Job summary
This role will involve the practitioner working within the team in a busy Cardiology department providing a range of complex cardiology investigations and producing detailed and evidence based clinical reports.
The post holder will perform a range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations according to grade and within scope of training. The post would suit a newly or recently qualified Cardiac Physiologist/PTP looking for a springboard to further their career. Ensuring a flexible and responsible service, which is based on an individualised approach to patients, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. Act in accordance with Trust health and safety policy ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Report any untoward incidents as set out in the Trust policies and procedures. Participate in out of hours and weekend working as required to ensure safe and equitable service delivery to our patients.
Able to liaise closely with patients, including those with whom it may be difficult to communicate, and with their carers, explaining procedures and results as appropriate.
The post holder will be required to deal with some patients who are acutely unwell and /or distressed. Ensure that all patients are dealt with courteously and promptly whilst maintaining their comfort and dignity as much as is possible
The post holder is required to promote the Trust's core values of positively.
Main duties of the job
- Ensure clinical safety standards are met when supervising all rehabilitation sessionsin line with service policies.
- Maintaining all records associated with the Cardiac Physiology Team an organised and confidential manner in accordance with Code of Conduct and Caldicot Principles.
- Prepare Clinical areas and maintain clinical equipment, reporting any faults immediately to line manager / service lead.
- Assist in the daily cleaning and regular cleaning of equipment as per infectionprevention and control standards.
- Perform supervisions of assistants and students as necessary.

The South Staffordshire Perinatal and Maternal Mental Service is a specialist service delivering person centred care to expectant and new mothers who are experiencing moderate to severe and complex mental health problems within the perinatal period, or families who have mental health needs associated with loss and trauma occurring in the maternity and neonatal context.
Due to recent staff changes an opportunity has arisen to join our service on a fixed term basis. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and creative psychological professional who wants to make a difference to the lives of mothers, babies, and their wider families. You will have a passion for supporting both Adult and Infant Mental Health and have an interest in improving maternity systems and supporting those who have mental health needs associated with maternity or neonatal trauma or loss.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive, engaged team of Perinatal and Maternal MH psychological professionals, MDT and wider service. The post holder will receive regular supervision and CPD as well as informal support. Across MPFT Perinatal Services there is a strong structure in place comprising of qualified clinical psychologists, psychological therapists and assistant psychologists supported by a Lead Psychologist for Perinatal and Maternal MH.
Main duties of the job
The service is part of MPFT Perinatal Services which includes Brockington Parent and Baby Unit and Shropshire Community Perinatal Mental Health Team. Psychological Professionals play an integrative role in the MDT and are valued and well supported by colleagues. While this post will be primarily focused on delivering psychological support to individual families there will be scope for delivering training and consultation to partner agencies and service development.
The team offers a range of individual and group interventions from a range of theoretical models. Clinical supervision structures are in place to support clinicians to access model specific supervision for specific interventions. We have an established CPD programme within the team and you will be supported to develop your psychological skills in this specialty. The psychology team have close connections with other psychologists within the Children and Families care group, the Maternal Mental Health Service within the Shropshire care group, and perinatal services in North Staffordshire, alongside the local DClinPsy courses offering regular trainee placements, research opportunities and perinatal course teaching.
The services covers the geographical region of South Staffordshire. There is an expectation for the successful post holder to be able to travel to meet the service need. We welcome applications for flexible and hybrid working.

Job summary
The Macmillan Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides expert, patient-centred care for individuals diagnosed with Head and Neck and Thyroid cancers throughout the cancer pathway. Acting as the Key Worker, the post holder delivers clinical, psychological and supportive care from diagnosis through treatment, recovery, survivorship and, where appropriate, end of life care. The CNS coordinates personalised cancer care interventions in line with NHS England priorities and national cancer standards.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an Deputy Radiology Systems Manager to help lead, develop and support PACS, RIS and associated radiology information systems across Hywel Dda University Health Board.
This is an opportunity for a skilled radiographer with strong radiology IT experience to play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient and high-performing digital imaging services across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
You will work closely with the Radiology Systems Manager, clinical teams, administrative colleagues, Digital Data and Technology, and system suppliers to ensure radiology systems support timely diagnosis, effective workflows and excellent patient care.
The role combines specialist systems leadership, service improvement, training, governance, data quality and operational support, with the opportunity to contribute to system upgrades, new modality integration, business continuity planning and wider radiology transformation.

Main duties of the job
The Deputy Radiology Systems Manager will support the day-to-day management, administration and development of PACS, RIS and associated radiology information systems, ensuring systems are reliable, effective and responsive to service needs.
You will provide specialist advice and first-line support to clinical and administrative users, analyse complex system and workflow issues, coordinate fault resolution, monitor system performance and help maintain robust audit trails, access controls, data quality processes and asset records.
The post holder will support training, quality assurance, image transfer, system configuration, upgrades, new equipment and modality integration, business continuity arrangements and improvement projects. The role will also include supervising PACS/RIS administrative staff, supporting safe service continuity and deputising for the Radiology Systems Manager when required.

The successful candidate will work as a Senior Staff Nurse for Quality and work alongside the senior team to help maintain patient safety, whilst enhancing practice and supporting staff development.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should have good communication skills and work well within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates need a minimum of 2 years experience working with an acute hospital, ideally within a trauma and orthopaedic setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Healthcare Assistants to join the Older People and Adult Community (OPAC) Intermediate Care Unit based in Peterborough.
Intermediate Care Unit is currently a 34 bedded inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Our unit is a joint Nurse/Therapy led facility. We have visiting Consultants and daily GP support. We provide short term rehabilitation for individuals from the age of 18 years who have had a change to their physical health. This may be due to an exacerbation of a pre-existing medical condition, an overall general deterioration in their abilities or acute cause.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include the delivery of direct patient care, following our Trust policies and procedures, being responsive and respectful to patients, their families and colleagues needs.
To observe and report to a registered member of the team, any changes which may indicate an alteration in the general well being and safety of a patients. This includes observations on patient's clinical condition. To be aware of own limitations and when to seek support and guidance.
To provide patients with personal care as required and demonstrate empathy, dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.
To be an active team player and work with patients, families and members of the wider multi-disciplinary team

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic BSE accredited echocardiographer to join our dynamic and forward thinking team.
Applications would also be welcomed from echocardiographers working towards BSE accreditation and aspiring to band 7 roles. This department has a long history of successfully supporting trainees through the accreditation process.
There are in excess of 10 echo rooms at Royal Stoke & County Hospitals which provide a full range of services including, TTE, TOE, DSE, GUCH, contrast and support for structural work in the interventional labs. The service also supports one-stop clinics for heart valve disease, oncology, heart failure and inherited cardiac conditions.
Main duties of the job
The Heart Centre at UHNM provides tertiary cardiology and cardiothoracic surgical services for over 2 million people across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and South Cheshire, as well as secondary care cardiology for the local population.
The successful applicants will join the established and prominent consultant, nursing and technical team, and will have every opportunity to participate in continuing the development and success of the service.
The successful candidate will be BSE accredited, or working towards BSE accreditation and looking to further develop their skills. This department has a strong track record for developing extended roles such as physiologist or scientist led heart valve surveillance clinics, Herceptin echo clinics, stress echo and TOE, which have been established for a number of years. the team are currently developing echocardiographers within the the heart failure unit. Echo sonographers at UHNM have had the opportunity to complete health assessment training, masters level heart failure modules, attend international conferences and are encouraged and supported to produce, present and publish their work

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a doctor with an interest in critical care to develop as a clinician. The post is designed to provide a wide range of critical care experience, including peri-operative medicine for complex major surgery, neuro-intensive care, follow up clinic and working with a range of specialities to continue to develop critical care services within the Trust.We provide a wide range of training opportunities making these posts ideal for doctors hoping to enter specialty training at stage 2/3 or apply for CESR or portfolio pathway.
Main duties of the job
- Contribute to the provision of a high quality, responsive critical care service to Barking,Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust that assumes responsibility for the patients within the catchment area in co-operation with colleagues in anaesthetics and other clinical departments. This will involve caring for patients on the ITUs and HDUs at Queen's Hospital and/or King George Hospital, reviewing patients and initiating critical care treatment in Accident & Emergency, theatre recovery and ward areas, and undertaking transfer of patients (both intra- and inter-hospital).

Main duties of the job
- Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across wards, departments, and communal areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Clean designated areas in accordance with approved cleaning methods, NHS National Cleaning Standards, and agreed cleaning frequencies.
- Work in line with daily schedules as directed by the Domestic Services Supervisor or Line Manager.
- Safely operate mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
- Support infection prevention and control by adhering to the National Colour Coding System and relevant cleaning protocols.
- Ensure cleaning cupboards are kept secure and maintain responsibility for issued keys.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse or midwife to join a small team of maternity vaccinators. You will work as part of the vaccinators to ensure eligible birthing people are offered vaccinations in pregnancy.
We currently work closely with the inpatient and outpatient maternity services ensuring that services are accessible to service users. As such you will be expected to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for a specialised caseload involving the implementation and coordination of specialised treatment regimens involving specialist podiatric care and patient management programmes.
The post holder will have knowledge in the specialist area and possess a high level of clinical competence and clinical diagnostic skills, whilst treating a varied clientele including children and adults, those with learning difficulties and anyone with limb / foot deformities which affects mobility and function.
The post holder will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work across professional boundaries to ensure best care for patients with specialist podiatric care needs. The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner with well-developed clinical skills and maintain a high level of knowledge and experience whilst treating complex foot problems.
And provide the highest quality of podiatric care to those patients whose feet are assessed as being "at risk" (in line with departmental guidelines). This may require the post holder to use their own judgement to alter the treatment plan to suit individual patient's needs. If problems arise beyond the scope of this post the patient must be referred to a more experienced podiatrist.

Job summary
Guy's and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust are looking to appoint 2 new GPwER posts to work for one day a week in the breast unit. The successful candidates will become part of the team involved in the diagnosis of patients presenting with a new breast symptom (one-stop clinic).
There will be training and mentorship embedded within the role with scope for continuing professional development including exposure to interventional radiology and operating theatres. The post also involves important service development projects to align the breast unit with the needs of the local community. This includes setting up a breast pain pathway and developing a dedicated paediatric pathway to improve the experience of children and young people with breast problems.
GSTT is a world-renowned centre for cancer care, and the breast service is made up of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team who strive to provide exceptional and timely care for patients with breast cancer. The successful candidates will be a welcome addition to the team, bringing their knowledge and expertise into the hospital environment for the benefit of patients.
Main duties of the job
- Following a period of training, the post holder is expected to see 12 new symptomatic 'one-stop' breast patients in a 4-hour session every week.
- The post holder will also be part of the team setting up 2 important service improvements, which involve community engagement. Namely, a breast pain (mastalgia) pathway and a paediatric service for children and young people with breast problems aged under 17.
- Ongoing mentorship and appraisal will be provided by the clinical lead (breast surgeon).
- There is scope for professional development including access to diagnostic and interventional radiology and theatre.
- There is scope to be involved in research and audit projects.

Job summary
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service based within the Royal Stoke Clinical Trials Department.
The post holder will be required to perform a range of routine and non-routine tasks within Pathology following Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The tasks will include: sample receipt and preparation, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and updating of information systems. To work within the written Policies and Procedures of the Department especially in relation to Health and Safety and Quality.
To be an efficient and flexible member of the laboratory team assisting in the delivery of the service.ms
Main duties of the job
To support the day-to-day running of the Clinical Trials laboratory, with the support of the Clinical Trials Associate Practitioner and the Quality Operational Support Manager for Clinical Trials.
To perform a number of laboratory procedures/ activities.
Resolve relatively straightforward problems e.g. inappropriate and unlabelled samples according to the departmental SOPs, escalating to a more senior member of staff where appropriate.
To ensure adequate stock of all reagents and consumables are maintained, properly rotated to minimise waste and ensure service delivery.
To support in clerical tasks such as:
o Request entry on the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
o Monitor generic email inboxes and calendars
o Assist with data collection for clinical trials as required
o Telephone enquires
To ensure that agreed data quality checks are carried out and, if discrepancies are found, to report or rectify them as appropriate
To communicate technical information (this may include test results where departmental policies allow) to clinicians and other colleagues ensuring that this is understood and transcribed correctly and record appropriately
Is aware of, understands and complies with the Pathology Quality Policy and supports the development and implementation of the Pathology Quality Management System (Q-pulse) the for Clinical Trials laboratory

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join the Domestic Services Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The Domestic Services Department plays a crucial role in supporting patient care by providing a high-quality cleaning service across wards, clinical departments, and communal areas throughout the Trust. Main duties of the job
- Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across wards, departments, and communal areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Clean designated areas in accordance with approved cleaning methods, NHS National Cleaning Standards, and agreed cleaning frequencies.
- Work in line with daily schedules as directed by the Domestic Services Supervisor or Line Manager.
- Safely operate mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
