Staff Nurse - RSCN/RN (Child) / RM Band 5

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly motivated, Registered Children's nurses to join our team at Ormskirk.
We are a Level 2 unit with 10 cots providing high quality family integrated care to babies and their families within the North West of England.
If you would like you to join our friendly, experienced neonatal team & help develop our vision for neonatal services in Ormskirk, you must be flexible, have good communication skills, be committed to providing excellent care and be RSCN/RM/RN Child Branch qualified with some experience of neonates.
As part of the role you will be given the chance to develop your management responsibilities, taking charge of daily activities on the Unit, utilising skills required for working in a diverse team and environment.
The post is rotational to night duty and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
Due to current service demands, we are only able to consider applicants who have relevant UK experience. Candidates must also be available to commence employment immediately or within a very short timeframe. We regret that we cannot progress applications that do not meet these essential requirements.
Main duties of the job
1. Assess, plan develop and implement programmes of care to patients, providing advice in a variety of settings.
2. Carry out nursing procedures in line with current NMC standards of proficiency.
3. Ensure the health, wellbeing and independence of patients and service users across healthcare settings, maintaining associated records, ensuring all patients always receive safe and effective care.
4. Supervision of junior staff and all learners.
5. Always understand and demonstrate the Trust values

Providing adult community services for St Helens and a wheelchair service in Chorley, South Ribble, and West Lancashire. Our inpatient unit at Newton Community Hospital is where patients needing acute hospital beds can continue rehabilitation. We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre.
Specialist Regional Services
We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.

Main duties of the job

We have a new opportunity to join our Anaesthesia Team at Frimley Park Hospital as a Clinical Fellow in Regional Anaesthesia.
The post is for 12 months commencing either August 2027, February 2028 or August 2028.
The Fellowship is aimed at senior trainees who are in possession of the FRCA (or equivalent) or CCT holders seeking specialised training in regional anaesthesia. The Fellowship can be adapted to support the Fellow in developing specific interests.
Main duties of the job
This Fellowship provides advanced training in regional anaesthesia, enabling the post-holder to develop expertise in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and continuous catheter techniques while working towards the ESRA Diploma.
The role includes hands-on clinical practice, opportunities to teach on local training courses, and involvement in research, audit and service development projects.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse to join the Powys Immunisation and Vaccination Service, based in Bronllys, working across Mid and South Powys.
You will play a key role in delivering immunisation and vaccination programmes that protect and improve the health of local communities. Vaccinations are delivered in a range of settings, including vaccination centres, community hospitals, care homes and outreach clinics.
Working alongside Lead Nurses and Clinical Supervisors, you will provide safe, evidence-based, person-centred care. The role includes clinical assessment, vaccine administration in line with national guidance, promoting vaccine confidence, supporting health promotion activities, and providing day-to-day support to Healthcare Support Worker Immunisers.
Previous immunisation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing professional development will be provided. We are seeking registered nurses with an interest in public health, prevention and improving population health outcomes.
The ability to travel independently to vaccination sites across Powys is essential.

Main duties of the job
As an Immunisation Nurse, you will support the delivery of immunisation and vaccination programmes across Powys, helping to protect communities and improve population health. Main duties of the job
The post holder will support patients, sonographers and the wider Ultrasound team before, during and after examinations. Duties will include welcoming patients, confirming demographic details, providing basic examination information, acting as a chaperone when required, and assisting patients with changing, mobility, positioning and other practical needs while maintaining dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
You will prepare clinical rooms, trolleys, equipment and consumables; clean and decontaminate equipment and patient areas in line with departmental procedures; monitor stock levels; and help maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment. Any concerns about a patient's condition or safety must be reported promptly to registered staff.
The role also includes reception and administrative duties, such as answering telephone and face-to-face enquiries, contacting patients and clinical areas, recording information accurately and using radiology and clinical IT systems. You will work within agreed procedures, complete delegated tasks, prioritise your workload and contribute positively to the day-to-day running of the service.
The post holder will work mainly in Ultrasound at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, with possible cross-site working in community locations to support service delivery. Duties may vary during the working day in response to clinical and operational priorities.

The role is to work in the UCR therapy team which covers Rapid Response triage, Admission Avoidance, and Discharge to Assess for Norwich Place, and will involve working across a 7-day week.Currently therapy shifts are 8am to 6pm with weekend working on a rota.

As part of the Urgent Community Response (UCR), you will be required:o To work within the Urgent Community Response Team, to preventunnecessary admission to hospital. To work within the Urgent Community Response Team to support discharges from hospital under identified D2A pathways.
o To make risk assessments, establishing the safety or otherwise of a patient's ability to stay at home, or return safely from another care setting, providing and arranging as necessary supportive packages of care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integrated Neighbourhood Team Lead (x2) to support the development and delivery of Neighbourhood-based health and care across Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
Norfolk and Waveney are adopting a neighbourhood health approach, bringing services closer to communities and enabling more joined-up, preventative and person-centred support. Integrated Neighbourhood Teams will play a key role in making this ambition real by bringing together partners from primary care, community services, social care, mental health, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations, and wider system partners.
The postholder will provide senior leadership within neighbourhoods, supporting partners to work as one system around local people and communities. This is a key role for someone who can operate across organisational boundaries, build trusted relationships, use data and community insight to drive improvement, and translate strategic priorities into practical delivery.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
Providing comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages attending the Primary Care Centre for urgent care outside normal surgery hours. Seeing patients booked in via NHS 111, Clinical Assessment Service (CAS), Out-of Hours triage (OOH) and Emergency Department streaming, working through a base-clinic caseload at approximately 34 patients per hour. Conducting face-to-face consultations from the clinical base and managing a varied caseload including acute minor illnesses and exacerbations of chronic conditions. Assisting with telephone triage when there are lower levels of face-to-face consultations booked, providing expert clinical advice, risk assessment, and directing patients to appropriate care pathways. Utilising the Adastra clinical system to accurately record consultations and clinical notes. Dispensing medications from stock when required, in line with local protocols and safe medicines management. Working autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team - including doctors, nurses and administrative staff - to ensure seamless, patient-centred care. Making appropriate referrals to secondary care, liaising effectively with other services, and ensuring patient safety through sound clinical decision-making. Main duties of the job
Providing comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages attending the Primary Care Centre for urgent care outside normal surgery hours. Seeing patients booked in via NHS 111, Clinical Assessment Service (CAS), Out-of Hours triage (OOH) and Emergency Department streaming, working through a base-clinic caseload at approximately 34 patients per hour. Conducting face-to-face consultations from the clinical base and managing a varied caseload including acute minor illnesses and exacerbations of chronic conditions. Assisting with telephone triage when there are lower levels of face-to-face consultations booked, providing expert clinical advice, risk assessment, and directing patients to appropriate care pathways. Utilising the Adastra clinical system to accurately record consultations and clinical notes. Dispensing medications from stock when required, in line with local protocols and safe medicines management. Working autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team - including doctors, nurses and administrative staff - to ensure seamless, patient-centred care. Making appropriate referrals to secondary care, liaising effectively with other services, and ensuring patient safety through sound clinical decision-making. Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to Practice Plus Group policies and NHS guidelines to uphold high standards of care.
About us
Registered Nurse with MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent. Experience within Out of Hours, Primary Care GP Surgery, or Urgent Treatment Centre. Holder of V300 / Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and minimum 6 months experience post qualification. Ability to autonomously see and treat patients of all ages. Confident clinical decision-maker with strong assessment skills. Excellent communicator with a patient-centred approach. Flexible, self-motivated, and committed to ongoing professional development.
