Job description
Job responsibilities
This role would suit someone who enjoys working things out, finding patterns in information and making sure things are done properly and in a methodical way.
We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly. You do not necessarily need extensive or any GP experience if you have the right attitude, analytical ability and aptitude for working with data and systems.
A graduate with a degree in a relevant or analytical subject may find this role particularly suited to their skills, but we are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate equivalent ability through their previous experience.
We are looking for someone who will not simply process a list of tasks, but will ask:
"What is the data telling us?""Which patients need attention?""Is anything missing?""Can this process be improved?"
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their knowledge of primary care and become an important part of the practice's approach to data quality, proactive patient care and service improvement

Job description
Job responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced Lead Practice Nurse to provide clinical leadership across our nursing service. Someone ready to shape how nursing care is delivered, while still doing the hands-on clinical work that drew them into nursing in the first place.
This is a genuinely blended role. You'll continue to work as a Practice Nurse, delivering direct patient care for the majority of your working week, while also leading and supporting our Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists - mentoring, coaching and developing the team around you. You'll oversee clinical governance and quality across the nursing function, working closely with our Central Management Team to make sure the service runs safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard for every patient we see.
We know that stepping into leadership often means stepping away from the patient care you love, that's not the case here. Protected time is built into your week specifically for leadership responsibilities, so you're never trying to squeeze it in around a full clinical caseload. But this isn't a desk-bound management role either: you'll be a visible, trusted presence on the floor, someone your team can turn to, learn from, and lean on when it matters.
If you're an Experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys leadership without giving up the clinical work, and you want a genuine say in how nursing is delivered across a growing, multi-site organisation - we'd love to hear from you.

Job summary
The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a GP to join its team. We are looking for an additional salaried GP to join our team between our 2 surgeries, The Oaks Medical Centre and Blackwood Health Centre.
The Oaks is a forward thinking and progressive organisation with two main objectives, firstly to become an employer of choice that secondly, delivers first class care to its patients.
An excellent package awaits the right candidate which will include flexibility, being part of an incredibly supportive team and with opportunities to develop and progress into a senior role within the practice.
The Practice is now actively encouraging its salaried GP team to not just to get involved, but to assist and lead on projects that achieve our two main business aims highlighted above. Of course, time is given and protected to do this.
It is also worth knowing that in line with our aims to improve staff wellbeing and in acknowledgement of GP workload pressures, the Oaks has very successfully put significant investment into reducing the administrative burden placed on GPs.
Main duties of the job
You will be working as part of a well-functioning team consisting of GPs, ANP's, Paramedics, Nurses, HCA's and big number of back office staff. Each day is led by an experienced on-call GP who's role is purely supervisory, and there to support the whole team.
The Practice, whilst having a family feel to it, also understands the importance of structure, recognition and development for its staff. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to work in a supporting environment with a built in culture of development and progression.
We have sessions available at multiple sites and throughout the week so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like to talk about this or anything else.
About us
The Oaks Medical Centre has around 70 employees working across three sites in the Great Barr and Streetly area.
The practice has a great attitude to its staff and as such achieves retention rates far above the industry standard. 'No idea is a bad idea' at The Oaks and as such is a great place for anyone who really wishes to make a difference.
From the daily coffee and catch up meetings for all clinicians to attend, to shared lunch breaks in a lovely purpose built staff room for the whole team, The Oak's focus is its staff first as it is only with happy staff, they we are able to deliver the best patient care possible.
