Main duties of the job
As a maternity locum GP you will provide cover for a salaried GP while on maternity leave, managing a caseload and dealing with a wide variety of health needs in a primary care setting working individually and as a team to ensure a high standard of care for all registered and temporary patients as you carry out the associated clinical and administrative duties.

Job summary
Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) is a technical engineering consultancy and manufacturing service, provided as part of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Aids for Living (REAL) unit, within Northern Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering (NMPCE).
he service offers 2D and 3D design facilities, coupled with manufacturing capability in support of a number of Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals clinical services and other internal and external stakeholders. There is a significant amount of collaboration with the Regional Technical Aids Service (RTAS), in delivering bespoke equipment solutions to suit the needs of individuals living with complex disabilities.
The Clinical Technologist's role incorporates the design, manufacture and installation of mechanical solutions for service users, working closely with partner services, especially those providing assistive aids and wheelchairs to patients.
Activities include the modification of, or the initial manufacture of items to customer specification, research support, prototyping and production of single items, or small batches utilising the latest technologies and materials.

Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified, capable and motivated engineer or technologist, to join the team based at the Freeman Hospital, to support the delivery of our services, which include assessment of need, problem solving, risk analysis, design, manufacture and documentation.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in an engineering or science-related subject or equivalent (e.g. a HNC or HND qualification with in-depth, relevant experience), with specialist knowledge of engineering design, materials and manufacture, including a proficiency in milling and turning, utilising both manual and CNC machine tools. Experience of fabrication and TIG welding is desirable, although training provision is available to the successful candidate if required.
In addition, if not already registered or eligible for registration, the post holder will be required to complete the IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme, resulting in professional registration as a Clinical Technologist with either the RCT or AHCS, with training available to support achievement.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, requiring excellent technical awareness, communication, planning, organisational and interpersonal skills. Experience in the application of a range of IT packages (Microsoft Office, Databases, 2D / 3D CAD Modelling) is essential, as is a full valid UK driving licence, as regular region wide travel is a remit of the role.

Specialty Doctor in Community Paediatrics
This is an exciting opportunity to join Community Paediatrics at Kaleidoscope, Lewisham, at a time of change and transformation. You will be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary service working closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Allied Health Professionals supporting children and young people with developmental, neurodevelopmental, complex health and safeguarding needs. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues, develop specialist community paediatric skills, and contribute to service redesign, quality improvement and more joined-up models of care. Kaleidoscope is an award-winning centre for children and young people in the heart of Lewisham, bringing together community paediatrics, therapies, nursing, mental health, education and social care services for children aged 0-19. Our integrated, multidisciplinary model enables families to access coordinated support from multiple professionals in one place, reducing the need for appointments across different sites.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as a Specialty Doctor within Community Paediatrics at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, integrated care for children and young people across community settings, including Kaleidoscope.
The role encompasses the assessment, diagnosis and ongoing management of children and young people with developmental disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, complex health needs, and safeguarding concerns. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary and multiagency environment, contributing to holistic care planning alongside health, education and social care partners.
The post holder will participate in clinical and service activities to ensure a high standard of patient care, with opportunities to develop specialist skills within community paediatrics. They will provide care under appropriate consultant supervision while developing increasing clinical autonomy, and will contribute to service development, quality improvement and integrated models of care across the Trust.

Job summary
Teign Ward is a 12 bedded female blended inpatient ward with Medium and Low Secure service users. The Charge Nurse role is a key member of the in-patient multidisciplinary team. Charge Nurses are expected to provide clear clinical leadership and supervision of junior staff and trainees whilst working with service users and their families, friends and carers to help make a difference to the experience of those using our services by:

Main duties of the job
The key role of the successful candidate will be to undertake the Pre-assessment of elective patients awaiting surgery under general anaesthetic using specialised history taking and clinical skills following agreed protocols and procedures.

Ridgeway View Family Practice is a ~15,000 patient, busy General Practice surgery based across two sites in Wroughton and Chiseldon.

Job summary
Role Purpose
To undertake high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and/or adults. Depending on the specific clinical pathway (e.g, ADHD vs. Autism/combined assessments), the postholder will formulate clinical outcomes either as an autonomous single clinician or collaboratively as part of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work in accordance with professional standards, Oakdale policies, and service requirements, supporting the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of neurodevelopmental services. Clinical duties and the level of independent practice permitted are strictly governed by the postholders formal progression and sign-off through the Oakdale Clinical Development Framework, working under direct clinical supervision until independent competency has been successfully demonstrated and documented.

Alexander Devine Childrens Hospice Service (Alexander Devine) is a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and into surrounding counties.
We individualise our approach to meet the unique clinical, emotional and practical needs of each child and their family, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
