Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your role includes delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring respect and dignity for residents. You'll support the care team to provide continuous services, handling tasks such as personal hygiene and recognizing clinical risks. You'll act courteously towards residents and their visitors while practicing safe systems across tasks. Our ideal candidate should communicate effectively, respect residents, demonstrate initiative, and be adaptable. No prior experience is required as we offer thorough induction and training. - Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.

Are you a passionate and experienced Specialty Doctor looking to make a real difference in sexual and reproductive healthcare?
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (7.5 PA) Specialty Doctor in Contraception and Sexual and Reproductive Health (CSRH) to join Sexual Health Dorset on a permanent basis.
Working across Dorset, primarily from our Bournemouth and Weymouth hubs, you will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse population.
This is a varied and rewarding role with opportunities to provide specialist contraception and sexual health care, including scan guided complex contraception management and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) services. You will contribute to our Complex Contraception and LARC clinics, support the nurse-led Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP) service and contribute to the training and development of colleagues and trainees.
You will have a minimum of five year's experience as a College Registered Trainer and be fully qualified in ultrasound scan guided techniques and practice for MTOP and complex contraception.
Sexual Health Dorset provides a comprehensive range of services including specialist GUM clinics, young people's services, PSM and HIV PrEP provision.

Main duties of the job
As the Specialty Doctor you will work under the direction of the CSRH Consultant and as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with a wide range of sexual and reproductive healthcare needs.
Working closely with consultants, nurses, health advisors and operational colleagues, you will promote collaborative multidisciplinary working and help drive continuous service improvement. You will provide clinical leadership within the service and support the supervision, education and development of nursing staff, trainees and junior colleagues.
As the Specialty Doctor you will contribute to teaching and training programmes, including support for DoCSRH, LoC IUT and LoC SDI training, while also participating in clinical audit, quality improvement, research and service development initiatives.
The post is well supported by an Admin Manager, Data Lead and dedicated administrative team, providing full administrative and secretarial support to facilitate the smooth running of clinics and timely communication with clinicians, referrers and patients. We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and skilled musculoskeletal physiotherapist to our experienced CMATS (General and Spinal) Team, within the Central area of BCUHB.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming team of experienced clinicians, who work closely with our Primary Care practitioners, in addition to Orthopaedic, Pain, Rheumatology, and Primary Care staff and services. Training and support will be provided.
The CMATS service delivers triage and clinical assessment sessions for people with musculoskeletal symptoms and orthopaedic conditions, within the diverse and beautiful Central Area of North Wales. Our aim is to offer excellent assessment and triage of people with musculoskeletal problems within a timely manner; ensuring an appropriate onward management plan through shared decision-making.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills, who will have a broad background in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, where additional competency in imaging, requesting bloods or prescribing would be helpful.
Main duties of the job
To take a clinical lead role in the assessment and treatment of patients where the caseload will comprise of mainly patients with highly complexpresentations. This will be through highly specialist / extended scope clinical knowledge and application, audit, research and education. It will require liaison with a diverse number of multidisciplinary specialities and integrated working with other disciplines and agencies.
To work as an autonomous, clinical highly Specialist Physiotherapist. To work with the Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist to develop and deliver a high quality clinical service throughout BCUHB. Leading by example; provide a high standard of specialist assessment and treatment of patients in a variety of locations. Using evidence based principles / current best practice and advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
To develop competencies for frontline clinical staff within the section in order to assess; clinically reason and effectively treat routine cases and identify those with complex needs where support may be required. Support staff to develop skills to identify potential serious pathology in patients referred for Physiotherapy.
To provide an ongoing rolling training programme and support package to develop appropriate knowledge and skills in the workforce within thespecialism and rotational staff base.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking to appoint Specialist Grade doctors in Acute Medicine to work across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), General Medicine wards and the acute medical take at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Woolwich.
The post is designed for experienced clinicians with at least 12 years of clinical practice, including a minimum of 6 years at middle-grade level or above in acute and general internal medicine.
Main duties of the job
The primary purpose of this post is to provide clinical leadership across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), General Medicine wards and the Acute Medicine rotas. Specialist Grade doctors rotate through duties including Consultant/Specialist Grade doctor of the Week for the AMU, Ambulatory Care, and on-call commitments within an eight-week cycle. This rotation pattern may be adjusted in line with departmental needs.
A formal job plan will be agreed between the appointee and the Clinical Director (on behalf of the Medical Director) within three months of appointment.

Main duties of the job
The role of a Specialist Occupational Therapist is to provide specialist occupational therapy to children and young people accessing The Childrens Trust School and residential services. You will provide high quality, evidence based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children and young people with neurodisabilities and neurodevelopmental concerns, within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency setting.
Our service delivery aims to promote outcome focussed interventions, safe care, function and participation of children and young people accessing home, school, and community life. You will support children and young people with functional activity within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency setting.

Clinical Skills and Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, evidence based occupational therapy provision for children and young people attending The Childrens Trust School, in partnership with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and education services.

The Rheumatologydepartment at Lewisham & Greenwich is a busy cohesive unit on two sites, offering a comprehensive rheumatology and musculoskeletal service to the local community. The disease spectrum at Lewisham and Greenwich is wide and interesting, in part related to the diverse ethnic background of the local population. The service aims to offer a one-stop service and is continually looking at new ways of delivering care.
There are close links with the GRID (Genetics, Rheumatology, Infection and Dermatology) CAG (Clinical Academic Group) at Kings Health Partners. There are close relationships with the rheumatology clinical services at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (including shared CPD sessions and shared guidelines)
Main duties of the job
General rheumatology outpatient clinicsrun daily within QEH outpatient's department.
Early Inflammatory Arthritis Clinicsrun weekly and are overseen by Dr Aicha Bouraoui at QEH, and there will be opportunities for the new post holder to contribute to this service.
Connective Tissue/Vasculitis clinicsrun fortnightly at both sites, supported by the specialist trainees and there will be opportunities to lead on these clinics within the service. There is a monthly virtual Nephrology / Rheumatology MDT at QEH.
Paediatric Rheumatology Clinicsare held fortnightly in Paediatric Outpatients at UHL in network with the Evelina Children's Hospital, supported by the Paediatrician Dr Alistair Yim, Dr Catherine Mathews, a Paediatric Physiotherapist and, where required for biologics management, the rheumatology specialist nurse.
The Trust provides a dedicated osteoporosis service with weekly clinics at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). These clinics manage two patient cohorts, comprising patients aged over 70 years and those under 70 years. The service supports the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of osteoporosis and related metabolic bone disorders.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the osteoporosis service and undertake osteoporosis clinics on a weekly basis as part of their clinical responsibilities.

Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for Clinical Teaching Fellows at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in Anatomy, Physiology and Clinical Skills. These are career development posts at FY2/ST level to facilitate the learning of the next generation of doctors. You will be involved in developing and delivering active learning sessions in the practical application of anatomy, physiology and clinical skills primarily in Phase 1 (Years 1&2). You will receive training from a team of enthusiastic clinical educators and will have opportunities for professional development, including support with gaining a teaching qualification.
Applicants will have a keen interest in medical education and training. Applicants must be registered with the GMC and have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience after graduation from medical school.
