Job summary

The department has fully established 13 Consultants, providing shop floor cover for 15 hours per day. There is extensive support for examinations including all the Royal Colleges and GPs and a number of our doctors have achieved membership and fellowship of Royal College of Emergency Medicine RCEM within the last 2 years. WWL teaching hospital is amongst the best performing Trusts in the region.Depending on your experience you might be offered a Clinical Fellow post for an agreed term with the option to progress to the Specialty Doctor role.
Main duties of the job
The primary responsibilities of the post holder include:
- Delivering high quality, safe, and effective clinical care
- Communicating effectively and compassionately with patients
- Supporting as junior members of the multidisciplinary clinical team
- Collaborating with all members of the Emergency Department team and staff from other departments.
- Working to ensure audits in key clinical areas are acted upon to improve clinical quality
The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes core located UTC.

Care in Mind provide residential services for young people aged 16-30 years old. This Cancer & Aseptics maternity leave cover role provides an excellent opportunity to develop valuable experience in cancer and aseptic services. On a rotational basis support the aseptic unit manager in the day to day running of the pharmacy aseptic unit.
Support and deputise for the Advanced Pharmacist for Cancer and Aseptics.
Clinically verify prescriptions for patients in a timely and accurate manner. To accuracy check dispensed medicines and support logistics to deliver correct cancer and supportive medicines accurately and on time.
Work with clinical teams at the point of care delivery to understand patients medication history, clinical needs and providing medicines knowledge as required to support the patient journey.
Support patients understanding of their medicines through counselling, drug history taking, and medicines reconciliation. The role is expected to act in a compassionate, empathetic, and professional manner that supports the pharmacy department and trusts values.

Main duties of the job
- Receive fresh and formalin fixed specimens. Know the correct procedure for their safe handling including High Risk specimens.
- Check quality of information on both request form and specimen and assign a Histopathology surgical number.
- Enter details of the specimen onto the cellular pathology computer using the relevant codes.
- Prepare the cut up area for dissection of specimens by either medical or technical staff.
- Ensure there are adequate supplies of consumables.
- Assist at BMS and surgical cut up; enter details onto cellular pathology computer systems, printing the cassettes with the correct details and checking that the correct number is assigned to the specimen, request form and cassettes.
- To load and unload scanners in the digital pathology suite, slides are loaded onto either the Ultrafast scanner (UFS) or Glissandro scanner, depending on the type of slide used.
- Ensuring all slides are macroscopically Quality Checked before scanning, ensuring slides are clean, properly labelled and that the coverslip is not protruding from the edges of the slide.

This post is for a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist and will be based at Kent & Canterbury Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering anaesthesia sessions with on-call commitments, with a requirement to cover ITU. Job plans within the department are flexible.
With this 10 PA position, there is 1 PA allocation for SPA and a second PA for taking on specific roles within the department, during which there is an expectation for the successful candidate to support appraisal, revalidation and completion of mandatory training.
It is anticipated that this job plan will include cover for paediatrics, vascular, endovascular, orthopaedic and urology lists, however, the job plan can be honed to reflect individual skills, knowledge and experience.

Main duties of the job
Your Responsibilities: Support Pharmacy Managers and Lead Technicians in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Dispense prescription medicines accurately and in compliance with departmental policies. Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, where qualified. Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants, trainees, and other staff. Main duties of the job
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious District Nurse to join the wider Community Nursing Team which includes Community Matrons, District Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nursing Associates and Healthcare Assistants.
You will undertake clinical skills including venepuncture, wound care, catheterisation and end of life including syringe drivers.
You will manage a caseload of patients attached to 1 or 2 GP surgeries. The role will include caseload management of patients with a range of long-term conditions and multiple pathologies. You will provide holistic assessment of health needs, relevant to nursing care and offer health promotion. You will need to have a District Nursing Qualification and experience of managing a team. Alyn Family Doctors is looking for 0-hours GP Receptionists/Administrators.
The GP Receptionist/Administrator team create a positive, friendly and caring patient experience, responsible for both the traditional reception role of welcoming and signposting patients to appropriate healthcare professionals and administering the busy back office work of prescriptions, coding correspondence, and providing task-based support to the clinicians and management. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead the Trust's Access to Health Records and Freedom of Information functions, while also supporting the Registration Authority service.

The post-holder will join the Corporate Applications Team and play a key role in the support, administration, configuration, registration authority and optimisation of a range of clinical systems and digital applications across Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The role will contribute to the delivery of safe, reliable and user-focused digital services that support both patient care and operational effectiveness.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide technical and operational support as part of the Corporate Applications Team, working with clinical and non-clinical staff, stakeholders, suppliers, and Digital & Technology teams to support a portfolio of critical applications. The role is responsible for incident and request management, system administration, configuration, user access management, Registration Authority services, role-based access control (RBAC), starter and leaver processes, doctors' inductions, testing, and change implementation.
The post holder will support key systems including CareFlow EPR, RiO, SmartNotes, CMM, Narrative, TOCA e-Triage, AVT, Patient Flow, Connect, Vitals, Workspace, TotalMobile, Community PEP, Plan of Care, Registration Authority services, and Identity & Access Management solutions. The role will help maintain system availability, data quality, information governance compliance, clinical safety standards, and operational continuity to support safe and effective patient care.
Working closely with Senior Corporate Applications Analysts, clinicians, operational teams, project teams and suppliers, the post holder will support business-as-usual services and Digital Health Programme initiatives, ensuring digital solutions continue to meet organisational and patient needs.
The post holder will work flexibly across Trust sites and participate in the Corporate Applications on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support for critical systems and services.
