1 x 37.5 hours permanent and 1 x 37.5 hours Fixed term 12 months
Applications are invited from competent, able practitioners who wish to provide dynamic support to the theatre Trauma and Orthopaedic team.
The operating department includes 16 in-patient theatres within the Division plus the Surgical Day Unit (3 GA theatres and Paediatric Day facility.
Trauma and Orthopaedic Scrub experience essential.
Out of hours and oncall cover required.

Main duties of the job
The theatres provide an operating service to the following clinical specialities: General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Obstetrics, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Maxilo-facial, Robotic Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT and IVF.
There is also provision for 2 x dedicated emergency theatres and 2 x dedicated Trauma theatres within the complex.The division is committed to staff development and offers an excellent competency based training package. Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential to this post.

Conduct holistic assessments to identify the needs of service users and carers within their home environments, ensuring recommendations are appropriate and within available resources.

Independently manage a specialist clinical caseload, maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit an asthma clinical nurse specialist (CNS) who will be working within an integrated neighbourhood model supporting the delivery of a pilot to identify and manage children and young people (CYP) at high risk of asthma exacerbations.As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will act as a lead specialist within paediatric asthma across community and primary care settings, contributing to an integrated neighbourhood team (INT) approach. E-Rostering Co-Ordinator - Band 4
An exciting new opportunity to join the E-Rostering Team within the Trust, delivering daily, weekly and monthly activities to support all Workforce staff including Nursing and Medical workforce to utilise and maintain the electronic rosters.
Full training on the RL Datix Suite will be provided for the appointable candidates, however a working knowledge of rostering systems, rota management and shared in box / diary management would be preferable.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

This is a part time post of 27 hours per week working flexibly Monday to Friday (some weekend work may form part of the role in the future). The shift times are between 08:00 - 17:30 and will involve a rotation of shifts across the week to meet the needs of the service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Minor Injury Practitioner to work in our unit at Newquay Hospital.
This is a Band 5/Band 6 post and we are interested in interviewing both Practitioners who able to work in an advanced practice role which includes minor illness and paediatrics at Band 6 level and also Aspiring Practitioners with an urgent care background who would like to develop further and are already undertaking and have almost completed a relevant minor injuries and illness course.
