Job summary
Are you passionate about helping people reconnect with their communities, build confidence and move forward in their recovery?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team and work alongside the team Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. You will support service users, primarily through individual work, to identify and pursue meaningful community activities, strengthen social connections and promote independence and inclusion.
Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver practical, recovery-focused support and contribute to both core interventions and the wider occupational therapy group programme. This may include psychoeducation, safety planning, problem-solving, supported self-management and employment-focused support.
You will be based within the Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorder and Trauma (ADAPT) service--a dynamic, fast-paced team focused on delivering effective brief interventions. This varied role offers the opportunity to develop your skills, work collaboratively and contribute to high-quality care. To meet service needs, you may occasionally be asked to support other occupational therapy service areas.
*** Important Sponsorship Information for this post: We are currently unable to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this post ***
