Job summary
Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6) inHaematology Early Phase Clinical Trials
NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow (ST6) in Haematology Early Phase Clinical Trials from 1 February 2027. The aim of this position is to offer comprehensive specialist training in all aspects of running early phase haematology clinical trials including protocol development, regulatory procedures, associated translational research projects and presentation of research at meetings.
Cancer is a major strategic area of UCLH and UCL with a focus on developing novel pathway-directed therapies. There is an excellent infrastructure allowing clinical trials to be linked with basic science, facilitating targeting of specific molecular abnormalities in cancers with therapeutics. UCL is both an Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre and a Cancer Research UK Centre, and the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility (http://www.uclhospitals.brc.nihr.ac.uk/crf/national-institute-health-researchwellcome-uclh-clinical-research-facility) is supported by the NIHR and Cancer Research UK. There are close links between the CRF and the UCL Cancer Institute (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cancer/) providing excellent opportunities for translational research projects linked to drug development.
Main duties of the job
This full-time, fixed-term post will be for a period of 12 months from 1 February 2027. Full GMC Registration is essential and possession of MRCP or equivalent is necessary. Specialist training in haematology or oncology and competency in prescribing chemotherapy is required, experience in clinical trial work is desirable.
The aim of this position is to offer comprehensive specialist training in all aspects of early phase Haem-Oncology clinical trials including protocol development, regulatory procedures, associated translational research projects and presentation of research at meetings

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Therapy Assistant to join the dynamic Community Neurotherapy Team based at Ellesmere Port Hospital. As a Therapy Assistant you will assist in the delivery of high quality occupational therapy and physiotherapy plans to patients with a variety of Neurological rehabilitation needs both within the community and in an out-patient clinic. These sessions may be jointly with registered members of the team, within a group setting and/or on a 1:1 individual basis.
You will work alongside and liaise with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff as well as the wider multidisciplinary team, family members and other outside agencies as directed by registered therapists.
Whilst experience within a healthcare setting as a therapy assistant would be an advantage, it is not essential as training will be provided and you will be supported in your development by both the team and by our Practice Development Therapist.
This post is part time 22.5 hours per week.
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
Main duties of the job
- To work under the direction of a registered therapist carrying out therapeutic intervention on a daily basis.
- To implement patient treatment plans, written by the registered therapists
- To observe patients, either individually or in groups and report all relevant observations to registered therapists.
- To accurately record interventions electronically using an in house computer based system in a timely manner.
- To take responsibility for attending and participating in clinical supervision
- To attend in service training and external training to ensure skills and knowledge are current.
- To undertake mandatory training and attend staff meetings

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a for Band 3 Community HCA (Clinical Support Worker) within the DN Treatment Clinics/ Lower Limb Service (LLS) working across Livewell Southwest Clinics. The LLS has been successful in becoming a National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) Implementation Site 1st tranche for the NWCSP Lower Limb Recommendations. The service has also recently been shortlisted for a HSJ award.
You will need to demonstrate a strong interest/experience in Tissue Viability & lower limb management in order to provide specialist care, in all aspects of lower limb health & skin care. Working clinically under the guidance of Registered Nurses and Nurse Associates. Effective communication & teamwork are key. Health promotion/patient education is an essential part of this role, as is collaboration with other allied healthcare professionals as Marjon University's Sports Therapists deliver our Wellbeing programme.
The DN Treatment Clinics provide care to non-housebound patients that is unavailable at their GP surgeries: , urinary catheter management, nephrostomy care & Topical Negative Pressure Therapy wound dressings.
Daily duties require periods of prolonged bandaging & the work is physically demanding. You will be required to work in a variety of treatment clinic settings across the Livewell footprint,
Main duties of the job
As a member of the DN Treatment Clinics/Wellbeing Lower Limb Service you may be required to work independently during your working day.
The post holder will demonstrate a history of interest in lower limb management and Tissue Viability.
The post holder is supported by the Community Team Manager and Specialist Service Lead and is responsible for supporting and collecting information for the holistic assessment and management of Lower Limb disease. To be highly skilled in compression bandage application techniques and wound management. Underpinning aetiology and management of patients with leg ulcers. The post holder will be required to make contemporaneous recommendations for the management of lower limb conditions and implementation of an appropriate care plans, know when to escalate to a senior member of the team. Demonstrating the principles of wound healing and management, the aim of which is to enable patients to enjoy maximum independence and optimum quality of life.

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Band 7 Colorectal Bowel Dysfunction Specialist Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our dynamic colorectal service. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work autonomously whilst being part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of bowel dysfunction conditions.
The post holder will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with complex bowel dysfunction, including faecal incontinence, obstructive defaecation, functional bowel disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. Working in an outpatient clinic, you will lead specialist clinics, support service development, and contribute to improving patient outcomes and experience.
As an advanced practitioner within the service, you will act as a key resource for patients, carers and healthcare professionals, providing specialist advice, education and support. You will work collaboratively with colorectal surgeons, gastroenterologists, pelvic floor teams, specialist nurses, physiotherapists and allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based care and optimise treatment pathways.

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for service improvement and innovation. You will have experience managing patients with bowel dysfunction and be confident in autonomous decision-making, care planning and coordinating complex patient pathways.

Job responsibilities
- As a member of the Data Quality Team, support the trust in meeting the data requirements of clinicians, hospital managers, commissioners and Trust board.
- To Identify and report anomalies in data and ensure that any errors are corrected at source.
- To work as part of the EPR programme to ensure that patient related data held within the Trust is accurate
- and complete to enable reliable and robust reporting to support clinical and business processes, statutory information and income generation.
- Providing training, mentoring and coaching as required to groups.
- Provide training, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one basis if required.
- Identify data quality issues and ensure that departments are made aware of them in a timely manner in line with national deadlines.
- To audit the accuracy and completeness of data held on Lorenzo and other trust systems ensuring that they are properly completed, and data quality standards are maintained in line with Information Governance requirements.
- To identify areas where the quality of data and or working practices require audit and help promote awareness of the importance of clinical data.
- To support the Clinic Coding and Information Departments to ensure that targets and quality standards are maintained within the agreed deadlines.
- To provide Data Quality training and awareness sessions as required based on service needs.
- To undertake Referral to Treatment (RTT) Validation, ensuring that patients on an RTT pathway have the correct RTT outcome. Chasing the outcome when necessary.
- Provide information to enable patients to be managed more effectively through their 18-week pathway.
- To close referrals when required for any patient showing on an RTT pathway that has been identified as a stopped pathway, ensuring that the correct pathway has been identified.

Job summary
This role is full time; working 37.5 hours per week.
Fully Flexible shifts between 08.00-18.30pm- Monday to Friday, based on a 4 week rota.

Please note; you must have previous experience of General Practice, dealing with patients and medical knowledge to be considered for this position.
You will be responsible for supporting the Call Centre Team Lead and the Call Handlers with day to day business operations including the effective motivating, monitoring and training of Call Handlers, identifying training needs and appropriate KPIs following Teldocs policies and procedures. You will be required to demonstrate a flexible approach to working and may be required to work across other sites to deliver training and Call handling awareness across the Teldoc workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Call handlers deliver high quality service and you will actively promote the Teldoc vision, values and behaviours, promote positive communication and encourage bonding of team members. The Call Handler Trainer role will include working independently and as part of a team.
Main duties of the job

To assist with ensuring staffing levels are maintained at a consistent level, in line with leave policies to ensure operational needs are met.
To assist Call Centre Leads in ensuring tasks and other Call Handler admin related duties are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with any policies.
