Job summary
Applications are invited fora whole-time and part-timeconsultant post to join our specialist haematopathology (haematological cellular pathology) team at the John Radcliffe Hospital. These are replacement posts.
This post will work within a team of consultant colleagues to provide a comprehensive Haematological Histopathology service in the Oxford University Hospitals, including performing or supervising cut ups, microscopy, or other diagnostic techniques, reporting cases, and supporting clinical meetings and case discussions. The ability to provide support in alternative specialty pathology also would be an advantage, and additional programmed activities may be available for this.

The appointee may be required to work on any other site as required by the OUH Trust in the future.
Main duties of the job
OUH Trust in partnership with Oxford University aims to be at the forefront of modern diagnostic techniques. A willingness to adopt new diagnostic techniques into Cellular Pathology and undertake training where necessary is essential. The department is advanced in the adoption of digital pathology

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Psychosocial and Wellbeing Lead to join the Health in Justice service at Practice Plus Group.
This role is home based, with national travel to sites as required.
This is a senior national leadership position within Health in Justice at Practice Plus Group, responsible for leading and developing psychosocial wellbeing and substance misuse services across approximately 60 Health in Justice prison and Immigration Removal Centre (IRC) sites. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and external partners to improve patient outcomes, service quality, workforce development, and governance.
Salary & Hours
This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.
You will receive an annual salary of up to £80,000 per annum.

Main duties of the job
As the National Psychosocial and Wellbeing Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Lead the development and promotion of psychosocial and wellbeing services nationally.
- Shape and enhance substance misuse services and recovery-focused pathways.
- Work with primary care, mental health, therapies, and social prescribing teams to create integrated support services.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Health in Justice services.
- Provide national leadership to Substance Misuse Leads and wider psychosocial teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert on substance misuse and wellbeing services.
- Mentor and support senior clinicians across the service.
- Ensure services meet internal and external standards, including regulatory requirements such as CQC and HMIP.
- Support incident investigations, complaints management, and quality improvement initiatives.

Are you a dietitian with broad range of clinical experience and an interest in working within oncology? We are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for a Permanent 1.0 W.T.E. (37.5hours/ week) Specialist Oncology Dietitian on the City Campus at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. The post will be part of a rotational programme between General oncology, Haematology and Head and Neck/Upper GI services.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will manage a caseload within the pathways of their oncology rotation, providing dietetic advice and treatment to a shared caseload of inpatient and outpatients. You will support complex nutritional interventions, as well as nutrition support and enteral feeding, so experience in these areas would be beneficial. You will be involved in MDT and dietetic led clinics as well as training and education for patients and healthcare professionals within the service. The dietetic team have become established as core members of the multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively with consultants and specialist nurses to deliver high quality nutritional care to patients.With the support of Clinical Lead Dietitians, there is the opportunity to be involved in dietetic audit, service development and research, alongside potential opportunities to work and gain experience across all Oncology services at NUH (General Oncology, Haematology, Head & Neck, Upper GI). You will need to have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload within a supportive team. This job will require you to work with inpatients, therefore you will be required to wear the appropriate level of PPE.

Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing effective care, with an approach based on recovery and rehabilitation, to Service Personnel (SP) and entitled civilians, with timely access to skilled and effective assessment, treatment and occupational recommendations that meets the needs of the individual and the Chain of Command (CoC).
The team expects to receive on average 10 new referrals a week and will see urgent cases by the next working day and routine cases within 15 working days. Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team of 6 Orthoptists, 2 Orthoptic assistants, 3 Optometrists and 2 Paediatric Consultant Ophthalmologists, working across two main sites at Singleton Hospital and Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
The caseload is diverse including core orthoptic, one stop refraction, adult ocular motility and paediatric clinics. There is support and encouragement for advanced/extended roles. Advanced roles currently include specialising in stroke, traumatic brain injury and visual function clinics. Our Orthoptist are also actively involved within the medical retina, glaucoma and botulinum clinics.
We are passionate about teaching, providing education and training for undergraduate orthoptists, medical and nursing students.
We provide regular CPD sessions through monthly Ophthalmology audits, regular team meetings and journal clubs, with scope for funding for external courses.
This is a Band 6 post but newly qualified Orthoptists are welcome to apply and will be supported by the BIOS preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include using a wide range of orthoptic skills in order to assess, diagnose and manage a variety of both paediatric and adult ocular motility conditions. You must be able to work as part of a team and show enthusiasm. You will have support and supervision but will be expected to work autonomously. Flexibility to adapt to different situations and work under pressure is necessary.
You will be based at the Orthoptic Department, Singleton Hospital, Swansea, but may be required to work at other Orthoptic units within the Health Board so ability to travel is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must hold a degree/diploma in Orthoptics and state registration with the HCPC. Previous experience is not essential as supervision and mentorship will be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- To travel around the North West as required to provide short-term care and support to new individuals in accordance with their Personalised Plan.

Job summary
As an ENT Nurse Practitioner with InHealth, you will provide expert, patient-centred care within our community ENT service across Greater Manchester. Working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will lead ENT clinics, assess and manage patients presenting with ear, nose and throat conditions, and support timely diagnosis and treatment. Using advanced clinical skills and specialist knowledge, you will deliver high-quality care, provide health education, and ensure appropriate onward referrals where required. Main duties of the job
Lead ENT nurse-led clinics supported by Healthcare Assistants, undertaking comprehensive patient assessments, history taking and physical examination. Perform specialist ENT procedures including microsuction and, where trained, naso-endoscopy. Develop and implement appropriate management plans, make autonomous clinical decisions, and refer patients to medical colleagues or other healthcare services when required. Maintain accurate patient records, supply medications under Patient Group Directions (PGDs), and provide health education and counselling. Support clinical triage, mentor and train colleagues, participate in audits and governance activities, manage clinic stock levels, and ensure compliance with infection prevention, health and safety, data protection, CQC and organisational policies.
