Quality Governance Lead Role
Are you passionate about improving quality, safety and governance in maternity services? We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to drive the development and implementation of our Maternity Quality Assurance Framework and support delivery of the MatNeo Intensive Support and Governance Review improvements.
Working closely with the Director of Midwifery, Clinical Director, General Manager and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across quality governance, clinical effectiveness, patient safety, audit, risk management, education and research. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance arrangements, embedding continuous improvement, and assuring compliance with local and national quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with strong clinical governance experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for improving outcomes for women, babies and families.

Main duties of the job
The primary aim of the role is to support the development and embedding of the Quality Assurance Framework, including the implementation of the outcomes of the MatNeoIst governance review at BHFT. The role will provide assurance that the maternity services have established guidelines, processes and procedures that facilitates on-going plan for consistent compliance with all locally and nationally agreed quality standards based on clinical governance framework. These are in the domains of clinical audit, effectiveness, risk management, education, training and research.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our ward based team at Rampton Hospital.
Working closely with our clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals the successful candidate will help provide a quality medicines management service to wards across the Trust, supporting medicines optimisation.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include:

The UTC at Newton Abbot is a busy environment, that supports the local population and sees a wide variety of patients of all ages with minor injuries and illnesses. The average attendance is 105 attendances per day.
The service runs on booked appointments with provision for walk-in attendances.

Your opportunity.....As a GMC registered Consultant, you'll play a vital role in a progressive and forward-thinking East Kent Critical Care team. East Kent Critical Care operates across three units: Kent and Canterbury Hospital (8 beds), Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate (9 beds), and the William Harvey Hospital (24 beds). This post, including on-call commitments, is based at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, although sessions on other sites are available if requested.Our Critical Care team boasts some exciting special interests across our three units. There's a strong focus on critical care ultrasonography, with state-of-the-art equipment supporting focused echocardiography and bedside ultrasonography. Our consultants include accredited CUSIC and FICE mentors, plus two FICE supervisors. We have high spec ultrasound equipment available on all units, and have recently successfully procured a brand-new state of the art echo machine as well as a cutting-edge echo and ultrasound training mannequin with training modules for transthoracic and transoesophageal echo as well as lung and abdominal ultrasound (including a COVID lung ultrasound module). We also have an interest in advanced ventilation modes such as APRV and Intellivent ASV, and run regular advanced ventilation workshops. Outreach and a Critical Care Rehabilitation service are well established, and we are well supported by a full complement of allied health professionals.

Job summary
Day Surgery Unit in Heatherwood are looking for a bank ward clerk/receptionist. The applicant should be enthusiastic, professional , reliable, hardworking and motivated to meet the administrative demands of our busy Day Surgery Unit.
You must be passionate about delivering excellent service and with a flexible attitude Ward Clerk / Receptionist to join our friendly team on Day Surgery Unit at Heatherwood Hospital, where we care for patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures from admission to discharge.
Main duties of the job
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Day Surgery Unit at Heatherwood Hospital, ensuring the efficient operation of the service. Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with Trust policies, procedures, and Information Governance requirements.
Support patient admissions and discharges using EPIC, including scanning and uploading relevant documentation. Keep staff informed of patient movements and arrange patient transport within and outside the hospital as required.
Maintain effective communication with the ward team and other departments, while providing general administrative support, including photocopying, filing, and monitoring office supplies. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Main duties of the job
You will support the leadership and delivery of the Integration workstream, helping drive co-ordination across complex programme activities to support delivery of the New Hospital Programme.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the development and monitoring of the Radiology Quality Management Strategy and quality and safety framework, supporting accreditation against the Quality Standards in Imaging and ensuring evidence-based assurance is available for internal and external scrutiny.
The role will include analysing complex information from multiple sources, identifying trends, preparing clear reports and action plans, and working with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure learning is embedded and improvements are delivered.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver safe, patient-centred care to outpatients, working within the Nursing Associate scope of practice and escalating concerns appropriately.

Main duties of the job

This role will involve the practitioner working within the team in a busy Cardiology department providing a range of complex cardiology investigations and producing detailed and evidence based clinical reports.
The post holder will perform a range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations according to grade and within scope of training. The post would suit a newly or recently qualified Cardiac Physiologist/PTP looking for a springboard to further their career. The South Staffordshire Perinatal and Maternal Mental Service is a specialist service delivering person centred care to expectant and new mothers who are experiencing moderate to severe and complex mental health problems within the perinatal period, or families who have mental health needs associated with loss and trauma occurring in the maternity and neonatal context.
Due to recent staff changes an opportunity has arisen to join our service on a fixed term basis. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and creative psychological professional who wants to make a difference to the lives of mothers, babies, and their wider families. You will have a passion for supporting both Adult and Infant Mental Health and have an interest in improving maternity systems and supporting those who have mental health needs associated with maternity or neonatal trauma or loss.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive, engaged team of Perinatal and Maternal MH psychological professionals, MDT and wider service. The post holder will receive regular supervision and CPD as well as informal support. Across MPFT Perinatal Services there is a strong structure in place comprising of qualified clinical psychologists, psychological therapists and assistant psychologists supported by a Lead Psychologist for Perinatal and Maternal MH.
Main duties of the job
The service is part of MPFT Perinatal Services which includes Brockington Parent and Baby Unit and Shropshire Community Perinatal Mental Health Team. Psychological Professionals play an integrative role in the MDT and are valued and well supported by colleagues. While this post will be primarily focused on delivering psychological support to individual families there will be scope for delivering training and consultation to partner agencies and service development.
The team offers a range of individual and group interventions from a range of theoretical models. Clinical supervision structures are in place to support clinicians to access model specific supervision for specific interventions. We have an established CPD programme within the team and you will be supported to develop your psychological skills in this specialty. The psychology team have close connections with other psychologists within the Children and Families care group, the Maternal Mental Health Service within the Shropshire care group, and perinatal services in North Staffordshire, alongside the local DClinPsy courses offering regular trainee placements, research opportunities and perinatal course teaching.
The services covers the geographical region of South Staffordshire. There is an expectation for the successful post holder to be able to travel to meet the service need. We welcome applications for flexible and hybrid working.

Job summary
The Macmillan Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides expert, patient-centred care for individuals diagnosed with Head and Neck and Thyroid cancers throughout the cancer pathway. Acting as the Key Worker, the post holder delivers clinical, psychological and supportive care from diagnosis through treatment, recovery, survivorship and, where appropriate, end of life care. The CNS coordinates personalised cancer care interventions in line with NHS England priorities and national cancer standards.

Main duties of the job
- To work autonomously within their sphere of competence, undertaking specialist assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, ensuring care is safe, effective and evidence-based.
- To collaborate with all members of the multidisciplinary team, providing specialist advice and support across professional and organisational boundaries, and coordinating patient pathways to ensure seamless care throughout the patient journey.

Job summary
The Post holder will be responsible for the assessment of the needs, development of programmes of care, and for the implementation and evaluation of these programmes for patients and their relatives.

Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities
- Communicate using a range of methods to ensure a caring, sensitive and empathetic manner to patients and their relatives.
- Communicate sensitive information about patients to other members of the health care team and with the consent of the patient to their relatives.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when dealing with difficult situations provide clear and concise patient handover to other members of the team.
- Escalate concerns in a patients condition to senior members of the nursing team, medical staff Initiate referrals to other members of the healthcare team.
- To report ward and departmental affairs to the Sister / Charge Nurse and to participate in discussions and ward meetings.
- Ensure that patients concerns are addressed through liaison with senior staff.
- To communicate in a professional manner with all patients and visitors to the ward /department.
- Promote equality and diversity ensuring that the individual needs of the patients and their families are recognised.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring communication relating to patient discharge is accurate.
- It is expected that ALL employees of the Trust will take part in the appraisal process each year with the first appraisal taking place within the first 6 months from appointment
- The post hold will demonstrate the skills for assessing and interpreting specialist, acute and other patient conditions, initiating actions as appropriate.

- When rostered in charge, to take action to ensure safe staffing levels on each shift.
- When rostered in charge have an overview of all patients on the ward, receiving handover on all patients and able to give advice to other staff member
- To have digital dexterity to manage fine movements regarding treatments and equipment such as cannulation, medication administration and clinical procedures.
