Were looking for an experienced and motivated Urgent Care GP to join our busy, wellsupported Urgent Care Centre at HJE.
Main duties of the job
Our UCC is a walkin minor injuries unit open 7 days a week (8am to 8pm week days and 8am to 6pm weekend) and BH and closed at night. Youll work alongside a minimum of two doctors and one nurse at all times, ensuring safe, efficient, highquality care for every patient who walks through our doors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP with strong urgent care, minor illness, or A&E experience who thrives in a fastpaced clinical environment and enjoys working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Job summary
As a Band 7 Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the safe, efficient and patient-centred delivery of Outpatient Pharmacy Services.
You will provide clinical screening and checking of outpatient and specialist prescriptions, including HIV, chemotherapy and paediatric prescriptions, identifying and resolving medicines-related issues before dispensing. You will provide patient-centred counselling and medicines advice, including for patients using home delivery and out-of-hours collection services.
You will have an important operational role, monitoring KPIs, prescription turnaround times and the Prescription Tracking System (PTS) to identify delays, manage outstanding prescriptions and support timely patient care. You will also monitor the Outpatient Pharmacy mailbox and ensure queries are prioritised and actioned.
Working closely with pharmacy colleagues, you will contribute to improving patient experience, service quality and efficiency, using FFT feedback, complaints and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
The role also includes staff support and development, training, appraisal, SOP development, audit and quality improvement. You will deputise for senior colleagues when required and help shape the development of a responsive, high-quality Outpatient Pharmacy Service.

Adhere to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards of conduct, ethics and performance, and ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal obligations, including standards for registered pharmacies.

Deliver a patient-focused, responsive, and professional Outpatient Pharmacy service, maintaining the highest standards of service and upholding the department's professional image at all times.

Dispense medicines legally, efficiently, and accurately, ensuring all clinical and accuracy checks are completed as required, in line with the responsibilities outlined in the job description.

Provide patients with appropriate counselling and information about their medicines, ensuring they fully understand how to take their medications safely and effectively.

Offer professional leadership within the Outpatient Pharmacy, working in partnership with the Principal Pharmacist for Outpatients to ensure pharmacy practices--your own and others'--are in line with current professional guidance (e.g., Medicines, Ethics and Practice by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and GPhC standards).

Actively respond to individual patient needs, taking appropriate action to resolve issues or complaints as they arise, always maintaining a compassionate and solution-focused approach.

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician and Lead Clinical Pharmacist in delivering a high-quality, patient-centred medicines management service within the locality. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing medicines reconciliation on admission.
- Supporting safe and timely discharge through effective medicines management.
- Providing patient counselling to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Coordinating the supply of medicines in line with clinical needs.

Main duties of the job
-
The renal transplant team perform an average of 150 transplants a year, including 20 paediatric recipients.
We have an active live donor program and provide dialysis access to a large cohort of patients with end-stage renal disease.
Several of our surgeons also provide endocrine and hernia surgery, widening the scope of your clinical experience.
You will also be part of the emergency general surgical team on an on-call rota, working in admissions, emergency clinic and emergency theatre.

The Histopathology Department at MKUH have recently had a business case approved to expand our workforce due to our popular and growing services. As the demand for pathology services increases, we are investing in our workforce, welcoming Histology Speciality grade professionals to join our growing team and bring fresh expertise and innovation to the department.
Applicants are invited to apply for a the specialty position in Cellular Pathology at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
These posts will complete a team of nine consultant histopathologists. The post is full-time, and applicants who, for personal reasons, are unable to work full time are also eligible to apply. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust, in consultation with consultant colleagues.
The post holder will be contracted to provide histopathology and non-gynaecological cytology services at Milton Keynes Hospital Foundation Trust, alongside colleagues in Cellular Pathology.

Main duties of the job
The post holder must be competent in cutting-up all benign cases and most of the complex cancers without consultant supervision. Independent cut up as well training and supervising training grade doctors and Biomedical Scientists in cut up are the main responsibilities of the job.
Independent reporting of benign cases (and other cases commensurate with competence and experience) is part of the main responsibilities; there will be appropriate Consultant oversight.
The post holder will be involved in the organisation of the rota of the department and opportunities will be available to learn about general laboratory management and administration.
The rota will assign the post holder to work with the SpRs in the department to share cutting up and reporting according to a regular timetable.
A digital pathology is available, and we are currently working on a home reporting project to be able to provide a hybrid approach to meet service needs
There is a departmental multi-headed microscope, which is used for Cellular Pathology Internal Quality Assurance and teaching / educational meetings.
The successful applicant may be expected to participate in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students (in association with the University of Buckingham) and to support colleagues undertaking these activities as part of his or her agreed job plan.

The post holder will be the identified lead in the development of nursing practice in own specialist area, working at an advanced level across the healthcare teams, also as a core member of the metastatic breast cancer Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT). The day to day work of the Cancer Clinical Nurse specialist role is essential to deliver cancer waiting targets, manage the patients cancer pathway, support with critical clinical nursing interventions, liaise with PHT specialist MDT to facilitate safe effective care within IOW with external speciality consultants, prevent admissions or expediate admission for patients with oncological emergencies, arrange blood transfusions or vital medications and treatment plans, support during breaking bad news, and ensure MDT outcomes are actioned to avoid delay in-patient cancer pathways, support visiting oncologists, provide vital patient information and signposting, and provide psychological support to cancer patients. Main duties of the job
As a Medical Secretary, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to support the clinical team and ensure patients receive a professional and efficient service. Key duties include processing referrals, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, handling patient enquiries, maintaining accurate clinical records, and supporting administrative functions of the Practice.
You will liaise with patients, hospitals, community services and other healthcare professionals, ensuring information is communicated accurately and promptly. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will be confident using clinical systems and Microsoft Office applications, possess strong communication skills, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a healthcare or medical secretarial setting would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is an important role that contributes directly to the smooth running of the Practice and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

- Assist with maintaining and updating clinical systems (e.g., EMIS).
- Assist with death process and certifications.
