Job summary
Market Surgery is delighted to be advertising for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly, diverse and highly skilled nursing team. This is an additional role as we grow and develop our current team.
We are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant for 30 hours per week.
Working days are 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)

Main duties of the job
Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) in primary care play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and patient-centred care. Their work contributes to the smooth functioning of the practice and patient health and well-being. HCAs in primary care have a wide range of duties, primarily focused on supporting patients and assisting the clinical team. They work under the supervision of registered nurses or other healthcare professionals, ensuring patients receive the care and support they need, ensuring comfort and safety. They will also play a vital role in health promotion, patient education, and administrative tasks.
Their responsibilities include supporting the Nursing and GP team with monitoring long term conditions which may require visiting patients homes, including residential homes. General duties include, venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, sample processing and NHS Health Checks

Job summary
We are looking for a Primary Healthcare Nurse to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), CTCRM Lympstone Medical Centre, in Exmouth, Devon.
This is a locum role (37.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.
Pay rate:
PAYE £21.85 (£19.50 + £2.35 holiday pay) per hour
Umbrella - £25.13 per hour
Main duties of the job
- To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, under the Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) organisation, delivering Primary Health Care (PHC) services and elements of Occupational Health and Health Promotion to the Defence Medical Services (DMS) entitled Population at Risk (PAR).
- To be responsible to the Senior Medical Officer / Lead Clinician / Senior Nurse and provide routine clinics as directed to meet the needs of the organisation and the PAR.
- To be involved in the development and implementation of local programmes of care/ service delivery within their scope of practice; conducting electronic searches and performing audit to promote quality improvement.
- To assist in the supervision of untrained staff within the practice, under the guidance of the Senior Nurse / Lead Clinician and within individual scope of practice.
- To undertake and remain in date for all mandatory training as set out in the most current DPHC Guidance Note entitled Mandatory Training for Locums, Agency Staff and single Service personnel working within DPHC.
- To maintain patient safety and support healthcare governance activity.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
The post holder will act as a Health Care Scientific Support Worker (HSSW) to provide technical and clerical support to the scientific services to patients and customers as an aid to clinical diagnosis. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to work in the renal unit as a part of a multidisciplinary team. the contract is a part time 30 hrs/week and you'll be rotating regularly between haemodialysis and Renal Day Case Unit.
Experience in renal is appreciated but it's not a requirement as full training and support will be provided. We are a friendly team and good team players.
The role on Renal day case is mainly focused around assisting invasive procedures in our procedure room and renal biopsies or central lines insertion. Helping the RN on welcoming the patient to the unit, pre procedure preparation and post care. You will also help with patient flow.
You'll be offered further training in cannulation and venipuncture if you are interested.
In haemodialysis you'll be train in dialysis vascular access, cannulation of access and accessing central lines. You'll be also trained on competencies to dialyse patients on haemodialysis machines and possible complications. As a part of the team you'll escalate any issues to the Registered nurse on duty/ in charge.
Working Pattern:30 hrs a week in rotation with haemodialysis long early 7:30 to 18:30 long late 12:00 to 23:00. Monday to Saturday.

Job summary
The Community Childrens Nurses provide care to Children with Long Term and Life Limiting Conditions from birth to 18 years of age. We are looking for an individual to work across our Long Term Conditions Team and Home Respite Team. The Home Respite Team is a county wide service consisting of healthcare support workers who provide short sessional support for children with on-going health needs within their own home and community settings. The Care Support Workers work closely with the trained staff to meet the needs of the children and their families and provide family Centered Holistic Care. When not delivering respite the post holders will be running small clinics for children requiring overnight saturations recordings, managing the essential equipment and supplies used by the nursing teams and families and supporting the trained nurses in meeting the needs of the children. The post holder will be lone working and must have access to a vehicle for work use.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a service that provides audiology care for children and adults, and the role offers a paediatric focus to clinical practice with an opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas. Main duties of the job
