Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Divisional Midwifery & Nursing Director, you will be a visible, credible and inspirational leader, to provide professional, operational and strategic leadership across the division
We are seeking a leader who combines clinical credibility with strong operational expertise and a strategic mindset. You will play a key role in leading high-performing teams, driving service improvement, managing change and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care for women, babies and families.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across maternity, nursing, allied health professions and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help turn strategy into meaningful outcomes. You will support the delivery of our Nursing, Midwifery & AHP Strategy, Patient Experience and Involvement Strategy and Maternity & Neonatal Transformation Programme, while driving quality improvement, workforce development, performance and patient experience across the division.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference at a pivotal time for Women's Health services. Main duties of the job
As a Senior Health Care Assistant you will support the qualified nursing staff to provide high standards of care to our patients. In the absence of a ward clerk you will be expected to greet patients as they arrive and complete relevant documentation on patient system.
You will be a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and support the team with care, assessment and treatment of patients.
You will need to be flexible in your working hours to work shifts/unsocial hours including nights as required. Excellent communication skills are essential in this role as well as a passion for delivering excellent care with compassion.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and motivated Transformation Programme Lead to join the Lancashire and South Cumbria Provider Collaborative, hosted by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Provider Collaborative is central to the delivery of system-wide transformation across clinical, operational and corporate services. The programme is supporting the development and implementation of new models of care across Lancashire and South Cumbria, helping to deliver service recovery, clinical transformation, improved outcomes, reduced health inequalities and more equitable access to care and treatment.
The postholder will provide senior leadership across a number of complex, high-profile transformation and reconfiguration programmes. Working closely with senior clinicians, executives, providers, commissioners, NHSE, regulators, patients and wider system partners, the successful candidate will lead the planning, implementation and delivery of agreed transformation priorities.
This is a senior, autonomous role requiring strong political awareness, excellent programme management skills, and the ability to influence across organisational boundaries. The postholder will be a key member of the Provider Collaborative team and will deputise for the Portfolio Director as required.
Main duties of the job
The Transformation Programme Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating major clinical transformation programmes across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Key duties will include:
- Providing project and programme leadership for one or more large-scale transformation and service reconfiguration programmes.
- Supporting the development, delivery and implementation of agreed transformation plans across the Provider Collaborative.
- Working with SROs, clinical leads, trust executives, providers, commissioners and wider system partners to deliver programme objectives.

Our booking services Clerical officers are the first friendly faces our patients will see on reception when attending the imaging department and your friendly and approachable manner will be key to providing a professional and courteous service to all visitors and staff. We aim to ensure that our patients have a positive experience when coming into the department; this will include meeting and greeting them as they come into the department, supporting with the booking of their appointments, answering any queries and concerns that they may have and ensuring that an appointment letter has been sent to them.
Whilst experience working in an admin environment would be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided. Main duties of the job
So what does a day in the life of a clerical officer look like?
You will be performing an ambassadorial role, representing the department and the Trust as a 'front of house' reception service. You will be meeting and greeting different patients and colleagues alike! You'll have a variety of different admin tasks to complete, such as organising incoming and outgoing post, typing letters and other correspondence, filing reports and results and entering data onto our Trust systems. You'll also have the opportunity to put your excellent communication skills to the test, as you will be answering incoming telephone calls to the department and liaising with other departments across the Trust as necessary.

If you are hardworking, friendly, professional and have patients at the centre of your working practice then this could be the job for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic band 6 MRI radiographer to work within the fantastic MRI team at Lancashire Teaching Hospital Trust.
This dynamic job role will consist of working across 3 different sites, Royal Preston Hospital (RPH), Chorley District Hosptial (CDH) and a Community Diagnostic Centre mobile scanner. The MRI department at RPH is a bright and spacious building which provides a suite of 4 scanners including a 3T Siemens Skyra scanner, 2 x 1.5T Philips Ingenia scanners and a soon a Esaote Magnifico 0.7T open scanner. The CDH department houses a new Ingenia Ambition helium free 1.5T scanner.
You will join a welcoming MRI team who have continuously worked hard to receive 7 consecutive GOLD star ratings in recent STAR (Safety triangulation accreditation review) visits.
In this post, you will perform a diverse range of MR examinations for both adult and paediatric patients in outpatient, inpatient and emergency department settings. You will interact with a number of multi-disciplinary teams, such as the theatre team for patients undergoing MRI under anaesthetic and the pacing team, for patients with a cardiac implantable electronic device undergoing MRI.
As an MRI radiographer, you will be a key part of the imaging team, ensuring that our service user's needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.

To assist in the provision of an efficient seven-day MRI service.
To work within the MRI team to deliver the best possible care to patients whilst producing optimum quality diagnostic images.

Main duties of the job

Housekeepers are responsible to provide and maintain cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team to office, patient and communal areas within the Trust. Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients working towards their recovery.

Main duties of the job
We require a friendly, positive thinking, organised and motivated individual to work as a Housekeeper (part time - 15 Hours) within the Trusts Hotel Services Team.
The postholder will be based at Lanchester Road Hospital, Durham DH1 5RD, and will be required to work shifts - Week 1 Monday and Friday 10.00-18.00 Week 2 Tuesday and Friday 10.00-18.00 .
The successful postholder should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible also willing to work at short notice as there may be opportunities for extra hours.
Experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment. Catering and food service experience would be beneficial along with a passion to providing high standards of customer service.
Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health and learning disabilities setting is essential. Also, the ability to provide a positive approach and image, when working with relevant client groups throughout the Trust.
Candidates must possess Food Hygiene Certificate level 2 or work towards successful completion in an agreed timescale.
Essential are Numeracy, Literacy and IT level 2. (Equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 (A* to C in old GCSE grading system)
NVQ Level 2 Housekeeping is desirable. All candidates should demonstrate a commitment to undertake further training and qualifications as deemed necessary to the position within agreed timescales.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Research Practitioner/ Research Nurse to join the Stroke Research Centre is available at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will support research delivery to all clinical studies on the portfolio in line with the aims of the National Institute for Health Research and the North London Research Delivery Network.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work closely with the Lead Research Practitioner and the Academic Research Lead to ensure successful research delivery to the stroke portfolio.
The post-holder will be responsible for identification and enrolment of eligible patients onto clinical trials from the Emergency Stroke Unit and the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The post-holder will be expected to register / randomise patients onto study protocols and to prepare and administer investigational medicinal products as per trial protocol. The post holder will be responsible to ensure clinical trials are run in accordance with ICH-GCP, research protocols, Trust policies, local SOPs and all other regulatory standards.
Experience of working in a clinical research environment is essential for the role; ideally, the post-holder will have experience in a stroke environment. Nursing registration would be an advantage. The post-holder will need to demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with excellent technical and communication skills to join the Business Intelligence Team in the Surgery and Cancer Board.
Main duties of the job
We provide accurate, timely and complex analytical support to the Board, turning data into meaningful information that all aspects of the business (quality, access standards, productivity, activity, income, research) can utilise to make evidence-based decisions and drive improvements. As such, strong Excel skills, an attention to detail and the ability to expertly interrogate relational databases using SQL is essential. Experience of Power BI is also desirable. Applicants should also be experienced in communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues and be able to cater analytical products to a wide range of audiences. Statistical analysis skills or openness to learn is also desirable.
Whilst the post holder will work closely with the Business Intelligence Partners they should be able to work autonomously, and with minimal supervision where required. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple and competing priorities to meet agreed deadlines. Do you have driving & administration experience? Primary care 24 (PC24) are looking for Drivers to join our workforce, who will drive clinicians to home visits and cover reception duties in our Out of Hours services. You will ensure the medic car assigned to the shift is checked, properly equipped and all IT equipment is logged on. Job summary
We are looking for bright and enthusiastic pharmacists, with the motivation to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in practice, to join our development programme for clinical pharmacists.
The programme includes year-long rotations through areas such as acute medicine, elderly care and long-term conditions, gastroenterology, critical care, urology, thoracic surgery, neurosciences, hyperacute stroke, HIV and sexual health, and women's health including neonates.
Main duties of the job
Your principal job role will focus on direct patient care, applying your therapeutics knowledge and skills to ensure that all our patients receive safe and effective medication throughout their time with the Trust, as both an inpatient and outpatient. You will use your excellent analytical skills to gather and process relevant information held within our electronic health records system, Epic, to achieve optimal outcomes.
Many of the rotations support tertiary services and offer exposure and experience of cutting-edge practice in rapidly developing diagnostic and therapeutic areas, which require continually evolving approaches to medicines management.
You will also be introduced to core directorate activities such as reporting and analysis of medicines expenditure, budget planning for tariff-excluded high-cost drugs, project management, clinical governance activities, and more general management and leadership roles.

Job summary
CSH Surrey Intermediate Care Team (ICT) is a 7 day service which provides specialist individualised rehabilitation packages of care to patients referred from the community in crisis, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting complex discharges from hospitals to enable patients to maximise independence in the most appropriate care setting.
In partnership with members of the multi-disciplinary team, including the Transfer of Care Hub based at St Peters Hospital,the post holder will develop,implement and evaluate a seamless specialist ICT service, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of clinical and rehabilitation care and support.
The post holder will take a leading role in the identification and clinical assessment of patients who will benefit from advanced complex discharge care,or admission avoidance,with care provided in their own home by the Intermediate Care team,Reablement, Community Rehabilitation team and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will demonstrate a high level of expertise in providing advice, education and support to health care professionals, patients and their families. They will actively case find and promote the service working closely with GPs, adult social care and the voluntary sector.

From 6 April 2017, skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
