Duties and Responsibilities - Assisting nurses with comprehensive pre-operative assessments. - Carrying out routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patients' health and wellbeing. - Updating patient records accurately and maintaining high standards of documentation. - Ensuring medical questionnaires and associated documentation are completed. - Booking appointments and coordinating further tests when required. - Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection procedures. - Supporting patients who may feel anxious about upcoming surgery. - Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver an excellent patient experience. If you are passionate about podiatry and want to provide a quality service for the high risk patients of Bolton, we are looking to welcome you into our integrated specialist podiatry team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for treatment planning and management of foot complications associated with e.g. diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and vascular / ischaemic long-term conditions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are registered with the NMC within our new Specialist Outreach Psychosis Service within the Borough of Ealing. Ealing is mobilising these new services bringing together the existing Community Rehabilitation teams alongside new investment to develop an assertive outreach pathway for service users with complex psychosis who need an assertive approach to engagement as part of their clinical presentation to provide care, treatment and support.
Successful candidates will show knowledge and experience of the clinical processes and treatments that support the care of people experiencing psychosis with complex needs. They will also demonstrate experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team setting; taking responsibility for assessing need and setting up robust care plans to support service user recovery. They will be able to take a flexible, robust and persistent approach to working alongside service users and their support networks to deliver care and get the greatest benefit from treatment.
Experience of working with complex mental health needs and high risk clients is essential as well as strong skills in risk assessment, care planning and crisis management. Experience of community based and outreach working is also essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working in a Specialist Outreach Psychosis Service within the Assertive Outreach Pathway, taking responsibility to assessing, planning and coordinating the care plan and treatment of a defined caseload of service users with complex needs related to psychotic illnesses who are difficult to engage.
The Specialist Outreach Psychosis Service is a multidisciplinary, community-based service responsible for providing on-going holistic assessments, treatment and support to clients with severe and enduring mental illness living in the community. The service will enable patients with severe mental health problems to be supported and cared for in the community in the least restrictive setting through an assertive, personalised and integrated approach to care and treatment.
The service will provide an intensive community-based mental health service delivered in service users' home environments, in the community and in supported living accommodation or other locations agreed with the service user utilising "A whole system approach" to recovery from mental ill health. The approach aims to maximise an individual's quality of life and address social inclusion by supporting engagement, encouraging their skills, promoting independence and autonomy in order to give them hope for the future which leads to successful community living through appropriate support.

Maintenance Technician (Multi-skilled (Mechanical & Plumbing Bias) Band 5 - 37.5 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Estates team at Stepping Hill Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated, appropriately skilled, reliable and enthusiastic Plumber/Mechanical Engineer that is able to work well under pressure to carry out plumbing/mechanical maintenance within a hospital environment.
The successful applicant will have a recognized apprenticeship and hold a City & Guilds Certificate or equivalent NVQ qualifications. The post holder will be required to undertake rostered overtime.
Main duties of the job
The post is at Stepping Hill Hospital but you may be asked to work at other sites within the Trust. Experience working in an Acute Hospital maintenance environment would be an advantage, as would familiarity with large commercial/industrial estates. You will be part of a multi trade team delivering a quality service to support patient services within the Trust.
There will be a requirement to work overtime; both rostered and ad-hoc; at short notice as required to meet the needs of the Trust and its healthcare environment. There will also be a need to form part of the on-call response team to assist our out of hours staff where required.

An opening has arisen for a time served multi-skilled technician to join the on-site maintenance team at Stepping Hill hospital.
The post holder will have operational maintenance duties including both reactive and planned maintenance to the electrical distribution and systems across the Trust's premises including specialist healthcare systems such as IPS and UPS.
You will have responsibility for systems and equipment such as the Nurse Call, Lifts, BMS and Pneumatic Tube System this will include some basic mechanical work.
The post holder will have a recognised electrical based apprenticeship, including City and Guilds and NVQ level 3 qualifications. Additional experience of Building management systems, mechanical systems including steam raising and pressure systems will be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills possessing the ability to work both as an individual using their own initiative and as part of a multi discipline team to deliver a safe and effective maintenance solution.
There will be a requirement to work overtime; both rostered and ad-hoc; to meet the needs of the Trust and its healthcare environment. There will also be a need to form part of the on-call response team to assist our out of hours staff where required.
Main duties of the job

There will be a requirement to travel to clinics and patients within the Community, therefore a valid driving licence and access to transport is essential.
To apply you will need to have a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC or an undergraduate student nearing course completion (within the next 2 months). It is also open to those returning to practice.
Flexible working is possible. Weekend and evening working may be required as per the demands of the service.

The Post Graduate Physiotherapist Rotational Scheme offers a broad base of clinical experience. Staff on the Rotation will be expected to work at any of the services on the scheme.

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join the practice development team as a Clinical Educators. This role will include mandatory and essential to role training, service activity, preceptorship programmes and clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures and national guidelines. - Offer clinical and pastoral support to newly qualified midwives.
