We are seeking a friendly, organized, and energetic Part Time Evening Receptionist to join our team! This will be a key holder position. The hours are Monday - Friday 1pm - 7pm. This vital role ensures smooth front desk operations during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression.

- Manage front desk operations, including checking in patients and handling inquiries.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using computer skills, including updating records in Emis Web, Microsoft Office, DocMan and Excel.
- Maintain organized files, schedules, and surgery supplies to support daily operations.
- Assist with administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and basic clerical support.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times.

Job summary
This is a strategic professional and clinical leadership role operating at a senior level in the Trust. The post holder will possess a highly developed specialist clinical knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience acquired through a degree in paramedic science (or equivalent), supplemented by specialist clinical, educational, or leadership training to masters or equivalent experience. They will be accountable for the direct development and delivery of clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the highest clinical standards, ensuring best practice evidence is used to inform practice.
Main duties of the job
Playing a lead role in developing and maintaining clinical practice standards in all cases of undifferentiated emergency care, the post holder will have specific responsibility for developing and implementing improvements in resuscitation, paediatrics, maternity, and trauma care, working closely with other professional and service leads. They will foster a culture of clinical excellence, developing and assuring clinical standards across all allied health profession service lines. The post holder will be accountable for clinical practice standards and guidelines across all service lines for paramedic and non-registered staff.

Pilgrims Hospice provides expert palliative care to the people of East Kent. We have three in patient units at Ashford, Canterbury and Margate where our three multi-disciplinary community teams are based as well as our therapy centres.
An opportunity has arisen in our medical team and Pilgrims is inviting applications for interested physicians. This would be ideal for experienced doctors thinking of a change in career, doctors with a view to building a career in this speciality or have a wealth of experience within palliative medicine.
We have an active educational programme and as a training unit for specialist and general practice trainees can offer some excellent opportunities to develop skills and gain experience.
The post will be based at Ashford but flexibility on sites can be considered. This post is available from 2nd January 2026, subject to pre-employment checks and is part time 7 sessions a week (3 full days plus 4 sessions a month dedicated to education and research). Requests for full time employment will be considered.
Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical care and medical input to the multidisciplinary team for patients under the care of the Pilgrims Hospice, under the supervision of the named consultant (including hospice inpatients, community patients, outpatients, domiciliary visiting and patients attending Pilgrims Therapy Centre).
- To participate in the teaching, supervision and training of medical trainees and other professional staff working at the Pilgrims Hospice or attending courses run by the Pilgrims Hospices.
- To maintain a full programme of personal CPD in line with current recommendations. Please refer to the Hospice study leave policy
- To participate in annual appraisal and to work to the stated strategic direction and objectives of Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent.

This role as a band 3 Health care assistant offers lifestyle flexibility as part of the evening team working 18:30-23:30 There are 15 hours available working 3 shifts a week.Although the team is a countywide team with a central base in Droitwich, there are several satellite bases across the county. The Team visits patients in their own home and support them in remaining at home and preventing admission to hospital and also supporting early discharge from hospital.

Main duties of the job
As an HCA on the evening team you will be allocated via our electronic system onto a handheld tablet, patients to visit in their own homes, primarily across the North of the county. These would normally be within a geographic area, but some flexibility is expected to cover patients countywide. The role of the HCA is varied, in supporting patients in their own home with personal care, mobility, and simple wound care and catheter care. All appropriate training will be provided as part of the induction process. You will work independently but also as part of a team, with some visits requiring 2 members of staff. You will be supported during the shift by a senior nurse on triage.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking GP surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within our multidisciplinary team, providing expert medicines optimisation, supporting patient care, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality primary care services.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Pharmacist acts within their professional boundaries, working alongside a team of pharmacists in general practice within the wider PCN.
They will improve patients health outcomes and the efficiency of the primary care team by providing direct, accessible and timely medicines and expertise including face to face contact with patients.
The post-holder will be an integral part of the general practice team, as well as part of a wider pharmacist network and multi-disciplinary team. As part of their employment, the post-holder will achieve qualifications from an accredited training pathway, including independent prescribing, equipping the Clinical Pharmacist to be able to practice and prescribe safely and effectively in a primary care setting.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team providing clerical support and appointment bookings for the Radiology department based in Glangwili Hospital.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced innovative and motivated Mental Health/Learning Disability/General Nurse to join our evolving Reconnect Service.
This role involves working as a member of the Nottinghamshire Reconnect service in collaboration with Criminal Justice agencies, social care, primary and secondary health services and third sector agencies.
The Reconnect Service work with people with health and/or social vulnerabilities i.e. learning disability, mental health needs, substance misuse, domestic violence problems, homelessness and other vulnerabilities. Needs identified at assessment are met through supporting individuals to access relevant services, as early as possible, as they pass through the criminal justice systems and return to the Community from Prison Establishments.

Main duties of the job
The Reconnect Service provide an all-vulnerability service to improve health and social outcomes for adults who are in Prison and due to be released into the community, ensuring robust assessment of vulnerabilities and risk and positive engagement with good information sharing across agencies.
You will work into Prison establishments, Probation offices and NHS Bases across the Nottingham/Nottinghamshire area. The Cellular Pathology department has a vacancy for experienced BMS in the Histology section at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust based at the Whiteknights campus at the University of Reading.
Applicants for this post must be well-motivated HPC registered Biomedical Scientist and have a minimum of two years' post registration experience or equivalent. Specialist portfolio required or started.
We are looking for an experienced, competent and versatile individual with proven experience in Immunohistochemistry, frozen sections and all aspects of routine Histology. Experience in specimen dissection would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given.
Applicants will be required to undertake a practical test as part of interview process.
We are an IBMS accredited training laboratory and support training for Specialist portfolio if started will be given.
The post is full-time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (the department is about to undergo consultation for extended day/weekends in a shift pattern and would be an expectation to participate for the successful candidate).
There will be a practical element required at interview so all candidates must be able to attend face-to-face (Teams interviews will not be considered).
Main duties of the job
Provide complex and sensitive information, in the form of test results, to clinicians, nursing staff and appropriate others, overcoming any barriers to understanding and ensuring that due regard has been given to the significance and urgency of such results.
Transmit highly complex information to colleagues, including less experienced staff & staff undergoing training, in order to ensure an understanding of all techniques employed and the highly complex equipment used in the analysis of Pathological samples.

This is a busy department, having merged with Wexham Park Hospital histology department into a facility located at Harborne House, White knights campus, University of Reading.
