It could not be a better time to join our organisation and be a part of the exciting future ahead.
Main duties of the job
The service provides community based occupational therapy to children with additional and complex health needs, working closely with other professionals involved in the child's care. Within occupational therapy we have a number of care pathways; there are opportunities to work with children with moderate to complex physical needs as well children referred with developmental and/or neurodevelopmental conditions, such as, DCD, ASD, and ADHD. We invite applicants who would like to work across all areas as well as those who have a particular field of interest. There will be an opportunity for all staff to be involved with the progression of universal and targeted levels of intervention, including the development of advice and training to educational settings.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist who has had significant experience of working with children and young people with additional needs. They will be committed to provide a holistic therapeutic and multi-agency approach to children and their families.
