Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board wishes to appoint a Full time Substantive Consultant Surgeon with expertise in Lower GI (Colorectal) Surgery to join a busy Department of Surgery based at Ysbyty Gwynedd and Llandudno General Hospital.
We are looking forward to recruiting a consultant at Ysbyty Gwynedd & Llandudno General Hospital. For candidates with additional skills, there are opportunities available to develop skills in Robotic Assisted (Versius) Colorectal Resections.
Although the initial job plan has been designed for a full time ten sessions job, an alternative time-table could be considered for a successful candidate who would wish to work less than full time.
The successful appointee will be expected to provide a high-quality service in conjunction with the existing General Surgeons and hard working, highly motivated dedicated team of medical and nursing staff.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties and Responsibilities
The duties outlined below are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with the needs of the service. The post holder will be expected to undertake the following duties equitable to their consultant colleagues:
o Provide a service of the highest quality. o Work flexibly with colleagues to achieve the hospital agreed planned activity for in-patient and outpatient services.o Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings (MDT)o Ensure appropriate standards are maintained and developed through clinical audit, evidence-based research and appraisal.o Be familiar with the College curricula for resident doctor training and contribute to their training requirements, including tutorials, on-the-job teaching, mentoring, appraisal and assessment.o Agree and annually review a job plan with the General Manager and Clinical Director/ Lead Clinician and participate in annual appraisal.o Undertake all necessary administrative duties associated with the care of their patients.

To provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill and high-dependency children and young people within the Paediatric HDU/Level 2 Critical Care environment.
The post holder will work as an experienced clinical practitioner and provide effective leadership and supervision to the nursing team, ensuring safe, effective and child- and family-centred care. Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to work part time alongside our current experienced team to provide support to our GP's, healthcare team and patients.
The position is part time for up to 28 hours per week , however, the candidate should also be flexible and available to cover extra hours as required. Hourly rate dependent on experience, other benefits include access to the NHS pension scheme.
This is a very busy and demanding role that includes a variety of administration duties and responsibilities within the GP practice. Good communication skills and teamwork are key. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide a professional, friendly, and efficient reception and administrative service, acting as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals both in person, by telephone, and through digital services. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, booking appointments, handling enquiries, processing test result requests, arranging home visits, and directing patients to the appropriate healthcare service.

Job summary
We have a new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Respiratory, Surgery & Critical Care Therapy Team at Barnet Hospital - part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The post is fixed term, (up to September 2027), full time (37.5 hours per week), but flexible working may be considered.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic band 5 or 6 Occupational Therapist with experience of working in the acute setting with patients with complex needs. Full induction; access to training; joint working and ongoing support will be provided from the friendly and dedicated therapists within the team and wider department. This includes team lead and clinical specialist OTs and the inpatient therapy lead who is also an OT.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting and challenging post, providing Occupational Therapy intervention for patients in both ward and intensive care areas, with respiratory, cardiac, medical, surgical and critical care conditions. This includes ventilated patients and those with tracheostomy or laryngectomy.
You will have the opportunity to take on team leadership responsibilities, including supervising band 5 therapists, support workers and OT students. Excellent communication skills; the ability to work well in a team; an interest in the training and supervision of staff, and a positive and flexible approach is essential.
You will be joining an established Therapy team of Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist. You will be encouraged to take an active role in current projects, including service development, training and audit.
You will be working in a rewarding and challenging clinical environment. The therapies department at Barnet Hospital is committed to ensuring staff feel supported with career progression through supervision; appraisal; in-house / external training and leadership development. The department operates a 7 day service, and you will be expected to work one weekend in four on a rota basis.

Community Dental Services CIC (CDS) have a vacancy for a dynamic GDC registered Oral Health Improvement professional to join our team, to co-ordinate activities provided as part of the oral health improvement strategy being delivered across Lincolnshire.
The post holder will plan and deliver a high standard of oral health improvement programmes both universally and to targeted higher risk groups across Lincolnshire, in line with Delivering Better Oral Health (PHE 2021).
The post holder will have a good knowledge of the theory and practice of oral health improvement. Teaching, training and/or community development experience is required and "train the trainer" skills are essential. A dental background is essential along with a current GDC registration.

We are currently looking for Phlebotomists to work at our site in Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. We are looking to increase access our services for patients, and are therefore looking to introduce both In-patient and Out-Patient services across 7 days. Applicants will be expected to work shift patterns to support these services going forwards, including early, late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
Please note there are various vacancies available for 37.5 Hours and 30 hour contracts.We are looking for some keen and flexible individuals to be trained to a high level to become Phlebotomists within our team. Part time positions are available - full flexibility is amustand successful applicants will be expected to work a variety of shifts.

Job summary
We are seeking a HCPC registered psychologist to work in the Secure Outreach and Transition Team (SOTT).
This post is advertised as an 8a post, although we are willing to consider applications from Psychologists who do not yet meet the essential criteria for a Band 8a, but who would be interested in undertaking the post at a Band 7 initially, with a supportive plan for development and progression in due course.
We welcome applications from staff who are currently coming to the end of their training in Clinical or counselling psychology that on successful completion will achieve the required qualification and registration with HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist. Trainee counselling psychologists are eligible to apply for and to be shortlisted for interview and to be offered qualified posts when they are in their 3rd year of the doctoral training and have the following confirmed as completed by the university. Main duties of the job
This post is based at Roseberry Park Hospital and working across Teesside, Redcar & Cleveland and Durham & Darlington. The SOTT is a regional service which provides care and treatment for adults (both male and female) who have learning disabilities and/or autism and a history of offending and/or pose a risk to others. Our service users have come into contact with the criminal justice system and have been within the secure in-patient pathway, and we provide personalised care for these patients upon discharge. The team also provides scaffolding and risk advice to other mental health services.
We are seeking a creative and flexible psychological professional to help improve access to psychological therapies and deliver interventions. Patients will be working towards discharge from secure services and may also be in the community, working alongside community mental health teams.
You will be expected to have the necessary skills, training and experience to undertake direct clinical work, offer clinical supervision to others, including a higher assistant psychologist, and consultation to the wider MDT. Candidates should have excellent interdisciplinary working skills and interested in contributing to the development of an innovative service.
We will support training in a governed psychological therapy.
The Psychology team meet for fortnightly huddles and have regular away days to ensure connectedness, standard working, and effectiveness.

Job summary
Based in one of the worlds busiest and most diverse cities, the London Ambulance Service offers a unique and dynamic career supporting people across all walks of London life.
As a qualified AAP (Assistant Ambulance Practitioner) or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), you will provide highquality emergency and urgent care, assessing and treating patients at the scene, referring them to other healthcare providers, or transporting them safely to appropriate treatment centres when necessary.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform effectively under pressure, and flexibility when responding to a wide range of patient needs. You will be expected to uphold the Trusts core values and behaviors while delivering excellent patient care.
Successful candidates will be placed onto a dedicated Overlay Roster for a minimum period of 12 months.
The Overlay Roster has been designed to support operational resilience across London and provides additional workforce capacity where demand is highest. As a result, the roster will contain a higher proportion of unsocial hours than standard operational rosters.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide emergency and urgent care to a wide range of patients, assessing and treating patients at the point of contact where appropriate, referring to other healthcare providers where necessary, and conveying patients safely to treatment centres, hospitals or emergency departments according to their clinical needs.
Working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Assistant Ambulance Practitioner (AAP), the post holder will work independently and alongside an HCPC-registered Paramedic or other suitably qualified member of staff to provide high-quality, safe and effective clinical care, including patient transportation. All care will be delivered in accordance with UK Ambulance Services Clinical Practice Guidelines and service policies and procedures.

Job summary
Applications are invited for the position of a Senior Clinical Fellow in Gynaecological Oncology and Colposcopy. This will be a 12 month fixed term post.
Candidates will be expected to take part in clinical research in gynaecology and would be expected to lead on research projects and present findings at conferences.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to offer experience in gynaecological surgery with a view to becoming proficient in all aspects of complex gynaecological surgery, particularly minimal access therapy. They will be an integral part of the diagnostic pathway for patients with suspected gynaecological cancer, providing out-patients services including colposcopy, hysteroscopy and / or ultrasound.
Excellent communication skills with both patients and staff are expected, in particular counselling skills in breaking bad news and supporting patients on the cancer journey.

Job summary
The Specialty Doctors will be expected to exercise an intermediate level of clinical responsibility but ultimate responsibility for the patients they treat will rest with the relevant consultant. At least one session per week will be under consultant supervision.
This is a 10 PAs post with up to 12 PAs negotiable. The core hours are 08:00 to 18:00 and on call shifts are 08:00 to 20:30 and 20:00 to 08:30. The rota is currently 1:8 and includes normal days, long days and nights. Full details will be discussed at interview.
Main duties of the job
Responsibility will be to the Consultant Lead for Specialty Doctors and the Clinical Director. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to review the job plan with the Clinical Director or representative at least once a year.
The post holder will form one member of a full shift rota which may be in theatres, ICU or obstetrics. In addition to daytime ICU shifts, work allocated may vary according to requirements and may include daytime PAs in main theatre, day surgery and obstetrics according to experience.

Main duties of the job

About the role:
As an Urgent Care Assistant, you will be required to undertake a dual role of driving and reception work to support the efficient operation of Integrated Urgent Care services across the South West locality.
We operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service, on a rolling 4-week rota pattern to be agreed following a successful interview, providing care to our service users. The role will involve non-clinical support to clinicians and patients who use the NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours service.
A degree of flexibility will be required, and there may be the occasional opportunity to work outside of your contracted hours to facilitate the smooth operational running of the service.
Our Urgent Care service operates across Wiltshire, with bases in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury and Swindon. If successful your rota may include a variety of the below hours:
- Monday Friday 18:15/18:30 23:00 (Evenings)
- Monday Friday 23:00 08:00 (Overnights)
- Saturday - Monday 0800 - 08:00 - (Encompassing AM/PM/Evening or Overnight Shifts)
Please note that overnight working will be required as part of this role and will make up part of the required working rota (23.00-8.00)
Your key duties will include:
Driving
- Driving Clinicians to the patient's home in a safe and legal manner adhering to current driving regulations.
- Perform basic vehicle checks at the beginning and end of shifts ensuring they are roadworthy, fuelled and fully equipped.
- Accurate recording of all medications and consumables used while on shift.
Base
- To be the first point of contact for the patient or carer/relative in our designated Treatment Centres.
- Supporting Clinicians while you are on shift.
- Communicating with patients both in person and via the telephone (comfort & welfare checks).
- Ensure the Treatment Centre is kept clean and tidy.
Medication and Stock Management:
- Using a variety of computer systems to accurately maintain stock levels of medication and consumables.
- Replenishing car stock at the end of your shift.
- Understand stock rotation and expiry dates on weekly delivery of medications and consumables
Full Training will be provided
The Urgent Care Assistant role is variedand requires a flexible and resilient approach. You will be expected to undertake a broad range of duties, including periods of prolonged sitting (for example, at a reception desk or in a vehicle), alongside more physically demanding tasks such as moving and carrying emergency equipment and delivering CPR at floor level when required.
As part of the role, you must be comfortable working in both clinical and mobile environments, responding to the needs of the service as they arise.
Please note that all successful candidates will be required to undertake and pass a drivers medical in line with role requirements.

(23.00-8.00)Please note that shift patterns and rota flexibility can be discussed at the application stage.About the role:As an Urgent Care Assistant, you will be required to undertake a dual role of driving and reception work to support the efficient operation of Integrated Urgent Care services across the South West locality.We operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service, on a rolling 4-week rota pattern to be agreed following a successful interview, providing care to our service users. The role will involve non-clinical support to clinicians and patients who use the NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours service.A degree of flexibility will be required, and there may be the occasional opportunity to work outside of your contracted hours to facilitate the smooth operational running of the service.Our Urgent Care service operates across Wiltshire, with bases in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury and Swindon.
