Job summary
The Department of Dermatology is seeking a part-time (6.5 PA) Locum consultant for up to 12 months. It includes tertiary paediatric services in severe eczema as well as general paediatric dermatology clinics at St Thomas'. The post also includes general adult dermatology clinics at the St. Thomas' Hospital site. The post may have a requirement for flexible working across other South East London dermatology sites depending on service demand. We are looking for a dynamic applicant who is committed to excellence in patient care and who is forward-looking as we explore innovative ways of delivering our services.
As an organisation, we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This includes asking certain groups of staff to work more flexibly so that we can offer services to patients in the evenings and at weekends. We regard this flexibility as essential if we are to continue to provide first class patient care in the future. As a result, any offer of employment to a consultant post will be subject to you agreeing to work a new more flexible pattern of working in the future if required and in accordance with the provisions of the new Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust consultant contract.
Main duties of the job
St. John's Institute of Dermatology with Clinical Genetics, Rheumatology (including Lupus), Infection (including HIV and Sexual Health) and Allergy (Specialist Ambulatory Services) is one of the largest clinical directorates at GSTT. The clinical directorates are clinically led with separate budget and performance targets. The SAS Clinical Director is Dr Toby Garrood, the General Manager is Michaela Cashman and Head of Nursing is Louise Farrow.
The Dermatology Department provides a wide range of multidisciplinary specialist clinics as well as general dermatology services. Formerly a post graduate teaching hospital, it is now fully integrated into the Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals Trust and the Guy's and St Thomas' School of Medicine (GKT) of Kings College London. St. John's Institute of Dermatology contributes to GKT research activities as part of the Division of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, GKT Medical School, Kings College London and provides an annual MSc postgraduate course. Cutaneous medicine is also one of seven designated BRC themes which form a core component of the Biomed Research Centre at GSTT and KCL.
About us
The Trust consists of St Thomas' Hospital at Waterloo, including the Evelina Children's Hospital, and Guy's Hospital at London Bridge. We are also part of King's Health Partners (KHP), which comprises King's College London, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. KHP is one of just five accredited UK Academic Health Sciences Centres (AHSCs). Through our AHSC, we are committed to making research and education integral to the delivery of high quality clinical care. The King's Health Partners Integrated Cancer Centre (ICC) is the vehicle for developing and managing cancer research, clinical services, and training and development across all of the KHP partner organisations.
Ourhospitals have a long and proud history, dating back almost 900 years, and have been at the forefront of medical progress and innovation since they were founded. We continue to build on these traditions and have a reputation for clinical, teaching and research excellence.

Job summary
NSFT are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Psychologist to work within our services across Norfolk and Suffolk, under the widening access scheme funded by NHS England. This is a part time (1.5 days per week) position, for 12 months.
This scheme for aspiring psychological professionals is part of a nationally funded programme that aims to improve equity of access to training in the psychological professions. This disadvantage affects certain groups such as first-generation graduates and care leavers; those who receive additional financial aid or with caring responsibilities. It is also likely that this impacts additionally across other socio-economic groups significantly under-represented in psychology including psychology graduates from ethnic groups who may experience marginalisation within the communities which we serve. We therefore particularly welcome applications from people fromallthese backgrounds.
It is essential that candidates read the attached application guide before applying. Applicants MUST have a BPS accredited degree in Psychology to be eligible for this post - you can check this on the BPS website: BPS > Accredited Courses
