Job summary

Support the ward manager & provide clinical leadership including supervision of staff, audit & research, clinical governance, development of evidence-based guidelines & training/education
Role model compassionate & inclusive leadership
A Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice including completion of a non-medical prescribing qualification & independent advanced clinical skills is essential aspart of the Tier 1 rota
Identify sick infants who subsequently require management on the SCBU including initial assessment, stabilisation, & management, including passive cooling, ventilation, fluids, drug therapy & other resultant treatments. They will work closely with Paediatric Consultants & other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Role model to all staff & part of the senior team to improve & maintain standards & provide comprehensive advice and guidance to all departments.
To manage & lead complex situations in the absence of paediatric medical cover, making judgements involving complex facts, requiring analysis & interpretation to monitor & evaluate outcomes in patient-centred care.
To undertake nurse-led initiatives & procedures according to set protocols & procedures.
Main duties of the job
Advanced clinical practice is delivered by experienced, registered nurse/midwives. It is a level of practice with a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This is underpinned by a Master's degree that encompasses the 4 pillars of:
- clinical practice
- leadership & management
- education
- research,
The Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will:
- Use advanced knowledge and skills in Neonatal care to undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, make decisions based on clinical reasoning and initiate, evaluate, and modify a range of interventions.
- Provide professional senior clinical leadership and support within the specialty multi professional team and across service boundaries.
- Support the wider team to build capacity and capability through work-based and interprofessional learning, and the application of learning to practice. Act as a role model, educator, supervisor, coach, and mentor
- Lead clinical audits and critically engage in research activity using the results to underpin own practice, inform the practice of others and make organisational recommendations.
- Provide a proactive, effective holistic service for newborn infants on SCBU, delivery-suite and postnatal wards. This includes responsibility for the clinical care and management for babies in SCBU.
Assume lead clinical oversight for transitional care babies on the postnatal ward and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve the aim of reducing avoidable admissions to the SCBU.

Role Summary
The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Clinical Responsibilities

We are ideally seeking a qualified Dispenser with previous dispensing experience, ideally within a GP Dispensing Practice.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role combining dispensing and reception responsibilities within a busy rural GP Practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with appointments and enquiries, while also supporting the dispensary with prescription processing, medication dispensing, stock management, and compliance activities. To assist patient with their care and nutritional support and needs.
To safely and accurately record physiological observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respirations and temperatures and escalate and report to the registered nurse accountable for the patients care.
To report back any relevant care about the patient to the registered nurse.
Assist patients to mobilise safely using equipment and techniques prescribed and recorded in their plan of care.
Promote a culture of ambulatory care by supporting patients to be as independent as possible with washing, dressing in own clothes and encouraging mobility from admission.
Assist in the provision of prescribed programmes of care e.g rehabilitation and therapy goals under supervision and guidance.

- This 30 to 37.5 hours per week role combines day-to-day leadership of the research nursing service with active involvement in delivering commercial and non-commercial clinical research studies. Working closely with the Research Lead GP and Research Manager, you will lead and develop the research nursing team, oversee study delivery, support workforce development, maintain research governance standards, and help grow research across Banbury Cross Health Centre and other PML sites.

Main duties of the job
- The Lead Research Nurse will provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for the research nursing service across Banbury Cross Health Centre and other PML sites. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated primary care Ophthalmology Consultant required to cover medical Glaucoma but willing to cover general Ophthalmology, as required by the department to join our dedicated and professional multi-disciplined ophthalmic team.

Ward 26B is an elective surgical ward caring for patients undergoing planned surgical procedures booked through the Trust's waiting list coordinators. The ward admits and cares for patients from a range of surgical specialties.
In addition, during periods of reduced elective activity, the ward supports patient flow by receiving and caring for non-elective surgical patients from Ward 32B.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant psychology post to work with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Early Intervention in Psychosis service, specifically to support clinicians in the delivery of evidence based interventions, including Psychosocial Interventions (PSI) and Behavioural Family Therapy for service users experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis or At Risk Mental State (ARMS).
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual, with an interest in working with people with psychosis or at risk mental states. You will be working as part of a team of clinical psychologists and cognitive behavioural therapists, primarily supporting the delivery of psychosocial and family interventions in community teams. Main duties will include supporting the delivery and evaluation of interventions, attending group supervision, MDT case discussions, literature searching and audit work.
You will be joining a dynamic and busy team with a range of psychologists and CBT therapists, working alongside an MDT of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, STR workers and peer support workers.
Clinical supervision is integral to this post and to the service. It affords an excellent opportunity for the post holder to develop their skills and knowledge in PSI, family interventions and CBT for psychosis and ARMS.
Main duties of the job
As an assistant psychologist you will be supporting the delivery of family intervention and PSI work for service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis or an at risk mental state.
The successful candidates will work with service users predominantly who have experienced an episode of psychosis, or who are thought to be at risk of developing psychosis.
Supervision is an integral part of this role and you will be supported with regular access to supervision by a consistent colleague in the team.
It is desirable to have an interest in working with people experiencing psychosis and at risk mental states.

Job summary
We are looking for high-performing individuals to join our existing team of Acute Medicine Consultants at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. There are currently seventeen Acute Medicine Consultants and Specialists who are supported by a wider team of consultant colleagues from other specialties to manage patients within our service.
Candidates are required to have MBBS or an equivalent primary medical qualification, full MRCP qualification and a CCT or CESR in Acute Medicine. We will consider candidates with a CCT or CESR in General Medicine, providing they can show sufficient experience in Acute Medicine at consultant-level.
The Acute Medicine department includes an Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Short Stay ward as well as a Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) and Medical Receiving Unit (MRU). The Acute Medicine team is made up of 17 Consultants and Specialists who are supported by consultant colleagues from other departments to deliver care across our Acute Medicine and Short Stay areas. Opportunities for teaching are available in our simulation suite and clinical skills area. Other areas of special interest are encouraged.
The standard job plan is 10PA but less-than-full-time working is welcomed. The breakdown of job plans will be agreed with the successful candidates, using a standardised tool to ensure parity between colleagues.
This department embraces flexible working, and candidates are encouraged to approach the leadership team to enquire further.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
The post attracts 10 PAs, including 1.5 core SPA in the expectation that career-grade medical staff will undertake additional roles as part of their normal agreed job plan. The appointee will have responsibilities across the department, but there will be opportunities to develop subspecialty interests depending on experience and service needs.
Clinical
Responsibilities include ward rounds of our footprint of 94 inpatient beds, assessment of new and follow up patients presenting to same day emergency care (SDEC) and full participation in an acute medicine rota covering 0800-1600 and 1600-2100 shifts. Weekend ward rounds are included on a 1-in-6 basis (WTE). The role generates a degree of administrational work. The appointee will be expected to respond to results appropriately and liaise with other teams as required.
Clinical Governance
There is an active governance structure that includes a monthly morbidity and mortality meeting. As well as being expected to prepare cases to present in the meeting, the appointee will recognise and respond to risks and incidents using widely used reporting systems. They will investigate and respond to patient complaints in a courteous and timely manner. They will contribute to audit of departmental and hospital-wide standards as well as leading quality improvement projects to address concerns.
Management
The post holder will be accountable for clinical matters to the Clinical Service lead.

Are you a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about delivering compassionate support to maternity staff? Job summary
We are looking for a dietitian to work in a PCN in Wolverhampton. This is a fixed-term maternity cover cover role. The dietitian has to work in-person.
We support and help dietitians become first contact dietitians (FCDs).
First Contact Dietitians are qualified autonomous clinical practitioners working in GP practices who can assess, diagnose, treat, and manage dietetic problems and undifferentiated conditions, and where appropriate, to discharge a person without a medical referral.
FCDs are a key multidisciplinary team member in primary care and support reducing GP workload. FCDs working in this role can be accessed directly by self-referral or staff in GP practices can direct patients to them to establish a rapid and accurate management plan to streamline pathways of care.
Main duties of the job
The dietitian will be a highly skilled, senior practitioner able to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice, with expert knowledge in the management of patients dietary issues and conditions. They will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the PCN.
The dietitian will provide person centred interventions for the patient from initial clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care within set patient groups. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice MDT to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide dietetic leadership as required.
The role requires the dietitian to work in-practice, and work closely with a forward thinking and passionate multi-disciplinary team.
The PCN is looking for a dietitian who can support their patients with:
