Main duties of the job
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will: Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns. Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures) Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines. Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition. Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery. Take charge of a theatre, co-ordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.

We wish to appoint 1 Senior Clinical fellow at ST/CT 3-8 in Acute Medicine on a 12-month contract. The post is based in the Acute Medicine department at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and is a new post that we are looking to place within our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit and Acute Medicine Assessment Unit. The post has a potential negotiable on-call commitment, at the same frequency as the other SpRs.
The Acute Medicine Team covers 34 in-patient beds across an Acute Medicine Assessment unit and Medical SDEC unit which is comprised of a 30 person waiting room and 10 cubicles within our treatment area. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bereavement team at Basildon Hospital.
You will work with all grades of staff to assist in the smooth running of the bereavement office in accordance with national and hospital guidelines for the care of the bereaved.

The organisation is currently working in collaboration with NHSBT to implement a Corneal Donation Service, working across 7 days. This will ensure patient choices and decisions at the end of life are facilitated.
We are looking for a person with previous experience working in bereavement or similar discipline and is receptive to weekend working. You must possess emotional resilience, be receptive to change and with the drive and commitment to assist in the delivery of an excellent MSE bereavement service.
Main duties of the job
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the office and provide guidance to those using the service.
- Undertake all administrative duties associated with the service, under direction of the Lead Bereavement Officer.
- Liaise with medical staff with regard to the completion of cause of death certificates and cremation papers.
- Maintain accurate and concise record of the deceased patient, using the team's electronic database - Eden.
- Liaise with ward staff and teams in the event of any issues arising regarding patient property and medical case notes.
- Maintain accurate and concise records of patient's death and to ensure that all relevant health care agencies receive accurate and prompt notification of the patient's death.

We are looking for a Locum Consultant Urological Surgeons here at at MSE Hospitals with Broomfield Hospital as the base site. Our Urology Service has been given the exciting opportunity to expand across all three sites and support our growth in referrals and build on our fantastic team. Consultant to be confident to carry out general urology duties and with an interest to complement the department, such as management of superficial bladder cancer, management of superficial bladder cancer or paediatric Urology.
The purpose of this post is to provide and co-ordinate an effective general urology service and to develop a sub-specialty interest that complements the department. They are also expected to take part in all departmental activities, including on-call, audit and teaching.
Essex's first medical school opened in Chelmsford at Anglia Ruskin University in 2018. The Trust therefore has redoubled its focus on education, as the students are now undergoing clinical rotations at the Trust's sites. The role of Specialty Training Programme Director for General Surgery within the South West School of Surgery will work with and support the Head of School for Surgery in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned to the NHS England mandate and long-term workforce plan.

This position is central to the implementation of innovative Rapid Diagnostic Pathways for patients with suspected cancer, supporting earlier identification, faster diagnosis and improved patient outcomes. Based at Basildon Hospital, you will help deliver nationally recognised best practice by coordinating integrated cancer pathways across a range of tumour sites.

Main duties of the job
To be a single point of contact for patients throughout their diagnostic journey, alongside access to the right information, support and advice.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a busy team delivering Radiology Services to people within Essex and surrounding areas. The role is varied and involves being the first point of contact for people wanting to access our services. So, an excellent interpersonal manner is essential.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to be part of the admin team providing a full range of administrative support including bookings clerk and reception duties. The post holder needs to be an excellent team player with excellent organisational skills. Experience of working within a hospital environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
The role will involve being the access point for patients into the service. The ability to maintain an accurate computer appointment system for patients is key.
You will be working alongside other administrative staff in the role. Full training and support / supervision will be provided.
The job role is 37.5 hours per week, x4 days per week., normal working hours are 8-6pm or 10am - 8pm. Some services run 7.30am - 7.30pm therefore some late working will be necessary. You will be expected to work weekends on a rostered basis. Some shifts are 12 hours in duration. The job role is based at Broomfield Hospital although working at sites including Braintree and Maldon is also necessary.

The Radiology Admin Team consists of approximately 35 - 40 staff. We are an extremely busy department, covering a variety of different reception areas, appointments office and occasionally working across sites. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of the MHRA's Beyond ADMET: AI for Medicines Safety regulatory sandbox. This strategic regulatory science initiative will explore how artificial intelligence can improve the prediction of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity (ADMET) outcomes and integrate clinical and real-world data to support safer, faster and more efficient medicines development, ultimately strengthening patient safety.
Reporting to the Deputy Direct of Benefit Risk Evaluation I, the postholder will provide overall leadership for the programme, including its strategic vision, scientific direction and delivery priorities. The role requires a leader who can operate at the intersection of regulatory science, artificial intelligence, medicines development and patient safety, bringing together expertise from across the MHRA, academia, industry, government and the wider healthcare ecosystem.
The Head, AI for Medicine Safety will be accountable for ensuring that programme activities are scientifically and technically robust, and aligned with the MHRA strategic objectives.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will act as the senior ambassador for the programme, building partnerships nationally and internationally, influencing emerging regulatory thinking, and helping position the MHRA as a global leader in AI-enabled regulation and patient safety science.
Initially focused on leading delivery of the Beyond ADMET: AI for Medicines Safety regulatory sandbox programme, the postholder will also contribute to the MHRA's broader strategic ambitions in AI-enabled regulatory science and innovation, with opportunities to apply their expertise across other priority areas as organisational needs evolve.

This post is for a junior clinical fellow doctor in the General Surgical unit in Broomfield Hospital at ST1 - ST2 Level. We also have an Ethos Halcyon Linac delivering adaptive Radiotherapy, a Halcyon and CRAD SGRT available throughout the department. Imaging is supported by a Toshiba wide bore CT scanner.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through all key areas of the department--including CT, pre-treatment checking, treatment, and brachytherapy--or, if preferred, specialise in an area aligned with your experience and interests.

The role will include participation in shift patterns and extended hours to meet service capacity and patient demand.
