An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Ward Manager to join Clover Ward, our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, providing specialist inpatient care for people experiencing acute and complex mental health needs.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to support the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, support staff development and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for service users.
You will contribute to clinical decision-making, provide supervision and support to the multidisciplinary team, and play a key role in service improvement, quality assurance and governance activities. Responsibilities include supporting safer staffing, roster management, audits, incident learning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with colleagues, carers and partner organisations, you will help develop effective care pathways that support recovery and positive patient outcomes. You will be passionate about developing others, improving services and ensuring care is delivered in line with Trust values.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills who is committed to delivering safe, effective and person-centred care within a challenging and rewarding PICU environment.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver and maintain high standards of care within the PICU, promoting a safe, therapeutic and recovery-focused environment.
- Support the Ward Manager with operational management, workforce planning and staff development.
- Provide clinical leadership and specialist knowledge to the multidisciplinary team in the care of patients with complex mental health needs.
- Ensure compliance with professional, legal and quality standards, including the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Trust policies.
- Lead on risk assessment, risk management, care planning and safe medicines management.
- Support training, supervision and professional development of staff.
- Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, incident learning and service development.
- Provide visible leadership, supporting governance, performance and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with patients, carers and partner agencies to support recovery and effective care pathways.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and promote high standards of documentation.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, and highly motivated pharmacist to join our friendly medicines management team as the Senior Mental Health Pharmacist for the East Hampshire area team. You will work with the Senior Physical Health Pharmacist and other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who provide clinical pharmacy services to the Mental Health and Physical Health teams in East Hampshire supporting in-patient and community settings.
Ideally you will have experience in mental health pharmacy and working in secondary care services, but you may have transferrable skills from other areas of pharmacy. Full funding is available for post-graduate certificates and diplomas in clinical and psychiatric pharmacy, independent prescribing and attendance at conferences and courses such as those provided by the College of Mental Health Pharmacy.

Job summary
We are excited to offer a newly created, full-time position of Band 5 Mental Health Homeless Nurse (RMN) within the Manchester Mental Health and Homeless Team.
We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses or existing Band 5 nurses who would like to broaden their community nursing experience.
This is the first time there has been a Band 5 post within the Manchester Mental Health Homeless Team and therefore the role will be developed alongside and supporting the post holder's development needs. The post holder will be fully supported via the trust preceptorship package if required, alongside intensive support from the senior team and wider multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be supported by a team of band 6 practitioners to develop their own knowledge and skills with our service users, using the combined model of assertive outreach and inclusion health. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide engagement and assessment to clients with complex mental health and dual diagnosis needs.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of mental health needs for homeless individuals who are not engaged with mainstream mental health services. The role will include active participation in the service planning and future development of the mental health support for homeless individuals within the Manchester district.
The successful candidate will work to support and strengthen existing links with temporary accommodation, support services and mental health treatment services within the city of Manchester. The post holder will be supported by a well-established, specialist multi-disciplinary, trauma informed homeless mental health team and will work with individuals who are experiencing mental health problems. The role of the team is to work with a range of partnership services and homeless individuals to assess and identify the appropriate treatment pathways to address these unmet needs.

This is an analytical role within the Talking Therapies Division at Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust. We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Technical Project Manager to join the Estates and Facilities team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

As a High Intensity CBT Therapist, you will be working with clients who have a range of anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. EIP Suffolk recognise the essential role Occupational Therapy plays within our multidisciplinary team and ensures a truly holistic treatment and support approach for our service users and / their families. Main duties of the job
EIP Suffolk use the Model of Human Occupation and associated assessments, this is a widely adopted model across the trust and will assist with informing your interventions for both your own assigned caseload and across the base MDT. The successful applicant will be expected to be familiar with this model and work towards a level of confidence enabling them to support new Band 5s or OT students on placement creating a supportive environment to encourage learning and progression.
You will be able to demonstrate a warm, compassionate and needs-led approach to working . The role includes multi-agency working alongside the family, local acute care services, primary care sector, social care, education, employment and voluntary services to ensure the service users needs are best met.
Responsibilities include undertaking assessments of individuals who are experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis, working collaboratively with their families and other supporting agencies to effectively address needs utilising the Mental Health Framework to manage a community caseload. Job summary
EIP Suffolk are excited to offer a 1 year fixed-term / internal secondment opportunity for a full-time (37.5 hours / week) Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join our highly skilled and experienced team delivering bespoke and timely interventions to our service users, aged 14 - 65 years, and their families who may be experiencing their first episode of psychosis in line with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence Quality Standards for Early Intervention Services.
We are looking for psychology graduates who have clinical experience and who are particularly interested or experienced in working with people with mental health needs, their families or wider systems and are especially passionate about improving outcomes for individuals living with psychosis. We are looking for individuals who can be compassionate, thoughtful and have the ability to apply psychological knowledge to their work and are open to developing their skills and understanding within the remit of the service provided.
Please note, we will only consider applicants who hold a degree which meets Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC)/Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Please state this clearly in your application.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be based in Bury St Edmunds and be an integral and valued team member and have the full support of our specialist multi-disciplinary team. You will receive weekly clinical supervision from a Clinical Psychologist.
There will be opportunities for supervised clinical practice, co-delivery of training, co-running of therapeutic and support groups across West Suffolk.
There would also be opportunities to work alongside colleagues in both our NSFT research team and NSFT quality team on projects relating to service participation in National Research studies, quality improvement developments and evaluation.
As a team our focus is on respected and evidence-based principles, and an ethos of reflective practice and continual improvement of care. We have a history of employing trainee psychologists within our Trust who have gone on to successful training or further employment opportunities.
