Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work across our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Unit. This will be 12 hour day shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
The UTC and our SDEC are some of the many ways the NHS is working to provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time for patients. It aims to benefit both patients and the healthcare system by reducing waiting times and hospital admissions, where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
- To assist in the delivery of clinical care, planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses
- To carry out care / other duties under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, Practitioner or medic.
- Support care on a day-to-day basis for all patients in the clinical area in a manner sensitive to the individual clients needs and wishes, acknowledging their rights and beliefs at all times
- Contribute to resource management within the clinical area.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with clinical teams, contractors and colleagues to maintain high service standards, resolve operational issues and help create environments that support outstanding patient care. You will also contribute to service improvement, quality assurance and compliance activities, helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Main duties of the job
As a Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and monitoring of facilities and hotel services across designated healthcare sites, ensuring environments remain safe, clean, compliant and patient focused. The role oversees a range of services including domestic cleaning, portering, waste management, linen services, security, grounds maintenance and catering liaison activities. You will act as the first point of contact for operational facilities issues, coordinating responses to incidents, resolving service concerns and working closely with clinical teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure service needs are met. The role includes carrying out audits, inspections and quality checks, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting infection prevention and control requirements. The post holder will provide day-to-day supervision and support to facilities staff, assist with resource deployment and rotas, and promote compliance with organisational policies and procedures. You will also support health and safety, risk management and regulatory compliance activities, maintain accurate records and performance data, and contribute to service improvements, efficiency initiatives and business continuity arrangements. We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team within medicine. You should have a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HCPC and experience of working in the NHS in the UK. Main duties of the job
The post holder will have no budget or managerial responsibilities. They will be expected to progress to supervise and appraise less experienced therapists, support workers and undergraduates, with the support of the team leader.
There will also be progression to taking on increasing responsibility for the day to day management of the clinical area, in the absence of more senior staff.
The post holder is supervised by a named therapist, although they may not be present at all times.
Clinical and professional supervision is in the form of regular clinical reasoning sessions, observed practice, peer review and formal training. Access to advice and support from specialist therapists isavailable as required

The Emergency department sees 58,000 new patients each year and provide a demanding and challenging environment in which to work.
Duties for this post will include clinical duties such as assessing, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care and supporting colleagues in providing care provision. Band 5 Nurses will be given the opportunity to work towards their RCN level one and two emergency nursing competences.
Working with and leading the multi-disciplinary team, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to motivate and manage, adapting to rapidly changing situations.

Come and join a forward thinking Pre-Operative Assessment Unit, as the post holder you will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide the highest standard of care for patients. Main duties of the job
Preoperatively assess a wide spectrum of adult patients prior to Orthopaedic surgery.

The HIV Service is seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to people living with HIV across outpatient, community and outreach settings.

Job summary
We are pleased to offer two trainee opportunities for motivated and suitably qualified healthcare professionals to undertake formal Ultrasound training across Radiology and Women & Children's services at New Cross and Cannock Hospitals. Following the success of our training programme, trainees will complete the Obstetrics module and the Fundamentals of Ultrasound (Physics) module in their first year. Academic study will be undertaken through Salford University, with the programme commencing in January 2027.
Subject to funding, there may be further opportunity to complete the General Abdominal module.
Applicants must meet Salford University's entry requirements, including holding a relevant first- or second-class honours degree, or providing evidence of suitability for postgraduate study if applying with non-standard qualifications. Candidates whose first language is not English must meet the required IELTS standard.
Progression to a Band 7 Sonographer role is dependent on successful completion of training and professional qualification. Sponsorship for this post is conditional under the RWHT training policy and may require repayment under certain circumstances.
Main duties of the job
Once qualified, the post holder will be highly committed, enthusiastic and innovative with excellent clinical and communication skills and willing to join our expanding team of ultrasound professionals.
The post holder will work within the ultrasound department, to provide a high-quality ultrasound service, comprising of unsupervised scanning sessions across all ultrasound units within the trust - this will include cross site and cross specialty working.
To work as an independent practitioner, performing scans to a high diagnostic standard, prioritising workload, formulating a comprehensive, accurate report, and communicating the results via the agreed method to clinicians/patients.
To be accountable for your own professional actions, maintaining high standards of knowledge relevant to your specialty. To regularly undertake CPD and audit remaining up to date with current practices in line with professional registration standards.
To train, supervise and assess Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Apprentices and Clinicians, in the specialist field of Ultrasound.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our team of 44 Consultants, as a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
Main duties of the job
This new post has arisen through the expansion of the TLHC programme and increasing CTCA and CMR workload. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in TLHC reporting, thoracic reporting, CT guided biopsies and cardiac CTCA. The applicant will be expected to provide acute general and sub speciality imaging. The ability to report CMR is desirable but not essential. We are a dynamic and innovative department. Portsmouth is host to the Portsmouth training scheme, providing training to 20 Specialist Registrars.

Job summary
Following an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in specialist medicine to join our integrated therapy team at Charing Cross Hospital.
The post holder will predominately be based on one of our 8th floor wards where they will help lead the team seeing a range of patients requiring therapy intervention prior to returning home or transfer to community rehab units. There will be a range of ages, conditions, co-morbidities and complex social situations to manage and the post holder will form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, helping plan timely and safe discharges from the wards.
If you want to develop more confidence in your leadership, prioritisation, time management, delegation and problem solving skills, then this is an ideal opportunity for you. In addition, you will have supervisory responsibility for a rotational Band 5 Physio and will work closely with a Therapy Support Worker. Supervisory support and advice is always available.
We actively encourage members of the team to provide fieldwork education for students on a regular basis. Therefore, if you are new to student education we can provide you with an introduction to student supervision or if you are more experienced/would like to take students yourself, we can support you with that.
We need a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiasm and the ability to learn and develop new skills.
Main duties of the job
- The caseload will include adult patients presenting with a varied range of acute and chronic medical illnesses, falls, cognitive limitations, neurological impairments and complex psycho social issues.
- When providing physiotherapy within this Trust, the post holder will be expected to be professional, efficient, effective, with a commitment to evidence based practice and continuous personal and professional development
- The job holder is required to work at weekends as part of their contracted hours of work (specific rota details are held locally within departments).They will do so once they have completed the relevant induction and achieved the required competencies.

Stroke at CUH is a highly regarded service. It is the regional thrombectomy centre for the East of England and currently offers a 24/7 service alternating with an extended day service. This post is partly to support the move to a full 24/7 service. Main duties of the job

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in General Medicine, Neurology, Geriatric or Acute Medicine plus a Stroke CCT (stroke fellowship year) or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of our highly skilled team and be actively involved in producing high quality, diagnostic mammography examinations for the NHS Breast Screening Programme and our Symptomatic Breast Service.
You will contribute to our family history, breast cancer follow-up and screening assessment clinics. You will perform additional imaging including, magnification views and digital breast tomosynthesis, also assisting our Advanced Practitioners and Radiologists with stereotactic interventional breast procedures.
Rotation between our 3 static screening/symptomatic sites to include The Breast Care Centre at Halton Hospital, St Helen's Hospital (Burney Breast Unit) and Bath Street Health and wellbeing Centre. We also have a state of the art mobile breast screening unit which visits 5 sites within the 4 boroughs that our screening service covers.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our Imaging team at West Middlesex University Hospital as a Junior Service Manager. The Junior Service Manager will assist the Deputy General Manager and General Manager in the delivery of objectives across the Directorate as well as directly managing mutually agreed projects and service improvement initiatives.
The Junior Service Manager will be responsible for staff management, project managing/coordinating a number of identified innovation projects and service improvement initiatives within Imaging.

Main duties of the job
This position will be accountable for the Imaging service at West Middlesex University Hospital (WMUH), including operational support on the delivery of the new diagnostic centre (DTEC) project.
The Junior Service Manager will have overall responsibility for diagnostics performance management (DM01, cancer -2WW) at WMUH site, providing support when required to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site.
The role will require effective collaboration with corporate admin teams, medics, nurses and other interdependent departments. Job summary
A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (30 hours) Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic stroke therapy team for a fixed term until 26th April 2027. You will be joining a supportive integrated stroke therapy team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Support Workers. We are looking for a candidate with proven specialist skills in stroke, who will provide therapy across the hyper-acute and acute stroke units.
The successful candidate will be passionate about stroke, motivated to develop their own skills and that of the service, and provide Occupational Therapy that is high quality and evidence-based. They will be keen to develop and support colleagues alongside the demands of working in a busy acute hospital.
Main duties of the job
- The post holder assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the clinical area, in the absence of the team leader.
- The post holder is supervised by a named therapist, who may not be present at all times. Clinical and professional supervision is in the form of regular clinical reasoning sessions, observed practice, peer review and formal training.
- The post holder will link with the Band 7 clinical lead therapist to support the use of resources within budget. The level of managerial responsibility involves the supervision and appraisal of junior therapists, support workers and undergraduates, with the support of the Band 7.
