Job summary
Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with systems that support staff safety and security? We're looking for a proactive and personable Uniform and ID Coordinator to join our Facilities team!
In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating the Trust's ID badge and access control systems, ensuring staff have the correct identification and secure access to buildings and systems. As the first point of contact for ID and access-related queries, you'll produce ID cards and fobs, maintain accurate system data, and help resolve access issues efficiently - supporting the safe and secure running of our hospitals.
Alongside this, you'll also support the delivery of the Trust's uniform service, helping staff feel prepared and professional in their roles. You will deliver consistently high customer service in a busy environment where priorities can shift quickly.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position (37.5 hours per week, on site). We can offer some flexibility around start and finish times.
Main duties of the job
You will have a varied day to day, but your main tasks will be:
- Acting as the first point of contact for ID badge and access control queries across the Trust
- ProducingID cards, fobs, and managing access permissions to ensure staff have the right level of access
- Investigating and resolving access issues, working with internal teams and software contractors
- Monitoring stock levels for ID materials and supporting the smooth running of the service
- Providing support to the uniform service, including processing requests and assisting staff
- Managing inboxes, prioritising requests, and ensuring timely, accurate response

Work pattern: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
The successful applicant will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel and their families.
Hourly Rate - £36.65 per hour
Main duties of the job
Job Description:
- To provide the Dental Officers with clinical and administrative support to enable him/her to achieve his/her primary purpose, including the provision of dental hygiene treatment, oral hygiene instruction and education and any other appropriate clinical procedure as prescribed by a Dental Officer working towards improving and maintaining the oral health of entitled personnel.
- To undertake all activities described in the GDC Scope of Practice. Carrying out work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided. This is in accordance with the Dental Auxiliary Regulations 1986, as amended by the Dental Auxiliaries (amended) Regulations 1991.
- To ensure that not less than 6.5 hours per day in 2 sessions are set aside for appointed patients.
- To comply with all Health and Safety Policy directives and legislation.

Job responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE
To undertake specialised psychological assessments, treatments and other types of clinical intervention appropriate to this level of training with individual & groups of service users within the inpatient acute service. To provide support and psychological consultation to inpatient multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs). To be able to work independently, under supervision, on a day-to-day basis. To assist in the development of a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all service users of the service, across all settings where care takes place.
Research and service evaluation To plan, monitor and evaluate own work, using clinical outcomes assessments, small-scale research methodology and statistical procedures. To assist in the design and implementation of service-based audit and research projects using appropriate methodology and statistical procedures, as agreed with the clinical supervisor. To undertake data collection, analysis, the production of reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programmes. To undertake searches of evidence-based literature and research to assist the team and respond to changes in evidence-based practice in individual work and work with other team members. To continually develop own knowledge of applied psychological models, specific client groups and types of psychological difficulty through reading, literature searches and personal study.

Job summary
This is a part time permanent post for 22.5 hours a week.
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven member of staff to join the Turn Around for Children Service (TACS) as a health visitor. The post holder will have responsibility to assess a specialist group of clients from the Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC). They will plan and implement health visitor services for each of our families based on their personal needs and as identified by the court process.
Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain evidence-based specialist care adapted to meet the needs of a defined community population to ensure that service users receive appropriate intervention, maintaining the standards set at a local and national level.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work with the established 29 Consultants and 2 Specialists in a rota including evening, weekend and overnight sessions as part of their job plan. The successful applicant will be expected to take a role in our new (co-located) minor injuries unit, as well as working with the other Consultants on the shop floor, enabling the Department to meet National Service Frameworks and Government targets.
The appointee will be contractually accountable to the Bristol Foundation NHS Trust for the provision of services. The appointee will be managerially responsible to the Chief Executive through the Divisional Director. All Consultants are required to undergo an annual appraisal carried out in accordance with the Trust policy. Consultants are also required to take an active and co-operative approach to their job planning, which will be reviewed on an annual basis by their clinical Director.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and knowledgeable Consultant Breast Surgeon (10 PA) to contribute to the elective recovery and continued restoration of the Breast Care service within Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, delivered at Weston General Hospital and Southmead Hospital.
The department is well supported by oncologists from the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre and by a group of experienced and dedicated Cancer Nurse Specialists and Specialist Nurse Practitioners. The Bristol Breast Care Centre hosts the Avon Breast Screening Programme which is one of the largest screening programmes in the country.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Duties
- The postholder will be responsible for the clinical management of patients under their care, and, in liaison with consultant colleagues, continuity of care when the postholder is absent.
- The work of the Breast Care Unit is now delivered across 2 sites (Southmead Hospital & Weston General Hospital). The postholder is expected to deliver care on both/either site according to their agreed job plan and the need of the service.
- As part of the division's target to expand theatre usage and improve theatre utilisation, the postholder, with other consultants, will provide flexible theatre cover as part of their weekly programmed activities.
- The post holder with contribute to the on call rota, this is in hours only.
- The post-holder will work a flexible Job Plan of 10 PA per week to help the department achieve its targets in both cancer and non-cancer.

This is a fixed term vacancy and the job plan activities provided are subject to change based on service requirements.This post temporary post, to compliment upper gastrointestinal team in managing benign upper gastrointestinal conditions, non-surgical upper gastrointestinal cancers and hernia services. There is close engagement with Upper gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatic cancer services at Bristol Royal Infirmary. The job plan has a fixed pattern over a 12-week period and will be subject to review at 12 months. In an elective week, the post holder will provide services including operating sessions, clinic, relevant MDT meetings, ward rounds and endoscopy and supporting professional activities. The postholder will perform independent laparoscopic and open upper gastrointestinal and hernia procedures. There is additional work participating General Surgery on-call rota providing care in emergency surgery including colorectal resections and other General Surgical emergencies.
Main duties of the job
The upper gastrointestinal surgery is part of the GI surgery unit based in the Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital, and comprises of 7 upper GI surgeons. This includes 4 specialist Bariatric surgeons undertaking the full range of surgery, including revisional surgery. The GI team is part of the rota providing 24-hour emergency GI surgical care at Southmead Hospital. The postholder will manage major trauma cases when doing emergency general surgery on-call.
When on call, the on-call consultant is responsible for reviewing patients in same day emergency care (SDEC) and acute admissions from 1pm. Consultants do an evening ward round (4-5pm) on the day they are on call and a post take ward round at 08:00 the following day. On the day after on call, the consultant is responsible for the CEPOD list. The post holder will have no elective commitments when on-call. The emergency take has evolved over time in both volume and complexity. GI surgery provides a subspecialist upper and lower GI take with patient transfer between teams. We have a co-located medical and surgical SDEC unit. The surgical SDEC unit includes other surgical specialties such as urology and neurosurgery.
Each consultant will do regular week-day on-call with average 1 in 8 frequency and weekend on-call of 1 in 12. These frequencies are subject to changes with new appointments. On-call day to include SDEC and the CEPOD list on the following day. This model will be reviewed at 6-12 months.

When you receive a call, you are responsible for recording accurate information, sometimes under difficult circumstances and offering advice or reassurance to the caller/patient. Main duties of the job
The appointee will work clinically at the RUH (Royal United Hospital) Combe Park site and at Sulis Hospital (owned by the RUH). This post is a standard 10PA contract. Comprising 8.5 PAs Direct Clinical Care (including on call) and 1.5PAs Supporting Professional Activities in line with the national Consultant contract.
The clinical work will include elective and emergency operating lists across a broad range of surgical specialties (except for cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, burns, transplant, and major trauma) plus pre-operative assessment and peri-operative care.
This job includes a specialist interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia. Paediatric services at the RUH handle around 2,000 elective and emergency cases a year across urology, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, special care dentistry and radiology, including a dexmedetomidine sedation service for MRI and a developing virtual pre-operative assessment pathway. You will work closely with paediatricians, surgeons, theatre teams, emergency medicine, critical care and the wider multidisciplinary team, and contribute to clinical governance, education, quality improvement and service development.

Job summary
In this role you will be making a difference by providing full, comprehensive support to the management of elective patient admissions, including the management of all clerical staff within the service across a given number of specialities.
You will be liaising with clinicians and managers to ensure patient access targets are adhered to in accordance with Trust Policy and National Guidance.
You'll be working independently within the team whilst providing line management support to the Senior/Booking Coordinators and Booking Assistants.
There will be the opportunity todevelop and implement improvements in the processes within Elective Admissions. You will be monitoring progress of team members and ensuring that booking processes are adhered to.
Main duties of the job
Be responsible for the operational management of a given team of Booking Co-ordinators
To ensure an appropriate level of admin and clerical support is maintained at all times by co-ordinating and monitoring requests for annual/study leave and managing sickness absences. This will include maintaining accurate leave records for each staff member.

Undertake staff appraisals in conjunction with the Elective Admissions Manager to identify development and training needs.
Attend regular meetings with other Elective Admissions staff and ensure that information is cascaded to Senior/Booking Co-ordinators as required.

Purpose of the role
The Family Support Manager sits within the Therapeutic Services Division at The Green House. The role is responsible for managing the Family Support Team who offer Initial Meetings to young people/families/professionals, one-to-one Family Support sessions, multi-agency casework, psychoeducational parent groups, as well as the Pathway Administrators of the therapeutic services. The post holder will work as part of the Management Team, contributing to service development across the organisation in line with The Green Houses strategy. The Family Support Manager will hold Safeguarding Advisor responsibilities within the organisation. The normal place of work is The Green House, Bristol however it may be necessary from time to time to attend meetings and events elsewhere.
