We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitionerto join ourPrimary Careteam atHMP Wymott, a category CPrison located inLeyland, Lancashire. The site houses around 1200 male patients aged 18+, with a high proportion of these being elderly patients with complex and long term conditions.
You will be joining an established multidisciplinary team and will take an active role in local meds management meetings and segregation rounds as well as clinical sessions.

Mon, Wed,Thurs & Fri: 08:00 - 16:30 / 09:00 - 17:30
This position is part time role working 32 hours per week
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary between£103,600 and £124,320FTEper annum- depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
Our General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community, as a General Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.

- MBChB or MBBS
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List

Main duties of the job

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking to appoint five substantive Consultant Gastroenterologists to join our ambitious and expanding Gastroenterology service across our two acute hospital sites.
These appointments reflect significant investment in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy services, including growth in Consultant workforce, expansion of endoscopy capacity, and continued development of high quality patient pathways across the Trust.
Post Opportunities
Appointments will include:
- Five Consultant posts at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust
Five Consultant posts across Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, with three posts expected to be primarily aligned to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and two primarily aligned to University Hospital Lewisham, subject to service need.
Main duties of the job
To undertake high quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy.
To participate in the provision of a high quality out-patient Gastroenterology service,including patient administration
To manage Gastroenterology in-patients
To have a specialist interest which may include ERCP, nutrition, hepatology (including viral hepatitis), small bowel / capsule endoscopy, interventional / specialist endoscopic techniques.
The post-holders will attend the weekly multidisciplinary meetings and weekly governance meetings.
Active participation in the management and development of the specialty and the introduction of new service,

a. Clinical Responsibilities
The successful applicant will undertake two gastroenterology clinics with a general profile of 12 slots (5 new and 7 follow ups) and two endoscopy sessions consisting of 12 points per AM list and 10 points per PM list. There will also be involvement in the management of in-patients and a daily rounds of the gastroenterology patients when on the wards (shared between consultants).

The successful applicant will undertake two gastroenterology clinics with a general profile of 12 slots (5 new and 7 follow ups) and two endoscopy sessions consisting of 12 points per AM list and 10 points per PM list. There will also be involvement in the management of in-patients and a daily rounds of the gastroenterology patients when on the wards (shared between consultants).
The main duties and responsibilities of the post include: -
To undertake high quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy
To participate in the provision of a high quality out-patient Gastroenterology service, including patient administration

Breast Care Nurse - 22.50 hours per week (3 days per week)
The post holder will deliver a high standard of specialist nursing care within the Breast Service and will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to ensure excellence in care for all patients within the specialty. The role will involve both unit-based and clinic-based working.
The post holder will support the CNS by providing professional advice to members of the multidisciplinary team and contributing to the development of staff knowledge and skills. This will help ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of agreed specialty performance targets.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be based within the unit and department, working closely with staff as a positive role model. They will deliver high-quality clinical care and maintain regular liaison with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Lead Nurse to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care.
The role includes management of a defined patient caseload across both the inpatient unit and outpatient department (OPD).
The post holder will attend and contribute to independent, nurse-led pre-operative assessment clinics and, in line with agreed competencies, breast guidelines, and under the remit of the CNS, will obtain consent from patients undergoing breast surgery. This will include providing expert advice and information on breast reconstruction options and facilitating referrals to Plastic Surgery services where appropriate.
The post holder will actively participate in the MDT discharge programme, ensuring patients are discharged safely and appropriately in accordance with agreed criteria, assessments, and outcome measures.
Close liaison with the wider multidisciplinary team and Oncology Services will be required to support coordinated care throughout the patient pathway.

Job summary
The Urology Nurse Practitioner's main aim is to provide specialist advice and clinical practice to patients within the urological outpatient setting and enabling optimum quality of life.

Main duties of the job

- To manage a caseload of patients requiring intravesical chemotherapy, including administration, assessment and follow up in accordance with COSSH and Local Guidelines.
- To offer support, counselling, and follow-up to patients awaiting results and those newly diagnosed with urological cancer including communicating highly sensitive information to patients and their carers.

The Urology Outpatient service sees both cancer and benign patients in the outpatient setting, running nurse and consultant led procedure and investigation clinics daily. We offer support and advice to patients and other professionals within the acute and community setting and work alongside other departments to enhance the patient's pathway of care.

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Band 6 nurses to start or continue developing their clinical research skills. Previous experience of clinical research projects and SACT competency is desirable. You will need to be a team player and effective at managing your own time.
The role is a combination of clinical and research responsibilities delivered within a diverse research portfolio. You will be a point of contact for study principal investigators, sponsors and patients. This means effective communication and team working skills are essential.
To meet the needs of the service you will be required to work at two of our Units - the Guy's Phase I Unit and the St. Thomas' Research Facility.
Your work patterns will be agreed with your Line Manager. You will be expected to work the shift patterns necessary to ensure patient safety and delivery of clinical trials. Work patterns will include mostly day shifts, with occasional early/late shifts, and some nights and weekends as required.
Main duties of the job
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate expert research nursing care and provide support to patients attending the Department who have been or have the potential to be recruited onto a clinical trial programme. The Research Nurse will play a key role in ensuring that any research undertaken within the department safeguards the well being of the patients and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006. In conjunction with the other members of the team, facilitate the production of good quality of research.
The research nurse will facilitate and aid in the recruitment of patients to ensure high quality clinical studies and trials which will require the nurse to work flexibly across the disciplines to ensure the successful working of the clinical research facility. They will also act as a patient advocate providing support and assistance as required and assist in the co-ordination and management of a portfolio of early phase translational clinical research.
The post holder will take responsibility for supervising the safe administration of experimental therapies, and for monitoring the expected and unexpected side effects of drugs and other treatment modalities used in these trials.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work in the Main X-ray Department of Torbay Hospital. Academic work is largely via distance learning, though there will be attendance at the University a number of times throughout the 3-year training course. The practical training will initially focus on Plain Film, but will include other areas such as CT and MRI.
As a trainee, you will join 2 existing Apprentices and work alongside Student Radiographers who are on the traditional BSc Degree course, also via Exeter University. Practical training is provided by TSDFT Radiographers who have been enthusiastically and successfully supporting such training for many years.

Responsibilities of this role will include reception duties, administration and clerical support for the scheduling of patients requiring diagnostic tests across a number of different clinical areas within Imaging, e.g. X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Density.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our MSK out patient team as a static Band 5 Physiotherapy based at Queen's Hospital Burton.
The post holder will work in MSK which involves working in a range of conditions in upper quadrant, lower quadrant and spinal conditions as determined by the needs of the physiotherapy service. This is across the outpatient setting including primary and secondary care referrals for adults and paediatrics.
The post holder will perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver and individualised treatment programme.
You will be required to work as part of the Respiratory on-call service following an induction programme. The out-patient service runs from Monday through to Friday with varied shift patterns. The service runs to 7pm on three days a week.
Main duties of the job
Opportunities will MSK Outpatients.
- To assess and treat own patient caseload, and maintain associated records.
- To perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
- To hold responsibility for own caseload, working without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences. Access to advice and support from a senior physiotherapist.

The postholder will act as a senior clinical specialist of the Pre-Treatment area in the Radiotherapy Service, supervising the daily running of the designated area: managing and co-ordinating workload & staffing.

Job summary
We require an organised and flexible individual to support reception duties within the Elective hub at the Royal Derby Hospital. This is a part time role, Wednesday - Friday 7am - 6pm.
You will be the first point of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors, delivering a courteous, compassionate, and efficient service within a busy and sometimes challenging environment.
Key responsibilities include patient registration, maintaining accurate records, responding to telephone and face-to-face enquiries and supporting clinical staff.
The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Visits to the department are welcomed.
Main duties of the job
- You should have the ability to interact with patients and staff on a daily basis in an efficient and friendly way and stay calm in any situation.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the correct information is recorded using a variety of IT systems, whilst dealing with a variety of queries.
- You must be motivated, have good communication, inter-personal and administration skills
- Maintaining a warm and welcoming reception area for patients.
- Using your initiative.
- Ability to multitask and think on your feet.
- Ability to use multiple computer systems.
- Liaising with patients, relatives and wider teams via telephone, email and face to face.
- Maintaining patient records, filing and scanning notes.
