Operational Manager in maintaining the patient administration functions, managing activity information and producing reports when required by the Business Service Authority (BSA).
The post holder will collate data for performance monitoring meetings and for the CDS clinical governance programme.
The post holder will ensure patient charges are collected and processed according to CDS finance procedures and liaise with, respond to and take action as required by IT managers.
Applicants will have experience of providing administrative support to an operational team and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. You will be able to use appropriate software to manipulate data, produce documents, reports and spreadsheets.
There will be a requirement to undertake other administrative duties including diary management and taking accurate minutes at operational meetings and distributing accordingly.

Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic motivated individual to work primarily within The Floyd Unit on the Birch Hill Hospital Site at Wardle for our patient catering team. The position will involve the regeneration of frozen meals and preparation of simple foods such as paninis, sandwiches and salads.
This involves working directly with patients some of whom are compromised, on a one-to-one basis and being fully conversant with the nutritional state of all patients. You will advise patients on the various nutritional/dietary options available dependent upon the patient's needs. Full training will be provided.
You will ensure that patients receive their food/drinks in an environment that has been adequately prepared for mealtimes.
Please note that this role will include working on Bank Holidays, evenings and weekends. The shifts are primarily 10am till 1pm and 3pm till 6pm on a three-week rota although some flexibility will be required. On occasions you may be asked to support the team at Rochdale Infirmary as part of your scheduled hours.

Main duties of the job
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in line with Catering Food Standards Policy and legislation.
- Clean premises and equipment per departmental hygiene policy and HACCP regulations, ensuring a safe and tidy workplace under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Operate and clean automatic dishwashers.
- Prepare, plate, and distribute patient meals, accurately probe and record food temperatures per HACCP procedures.
- Collect patients' daily food requirements and restock the patient kitchen, ensuring correct storage, rotation, and stock levels.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
- Complete provisions orders accurately, in a timely manner and ensure they are emailed across to the correct people for fulfilment.
- Work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet service standards.
- Provide cover during absences and work scheduled shifts.
- Maintain good working relationships across departments and wards.
- Be flexible to work in any section or location as required
- Adapt to new regulations and uphold all hygiene and safety standards consistently.
