Main duties of the job

Priory Hospital Southampton is looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist. This is a permanent position, ideally full-time (37.5 hours per week) with part-time and job-share arrangements also considered.
Set within beautiful, landscaped gardens, Priory Hospital Southamptons tranquil environment offers therapeutic and recovery-focused residential treatment for those suffering from a number of mental health conditions.
The hospital has 31 mixed gender adult acute beds across 2 wards, as well as a 13 bed Eating Disorders ward and an Eating Disorders day hospital, all of which care for NHS patients.
The hospital is well-established and holds a CQC rating of Good. One of our acute wards is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrist Quality Network for Working Age Adults, and we are aiming for the other ward to achieve accreditation this year.
We have a long-standing partnership with the local NHS Trusts, and relationships with commissioners and neighbouring NHS services are strong.
Main duties of the job
You will join the team on the Sandpiper Ward, which is an 18 bed mixed gender adult acute inpatient ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide consultant psychiatric care for up to 18 inpatients, undertaking comprehensive assessments, leading ward rounds and delivering high-quality, patient-centred treatment.
- Provide clinical leadership for the ward, leading multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, supporting effective decision-making and ensuring safe, recovery-focused care.
- Supervise and support the Specialty Doctor, while working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to promote clinical excellence and professional development.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the service through participation in clinical governance, audits, senior management meetings and service improvement initiatives, while building strong relationships with NHS partners and commissioners.
- Support effective patient flow through regular clinical reviews, risk management and discharge planning.

An exciting opportunity to work within the Phlebotomy Department.
The phlebotomy team provides essential services both within the Trust and the wider health care community. This post includes working within The Countess of Chester Hospital on inpatient wards, outpatient services, as well as clinic settings. We also provide services at the located on The Chester GP Hub located at the Countess of Chester Hospital Site for GP bloods and offsite locations that include a GP Phlebotomy Hub in Ellesmere Port and ward/outpatient services in Ellesmere Port Hospital. This role includes working at all of the listed locations.
The Phlebotomy team covers weekend duties on a rotational basis; therefore, flexibility of the successful candidate is essential.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring that the patient is as comfortable and relaxed as possible and confirming their agreement to the collection of a blood sample.
- Collection of samples(s) of blood in accordance with training and procedures
- Accurate, legible labelling of all samples to confirm patient identity.
- Checking patient identification against GP/nurse request and confirming with patient whenever possible
- Recording collection of blood sample via electronic method
- Ensuring that samples are dispatched to the appropriate laboratories in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring that anomalies or incidents are reported to a senior member of staff and reported via the Datix incident reporting system

This post is for two Consultant Cellular Pathologists 10PAs (with up to 2 additional PAs) to join a team of Cellular Pathologists (currently 1.9 wte NHS Consultants and additional support provided by a private company with 3 Consultant Pathologists on-site and additional outsourced reporting).
There is a large and diverse workload with provision of the Cellular Pathology service to the Hospital (including Northamptonshire Cancer Centre) and to Primary Care. There are network links with Leicester Hospitals and Kettering and the department supports a full programme of local and regional cancer MDTs. Participation in the autopsy service is desirable and subject to approval of the post holder by HM Coroner. Attendance at appropriate cancer multidisciplinary team meetings as the lead pathologist will be required. This is a modern, well-equipped department with a commitment towards "Lean" working, the laboratory has full ISO 15189 accreditation.
Each Consultant has a modern well-equipped office with high quality microscope, teaching head and digital imaging system. The personal computer has digital dictation software and access to hospital intranet and internet facilities. Voice recognition is planned. Although there is no full departmental subspecialisation, subspecialist interests are expected with MDT participation and these are negotiable. Consultants' subspecialist interests are expected to complement each other.

Friar Gate Surgery is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse with a recognised Mentor Qualification to join our friendly nursing team.
We are a long-standing and well-respected GP practice located close to Derby town centre, with parking available just off Friar Gate. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming, high-quality GP service to all our patients.
The role will involve all aspects of practice nursing, including cervical screening, childhood immunisations, recording vaccinations administered abroad, family planning and chronic disease management.
We are particularly looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who can provide mentorship and support to our current Nurse Associate, who will be undertaking her Nursing top-up degree from January 2027. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting her development, providing clinical guidance and helping her build on her skills and experience throughout her training.
You will work alongside our Nurse Associate who will be training to be a Practice Nurse and two GP Partners to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our practice population.

Main duties of the job
Patient Care: Assist and support with clinical tasks like wound care, cytology, childhood immunisations, medicals, and chaperoning. Conduct pathology requests, and manage LTCs including Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, and the other Quality and Outcome Framework Reviews.
Clinical & Admin Duties: Follow protocols, maintain equipment and rooms, ensure stock rotations, and handle vaccine orders manage flu home visits, keep mandatory check records, and support administrative processes.
Confidentiality: Safeguard patient data and uphold practice policies on sensitive information.
Health & Safety: Implement infection control protocols, manage PPE and hand hygiene, handle specimens, and oversee sterile environments. Train on safety measures, monitor equipment, and address hazards.

We are seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with experience in aseptic services, technical services, or hospital pharmacy. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of aseptic preparation, medicines legislation, quality assurance, governance, and national aseptic standards.
The post holder will provide specialist technical support and leadership within Aseptic Services, promoting safe, efficient, and high-quality aseptic practice. The role will support quality management systems, validation activities, governance processes, investigations, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), NHS guidance, and regulatory requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic Radiographer to join our friendly CMR team, to undertake a variety of MR examinations efficiently and effectively for our patients, adhering to best practice of radiographic technique.

About us

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the established Barrow Integrated Care Community (ICC) Clinical Team as a Band 5 Care Coordinator.
This role is ideal for an experienced health care professional who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting people to remain independent within their own communities.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Case Management, GPs, Community Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Social Care and VCFSE partners, you will coordinate care for patients with frailty, long-term conditions and complex needs. Spire Dunedin Hospital is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Scrub Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join our dynamic Theatre Team on a Bank basis
Main duties of the job
Scrub for Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT to name a few Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing.
