Job summary
We're looking for a highly motivated Consultant Haematologist to join our friendly and dynamic department at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire Group.
You'll work alongside four experienced Consultant Haematologists to deliver comprehensive general and BSH Level 2b Haemato-oncology care, covering a broad spectrum of malignant and non-malignant haematology. This is a replacement post offering the chance to take ownership of specialist interests such as lymphoma, leukaemia, coagulation, or haemostasis.
Working alongside four Consultant Haematologists, you will provide consultant-led care across malignant and non-malignant haematology in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Opportunities exist to develop specialist interests including:

- Other areas aligned to service needs and personal expertise
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including consultant colleagues, specialist nurses, pharmacists, laboratory staff, allied health professionals and administrative teams.

Main duties of the job
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, consultant-led Haematology services for both inpatients and outpatients across North Northamptonshire and neighbouring regions. Working within an integrated MDT framework, you will:
- Provide expert care across general and malignant Haematology, including Haemato-oncology, coagulation, and transfusion services
- Participate in the 1:4 consultant on-call rota, with appropriate middle-grade support
- Lead and contribute to outpatient clinics, ward rounds, bone marrow lists, and the Haematology MDT
- Offer clinical advice and interpretation of Haematology investigations to medical colleagues across the Trust and in primary care
- Take an active role in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with opportunities for involvement in research and clinical trials
- Participate in service development, bringing forward ideas for innovation and pathway improvement

An exciting opportunity has a risen to join a new Treating Tobacco Dependency Service offering specialist support to patients admitted to our inpatients sites across LSCft. This service is key to delivering the ambitions of the NHS long term plan to provide treatment for tobacco dependency for all patients admitted to hospital, making a significant contribution to public health and reducing health inequalities.
This post is to cover Lancashire and South Cumbria, and the base will be confirmed with the successful applicant. Tobacco addiction is a chronic relapsing disease and the single biggest cause of preventable death, disability, illness and social inequality. One in two smokers die due to their smoking. People with mental health condition have higher rates of mortality compared to the general population and smoking is the single most contributing factor to their 10-20 year reduction in life expectancy.

This post will involve working directly with patients to assess their needs related to tobacco dependency and to work with them to identify treatment and specialist support to enable them make a successful quit attempt. Support may be face to face, remote consultation or via telephone. We are looking for team members who are motivated, organised and dynamic who are passionate about supporting care and improving lives through engaging, motivating patients to stop smoking.
This is a role is diverse and will offer the opportunity to visits sites with the LSCft to deliver smoking cessation , deliver and training and to support the implementation of the Trust Tobacco Smoke Free Policy.
This post will require strong communication skills, teamwork and flexibility to ensure the service can provide a high quality service supporting patients across a variety of sites within Lancashire and South Cumbria.

The primary role of this post is to lead and provide a comprehensive, high quality clinical pharmacy services to Women's Health and Maternity Services at the Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our translational research depression clinic, supporting the delivery of research studies and helping to develop new approaches to the assessment and treatment of people experiencing depression.

The role offers opportunities to develop your research skills, contribute to publications and presentations, and gain valuable experience in clinical research and Good Clinical Practice.
With strong clinical and academic support, this one-year opportunity is ideal for a motivated doctor looking to build experience in research alongside their clinical career.
Main duties of the job
You will support the delivery of clinical research across Devon Partnership NHS Trust, with a particular focus on mood disorders and our translational depression clinic.
Key responsibilities include supporting participant recruitment and follow-up, contributing to clinical assessments, data collection and analysis, and helping to deliver research projects to Good Clinical Practice standards.
You will work closely with clinical teams, the Research & Development team and academic partners, with opportunities to contribute to audit, quality improvement, conference presentations and academic publications.
The role is supported by experienced research and clinical colleagues, with administrative support from the R&D team. You will also have opportunities to become involved in wider mood disorder research and developing research activity across the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 36 for a Health Care Assistant to join the renal dialysis nursing team at Arrowe Park Hospital.
We are a busy unit providing outpatient and inpatient haemodialysis for around 90 patients, over 3 shifts, 6 days a week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a Delivery Suite Co-ordinator to join the Maternity Team at Wirral Women and Children's Hospital.
Wirral Women and Children's Hospital provides care for approximately 3,300 low and high-risk women per year, encompassed within the unit is a Level 3 Unit for Neonatal Services, Children's Services and Women's Unit.

Main duties of the job
The Delivery Suite Co-ordinator will become part of an established team of Band 7 midwives.
Their role includes shift leading on the main Delivery Suite area, the alongside Midwifery Led Unit (Eden Suite), the Induction of Labour bay (Harmony Suite) and Maternity Triage or working in the midwifery numbers on the delivery suite on a shift by shift basis.
The successful candidate will work leading teams of rotational midwives and support staff that work across the maternity unit each shift, working closely with the multidisciplinary teams across maternity to provide safe, high quality care.
You will work closely with the Delivery Suite Manager to provide management support for the effective running of the Delivery Suite and providing leadership and clinical care in Maternity Triage.
Out of hours the Co-ordinator will hold the maternity bleep and manage unit acuity and staffing across maternity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist with an interest in respiratory care to join our expanding respiratory service within Frimley Health, based at King Edward VII Hospital, covering East Berkshire.
You will deliver specialist, patient-centred respiratory care as part of a multidisciplinary team including Respiratory Consultants, Physiotherapists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, HCAs and Therapy Support Workers. This demanding yet rewarding role offers varied experience to develop your clinical skills and professional portfolio.
The post holder will assess and manage patients with respiratory conditions including COPD, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease, Asthma and those requiring oxygen therapy. You will support holistic assessment, care planning and delivery of individualised treatment across hospital and community settings.
You will work with GPs, Urgent Care Teams, Community Nurses and Palliative Care Services to ensure integrated care pathways.
The service operates predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with future plans for a 7-day service. A comprehensive induction and strong support for ongoing learning and development are provided. You will be joining organisations rated 'Good' and 'Outstanding' by the CQC.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our busy Endoscopy Team. Experience of working in Endoscopy is desirable but not essential.
The Unit is a modern, well equipped, 7 room, JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit. A capital build to improve on existing facilities was completed in September 2014. Our Endoscopy Unit performs in excess of 17,000 procedures per annum across a full range of gastrointestinal and respiratory endoscopy.
The successful candidate will support the Consultant Gastroenterologists, Consultant Surgeons and our team of nurse endoscopists to provide safe care and treatment for patients during their time on the Unit.
This will involve assisting the endoscopist during endoscopic procedures and caring for patients before, during and after their procedures.
The Unit operates across 6 days a week including Bank Holidays (Excluding Christmas Day) Shifts are based between the hours of 8am-7pm. Saturdays/Bank holidays are rostered with a day off in lieu.
Main duties of the job
- Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of the nursing care for a named caseload of patients, including their property and valuables

We are looking for a dedicated Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join our team on the Childrens Ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 19 to join the senior nursing team, as we will be extending to 28 medical beds as we head into the winter period.
Within ward 19, we work closely as a multidisciplinary team to provide care and support to our patients who experience a diverse range of medical conditions. - Deliver general and specialist foot health advice, including carrying out regular nail surgery sessions on a rotational basis.
