At OneMedical Group, we are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary primary care team. Working alongside GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and other Healthcare Assistants, you will help provide safe, effective and compassionate care while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working directly with patients. Under agreed protocols and the indirect supervision of a registered clinician, you will carry out clinical observations and routine healthcare procedures, support health promotion and help patients to manage their wellbeing and long-term conditions.
You will also help prepare clinical rooms, maintain equipment and stock, support infection prevention standards and contribute to a positive patient journey from arrival through to completion of care.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work within your competence and under agreed clinical protocols to support safe, effective and patient-centred care across the service.

Clinical Environment: Preparing and maintaining clinical rooms and equipment, keeping stock areas clean and organised, and ensuring rooms are appropriately stocked and ready for use.
Safety and Infection Prevention: Following infection prevention and control standards, supporting emergency equipment checks and maintaining cold-chain records, including daily fridge-temperature monitoring.
Teamwork and Patient Experience: Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, maintaining patient privacy and dignity, protecting confidentiality and supporting reception duties where required.

You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a patient-facing healthcare role.
- Experience supporting patients with minor illness or within a primary care environment.
- Training and competence in relevant clinical observations and procedures, or a willingness to develop these skills.
- An NVQ Level 1 healthcare qualification or another relevant healthcare qualification would be desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- A clear understanding of confidentiality, patient dignity, infection prevention and safe working practices.
- Good organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your time and workload effectively in a busy environment.
- Confidence using clinical systems and general computer applications.
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach, with a genuine interest in developing your professional and clinical skills.
- Experience using NHS or primary care systems, supporting clinical audit, mentoring colleagues or contributing to clinical governance would be advantageous.

The use of tact and or persuasive skills to ensure service delivery is key.
To act as a point of contact for all the Radiology Rotas. To exercise judgement, participate in the decision-making process to produce safe and effective rotas and to promote and improve effective communication within the teams whilst having the ability to deal with constant interruptions and demands.
The post holder will be responsible for the administration processes to support the management of the radiology staff rotas, ensuring effective, safe staffing levels of radiographers, Clinical Imaging Assistant (CIA) and radiologists 24 hours a day; 7 days a week.
The post holder will proactively identify potential issues and take the necessary action to maintain service provision. The post holder will be expected to work with minimal supervision and to use discretion when dealing with staffing issues. A confident, professional and assertive manner is essential due to the demanding nature of the role.

Consultant post in Respiratory Medicine
The appointment is for two full-time, substantive, consultant physicians within respiratory medicine. These are two new posts and will be in addition to our five current substantive consultants. We are looking for two dynamic and enthusiastic colleagues to join our busy respiratory department at West Middlesex. The post holders will deliver respiratory outpatient clinics and contribute to the rotating respiratory ward consultant model, with plenty of scope to develop their own sub speciality interest and share the interventional work. Applications are invited from Full time, Part time and Job Share applicants. If a person is appointed as a part-time or job share position modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. The post holder will work with the existing consultants to develop services in respiratory medicine. Main duties of the job

The new post holder will share the respiratory ward and in-reach referrals in a rolling rota along with four other respiratory consultants with blocks of time on and off the ward. This will be reflected in any job plan before the post commences.
The post-holder will have a job plan detailing all duties, which will be agreed between the consultant, Service / Clinical Director for Medicine and the General Manager for medicine. The job plans will link into the team job plans for the Respiratory team. Job plans are agreed and reviewed annually. An interim job plan can be requested by either party, if necessary. If it is not possible to agree a job plan, either following appointment or at annual review, a mediation procedure and an appeal procedure are available, as laid out in the terms and conditions of service

Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor in Vascular Surgery (SpR equivalent).
We are a dynamic, motivated and forward thinking unit in a large acute hospital, and one of three tertiary vascular centres in the north east. This post would suit both experienced junior trainees (senior SHO/core trainees) who wish to obtain further experience, prior to appointment on a higher surgical training programme or those pursuing the CESR pathway wishing to further develop their skills and knowledge.
The successful applicant will cover a 1:6 non-resident vascular on-call whilst having regular scheduled theatre opportunities in either our surgeon led hybrid vascular theatre or non-hybrid theatre along with regular exposure to a variety of emergency cases. With 2 operating lists a day, our scope of practice covers the breadth of vascular surgery offering our patient population treatments for aortic aneurysms (both open and endovascular), carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease, renal access and complex venous work.
Active participation is expected in the departmental meetings, rota management and departmental junior doctor teaching programmes. The successful applicant will be guided in their development by an Educational and Clinical Supervisor, and will have access to a range of educational opportunities both formal and ad hoc along with the opportunity undertake audit, research and QI projects.
Main duties of the job
Deliver high quality patient care to inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and in the theatre environment. We expect the successful applicant to be able to competently undertake the following duties (not exhaustive);
- Lead ward rounds, make and enact management plans for inpatients within the bounds of their competence and experience whilst escalating appropriately to the relevant consultant as required.
- Clear and compassionate communication with patients and families.
- Preparation of patients for theatre and post-operative care
- Assisting in theatre and post-operative care.
- Undertake certain surgical operations and procedures independently (commensurate with level of clinical experience).
- Managing the unselected emergency take and dealing with both routine and emergency admissions.
- Comprehensive patient handover with written and verbal communication as appropriate for all vascular and referred inpatients.
- Help develop new services where needed.
- Clinical Support of more junior members of the vascular team and Specialist Vascular Nurses.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
You will work with the MDT on the ward to provide excellent care to patients admitted to the ward. You will work with other acute in-patient services in Langley Green and with local community teams.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Orthopaedic Team within the Surgical Directorate. It is essential that applicants possess a high level of sound typing skills, hold a Medical Secretarial Qualification and qualify for at least RSA Stage 3 (or equivalent).

The post-holder will need to have previous Medical Secretary Experience, possess excellent time management skills, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workload demands to meet strict deadlines, whilst producing work to the highest standards.
The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial and administrative service to the consultant, doctor and junior medical team and specialist nursing teams, other health professionals.
The post holder will be responsible for the guidance, supervision and direction of the admin team dealing with appropriate day to day issues to oversee the smooth running of the department and providing support to the line manager.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder must also have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using discretion, judgement and initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with a keen eye for detail, with the ability to process and generate urgent and routine correspondence.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, friendly and enthusiastic individual to work as a Facilities Coordinator within Facilities (Central). The Facilities Coordinator will support the Facilities Management Team in the delivery of efficient and effective operational services provided by Facilities, within the locality concentrating mostly on Portering Services.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is a key member of the Facilities team. They will authorise annual leave of Porters, complete digital rosters, raise purchase orders, deal with the Portering Service vehicles, Medical Cylinder deliveries and stock checks, etc. as well as deal with daily operational issues. They will also be required to provide support in the development of service improvements and assist with or undertake specific tasks/projects as required.
They will participate in the local induction of new staff members and record accordingly. Act as a mentor for operational staff, providing in-house training and assessing competence where appropriate. Maintain records of training and development.
Undertake staff appraisals for operational staff. Assess any training or development requirements highlighted during the assessments and report to the Facilities Management Team. Assist in all elements of management of staff, e.g. sickness absence meetings, recruitment, Respect & Resolution.
Monitor the conduct of staff under area of responsibility during the course of their duties in line with BCUHB policies and procedures, advising staff when their conduct falls outside of expected standards and escalating if improvements are not achieved. Regularly use computer software to produce rotas, Personal Development Reviews, etc. and to ensure all records are accurate, up to date and comply with the Data Protection Act.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the new Pharmacy Clinical Trials team at Glan Clwyd Hospital as a Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician. Working within a supportive and forward-thinking team, you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused service supporting innovative research across North Wales.
The role will involve working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and research teams, supporting clinical trials across a range of specialties including oncology and haematology. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills in clinical trials and build experience within a growing and evolving service.
Main duties of the job
You will support the day-to-day delivery of the clinical trials pharmacy service, including dispensing and checking clinical trial prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safe storage and handling of investigational medicinal products in line with Good Clinical Practice and departmental procedures. You will assist with ordering, stock control, temperature monitoring, and maintenance of trial documentation, ensuring all records meet regulatory requirements.
The role requires strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to manage workload in a busy environment. You will work both independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with pharmacy, clinical, and research staff. You will also contribute to training, service improvement, and audit activities, with support to develop your skills and knowledge within this specialist area.

Job summary
The opportunity has arisen to recruit a Driver to join our friendly and welcoming team for Stores and Transport at Penn Hospital in Wolverhampton and Pear Tree Lane in Dudley.
A full clean driving license is required. Must be able to drive a range of different vehicles and be able to maneuver cages of goods in all areas and environments so a clear understanding and experience in manual handling is a must.
This part time post will consist of working Thursday, Friday and every Saturday and Sunday, though you must be flexible with the shifts and able to travel to other areas if required.
Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task, be flexible in their approach and be reactive to changing service need. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good standard of education, proven keyboard skills, enjoy team working and have previous experience in a customer-focused environment.

Main duties of the job
Delivery and collection of medical records/internal/external post and a range of samples from around sites within the Trust throughout the day keeping to set times.
Follow written instructions and complete jobs to assist Staff in the trust e.g.:
- Trust office moves within the same building or from site to site
- Setting up meeting rooms
- Delivering catering items, Buffets etc.
- Removing and disposing of old electrical equipment
- Carry out daily vehicle checks Oil, Water, and Tyre Pressure/Wash and clean inside/out on a weekly basis.
- To assist within the Stores as and when required, involving manual handling of goods inwards/outwards.
- To attend Workshops and on-going PDP
- Be prepared to obtain relevant qualifications as and when needed.
- Identify training opportunities for own role and for Monitoring Officers.
- Continuity research journals, websites, networking or other means to keep abreast of developments.
- Organise and maintain appropriate filing systems, manual and electronic to ensure ease of access.
- Maunal handling of various cages including Goods and Linen Deliveries to sites across the trust.
