Training information for this post: Successful applicants must attend a 5-day Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Foundational Training W/C 23rd November 2026 or 15th March 2027, unless the applicant has already been in receipt of the foundational or intensive DBT training.
The Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Service provides assessment, treatment; training and consultation in relation to young people aged 12 to 18 who present with persistent self-harm and suicidal behaviour, which maybe in the context of an emerging Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Many of the young people seen will present with complex needs including high risk behaviours. All young people seen will have a comprehensive assessment to inform decision making and planning for the future. Each team member will have a small caseload, but the team will support each other via consultation meetings and supervision. Within the DBT service each clinician will play an active role in all aspects of the service, including assessment, treatment (individual therapy, skills group, phone coaching) teaching, training, research, and service development.

Job summary
This is a Band 6, Speech and Language Therapy clinical role within the Merton Community Team (37.5 hours per week) on a fixed term contract or secondment.
You will provide a specialist clinical SLT assessment, diagnosis and treatment service as part of the Merton Community Neuro Rehab / Community SLT Team on a virtual and / or domiciliary basis across Merton.
The service includes clients with a range of acquired communication and swallowing difficulties, such as stroke and head injury, and those who have a degenerative condition and need support to manage disability and quality of life. The service also provides input for clients who have cognitive-communication and vocational rehabilitation needs.
You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary neuro rehab team, in addition to the wider speech and language therapy team, acting as a resource to other medical, nursing, therapy, social services staff and voluntary agencies and as an interface link for SLT with acute providers.You will undertake teaching and research in relevant specialist areas for a wide range of other professionals, as appropriate.
Supporting self and service development through active participation in continuing professional development and participating in audit or research.
This post is being offered as a fixed term contract or a secondment opportunity. A secondment is a temporary move into a different role, allowing you to gain new skills and experience while maintaining your substantive post.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a specialist speech and language therapy clinical role within the neuro team.
- Co-develop and provide appropriate specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions.
- Facilitate group work and peer mentoring for people affected by a neurological condition, alongside the MDT.
- Carry out specialist physical examination of the orofacial process including the mechanism of eating, drinking and swallowing.
- Monitor all aspects of the interaction of significant others with clients.
- Make appropriate clinical decisions following assessment, using evidence-based practice and outcome measurement to provide the most effective treatment to clients and their families within clearly defined care plans.

The Health and Fitness assistant works with other diciplines to activity motivate patients and helps them to engage in physical activities and sports. They will be expected to work as a team member and follow the guidance of senior staff.
Health and Fitness team offer a weekly programme of activities for patients on every ward in the hospital. There is also a need for all staff in the team to take a role in the department safety procedures, such as daily searches of patients and the environment, preparation work for sessions, undertaking patient observations, escorting patients and helping with the management of patient incompatibilities.

Job summary
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Clinical Measurements team at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust.
We are a very active department providing a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations including physiologist-led exercise testing, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring and event recording. Due to an expansion in the service provision within the Trust, the number of cardiac tests being performed has vastly increased and, as such, we are looking to expand our team of ECG technicians.
As a Band 3 you will be a key member of the departmental staff responsible for performing ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors within the Trust. Some administration duties will also be involved.
You must be a self-motivated, well-organised individual with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal with both adults and children, and have the ability to prioritise workload and use your initiative.
This post would be suited to an individual with some basic understanding of an ECG however, you will not be expected to have experience within Cardiology as full training will be given to the successful candidate. NHS experience is desirable. This will require working cross-sites.

Job summary
We are seeking a suitably qualified Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust. We are a very active department providing a wide range of investigations and are looking to expand our team of multi-skilled cardiac physiologists as our Invasive services expand.
The post holder will still benefit from the opportunity to rotate through all aspects of the department. We have a busy Pacemaker/ICD implant and follow-up service; we are the leading implant centre in Surrey for ICDs and CRTs with an extensive remotely-monitored patient population.
Our Cardiac Unit carries out diagnostic and interventional catheterisations including FFR, OCT, IVUS, IABP, alongside Electrophysiology Studies, RF ablation and simple/complex device implantation.
Applicants should have a substantive cathlab and pacing post qualification experience including remote monitoring management. BSc in Clinical Physiology/ HTEC MPPM (or equivalent) and RCCP registration is desirable. Extensive knowledge and experience in invasive techniques are essential. Further post-graduate learning is desirable (HRUK/IBHRE). Successful applicants would be expected to potentially rotate across both sites (Ashford & St Peters Hospital and Woking Community Hospital)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to join our team in providing secondary mental health care which is delivered in the prison. This post is part of the secondary mental health team which is comparable to a community mental health team in the community.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage individuals with secondary mental health service needs whilst they are in prison custody. This includes assisting in the delivery and development of effective, needs based, modern mental health services within the prison .
The post holder should be expert in all areas of service delivery, ensuring effective communication is maintained at all times.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the effective management of their own caseload and be expected to effectively utilise nursing skills and resources to provide high quality service to all service users. This role requires the post holder to contribute to maintaining the CPA process throughout the legal and custodial process.

Main duties of the job

A basic knowledge of computers is essential. Previous use of Microsoft Windows or SystmOne would be an advantage however full training will be given.
Previous experience working in a reception setting or experience of the use of appointment systems is desirable.

The Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group (NWUHG) is delivering two nationally significant hospital replacement programmes through the New Hospital Programme. Job summary
The role of the chemotherapy staff nurse contributes to the overarching aim to provide the highest quality, holistic, patient centred care for all those in North Derbyshire affected by cancer, throughout all stages of their cancer journey. Working at the state-of-the-art facility, the NGS Macmillan Unit, was built to the standard of the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark and beyond.
Ideally the post holder will have completed the UKONS SACT passport or have up to date, equivalent anti-cancer therapy training and be proficient in nurse led interventions such as venepuncture, cannulation, and management of Central Venous Access devices (including implanted ports, Hickman lines and PICCs) and have experience and knowledge of managing infusion related reactions and extravasation. We are looking for staff who are passionate to work with people affected by cancer and are motivated to complete Chemotherapy training.

The post holder is responsible to undertake their role in accordance with all procedures, protocols,policies and guidelines to support the Theatre/Recovery Department
The post holder will provide a high quality, confidential, professional portering and housekeeping support services to the Theatre Department at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust. The post involves a range of duties requiring manual handling, cleaning and waste management. You will work autonomously or as part of a team. - To clean and check patients trolleys daily.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join the infant feeding team at CDDFT as a maternity support worker.
Our team works across County Durham and Darlington to provide specialist support to women and families experiencing feeding problems in the first weeks after birth. Infant feeding is at the forefront of public health and as part of the team you will be contributing to improved health outcomes across the region.
This a great opportunity for those interested in maternity care, infant feeding and public health to gain experience in this important area of maternity services.
We are a busy team and no two days are the same. We provide face to face and remote care to women in hospital and in community with their baby including in our specialist infant feeding clinic and for division of tongue tie. You would be involved in providing skilled support to get their feeding journey off to the best start.
As a team we also lead for UNICEF Baby Friendly accreditation for meternity services for the Trust and you will have the opportunity to be involved in service improvement and audit as we work to implement UNICEF standards for our families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will privide care to women and families who need additional support with infant feeding. They will provide health promotion in pregnancy to advise on the values of breastfeeding and skilled support following birth with positioning and attachment.
Your duties will include:
Providing skilled support to women who are experiencing feeding problems in the first weeks after birth, gently supporting them to reach their feeding goals.
Supporting the specialist midwife in the infant feeding clinic during frenulotomy procedures.
Providing support in acute settings to both antenatal and postnatal inpatients to support informed decision making and getting feeding off to a good start.
Maintaining accurate records.
Undertaking audit of UNICEF standards.
Providing administrative support by maintaining clinic lists and clinic outcome records.
