Job summary
Housekeepers are responsible to provide and maintain cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team to office, patient and communal areas within the Trust. Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients working towards their recovery.
You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic. You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
We require a friendly, positive thinking, organised and motivated individual to work as a Housekeeper (part time - 15 Hours) within the Trusts Hotel Services Team.
The postholder will be based at Auckland park Hospital and will be required to work shifts between the hours of 7am-6pm including weekends .
You should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible also willing to work at short notice as there may be opportunities for extra hours.
Experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment. Catering and food service experience would be beneficial along with a passion to providing high standards of customer service.
Experience of working or volunteering in a Mental Health and Learning disabilities is essential. Also, the ability to provide a positive approach and image, when working with relevant client groups throughout the Trust.
Candidates must possess Food Hygiene Certificate level 2 or work towards successful completion in an agreed timescale.
Essential are; Numeracy, Literacy and IT level 2. (Equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 (A* to C in old GCSE grading system)
NVQ Level 2 Housekeeping is desirable. All candidates should demonstrate a commitment to undertake further training and qualifications as deemed necessary to the position within agreed timescales.

The Mental Health Care Coordinator will work as part of the Frailty Team, providing dedicated support to the Dementia Nurse Service. The post holder will support people living with dementia, cognitive impairment, frailty and mental health needs, together with their families and carers.
Working closely with the Dementia Nurse and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), the role will focus on care coordination, personalised support and proactive engagement to ensure individuals receive timely access to appropriate health, social care, voluntary sector and community services.
The post holder will act as a key point of contact for patients and carers, supporting navigation of services, coordination of care and delivery of personalised, person-centred support. The role will contribute to dementia reviews, follow-up activity, identification of unmet need and early intervention to prevent crisis and avoidable hospital admission.
The Care Coordinators role will support the Dementia nurse in the frailty team and the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team in coordinating all key activity including access to services, advice and information and ensuring health and care planning is timely, efficient, and patient-centred.
Main duties of the job
Support to the Dementia Nurse Service
Work alongside the Dementia Nurse to support patients living with dementia and associated mental health needs.
Support identification and engagement of patients and carers requiring additional support.
Support the development, implementation and review of personalised care and support plans.
Collate and gather relevant information to support clinical discussions and MDT reviews.
Support monitoring of patients awaiting assessment, intervention or ongoing support.
Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings across local care organisations identifying patients in need of review and collating any information required to facilitate their review prior to the meeting.
Liaise with other key stakeholders as needed for the collective benefit of the patient including but not limited to GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other support staff from within the PCN practices or from other provider organisations
Undertake delegated clinical procedures within own skills and competence when required (depending on experience and qualifications)
Communicate effectively and sensitively using language appropriate to the patient and their carer and their level of understanding
Provide accurate, impartial information, support and guidance to patients and their carers to enable them to make choices about their care
Work with practices to support delivery of any national and local targets with regard to the GP contract e.g. PCN DES

Main duties of the job
The Deputy Chief People Officer is one of two formal deputies to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and a key member of the Trust's senior leadership community. The postholder provides strategic leadership across assigned areas of the People & Culture portfolio and supports the delivery of the Trust's workforce, culture and organisational improvement priorities. In the absence of the Chief People Officer, the postholder will act on their behalf and provide senior leadership to the People & Culture function.
The post holder will support the Chief People Officer, to deliver the wider operational, strategic and improvement objectives of the Trust, leading initiatives to develop high levels of workforce engagement, organisational culture and performance.
The Deputy Chief People Officer has a wide-ranging and extensive portfolio including Employee Relations and Business Partnering, Recruitment and Temporary Staffing, EDI and Workforce Systems. They will drive value, improvements and innovation in the delivery of people services.
Responsibility for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing, Occupational Health and Staff Experience sits within a separate Deputy Chief People Officer portfolio. The postholder will work collaboratively across both Deputy portfolios to ensure an integrated approach to workforce, culture and organisational priorities.

As our services grow we now need to add to our Service team.

We have 1 role that involve ensuring the smooth operation and staffing of the Extended Hours service offered throughout Wigan and Leigh.
The Service coordinator is responsible to the Service Manager and duties include ensuring that rotas for staff working in the Alliances Hub locations are fully completed and updated. The successful candidate needs to be both proactive and reactive as this is an ever changing role. Hub staff not being available at short notice presents varying difficulties the coordinator would need to resolve in what is sometimes a short period of time. It involves thinking on your feet, remaining calm and being positive.
Main duties of the job
The service coordinator is part of a small but vital team ensuring the successful delivery of Primary Care appointments throughout the Borough of Wigan, to cover evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Hours of work are:
we have one shift pattern:-
Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday 12:00 - 20:00. Saturday 08:00 - 16:00.
As the Alliance grows so will the diversity of opportunities and duties within the organisation and this opportunity has become available due to a promotion within the Alliance.
Previous experience of working within a GP Surgery is an advantage but training will be provided for the successful candidates.
The successful applicant must have good attention to detail and ability to operate different IT systems (training given).
There is a requirement for the successful candidate to attend any of the Extended Hours hubs during their working patterns so a full driving license is essential. Travel whilst working will be in one of the Company vehicles but the successful applicant must have access to their own vehicle.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join the Medicines Optimisation team at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Teaching Trust as a Pharmacy Support Worker - Higher Level. In this role, you will work closely with our ward-based, clinical pharmacy team to help ensure patients receive their medications safely, efficiently and on time. You will be joining a progressive, forward-thinking Pharmacy department where innovation and teamwork are at the heart of what we do. This role would ideally suit an experienced or newly qualified pharmacy dispenser who is looking for a new challenge. This vacancy is to be based at the Dewsbury site.
You will have already successfully completed an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy and Dispensing Services (or a GPhC recognised equivalent) and have experience of working in either a community, or hospital pharmacy dispensary. We would like you to have a positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for patient care, a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a busy workload whilst working both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be confident and have clear communication skills.
There will be some weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota basis. You may also be required to work occasionally at other sites within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Medicines Optimisation team, you will play an essential role in delivering a high-quality, ward-based pharmacy service by:
- Supporting patients directlyreviewing any medicines they have brought to hospital with them, ensuring they are safe to use during admission, confirming supplies for discharge, and accurately documenting details on the electronic prescribing system.
- Maintaining safe and timely care by ordering medication through the electronic prescribing system to help prevent missed doses during a patients stay.
- Working collaboratively with pharmacy colleagues and ward staff at all levels to help ensure the smooth and effective running of the service.
- Dispensing medication on the ward for discharge, supporting timely patient flow, and assisting the pharmacy team with counselling patients on newly prescribed treatments.
- Transferring medication between wards when required to support continuity of care.
- Providing support to nursing staff, helping them with medication queries and ordering needs.
- Contributing to staff development by supporting the training of Pharmacy Support Workers, Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, and Trainee and Foundation Pharmacists.

We are seeking a Finance Assistant who will support the delivery of the financial services function within the ICB.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cellular Pathology Department for a full-time Band 3 Medical Support Secretary to join our busy and dedicated team.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our Practice for a 2 session post on Fridays.
Main duties of the job

The Calderdale Core team is a collaborative adult mental health team, comprised of mental health nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, support workers and clinical and counselling psychologists and psychotherapists. We are embracing trauma informed practice and exciting developments in mental health community transformation.
Within your role, you will provide psychological therapy to service users and support the psychological thinking within the wider team. Offering clinical supervision is also a part of the working role and we will support you to develop in this area (particularly if employed as newly qualified).
Currently we have a broad psychological therapy offer and the service offers both individual and group therapies, contributing to a rich and varied experience in the working role. We are a collaborative and supportive team with support for continued professional development, clinical supervision, and line management. Opportunities for further training and gaining experience in other clinical areas will also be supported.
You will be supported by the managerial and leadership structure of the core team, alongside receiving access to line management, professional and clinical supervision from clinical psychologists based with the Core team.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a clinical psychologist with interest and enthusiasm for working with service users with complex psychological and mental health needs.
We are particularly looking for individuals who have a strong interest or experience of working with adults with complex psychological problems, and of delivering psychological therapies to this client group alongside offering psychological consultation to mental health team members.
We have good links to the D. Clin Psych training course at Leeds, offering placements to trainees, supervising research and providing teaching.

We are looking for a Senior Speech & Language Therapist / Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, depending on experience, to join our team to cover a maternity leave on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months. Those seeking to further specialise in the field of neurosciences and who enjoy a mix of both acute and community working would be ideal for this role. It would suit either someone already working at Band 6 level, who is ready to take the next steps in their career development or someone already working at Band 7, with advanced skills in managing neurological dysphagia and related communication disorders. The successful applicant should have experience of working with patients with neurological disorders and have post graduate dysphagia training.
The Speech & Language Therapy team is looking for a team player, who can demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to patient care. The individual should be confident working in a busy multidisciplinary team and be able to travel independently for community visits.
The successful applicant will independently manage a caseload of adults with acquired communication and / or swallowing disorders, actively participating in multidisciplinary decision making around patient care and developing service delivery initiatives.
Knowledge of videofluoroscopy would be advantageous but is not essential.
Main duties of the job
You will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality service within the specialist area of neurosciences. The successful applicant will provide out-patient clinics at The James Cook University Hospital, run a group for patients with Parkinson's Disease, with support from an assistant, and provide inpatient assessment for those with Parkinson's Disease. They would also have sessions on an acute neurology and neurosurgery ward, and intensive care, depending on experience. There may be an opportunity to work within other specialist areas eg Stroke / acute wards, depending on service need and individual preference.
Regular support will be provided both from your line manager and through peer supervision. The existing team consists of 4 other therapists, each with different skill sets and responsibilities, and 1 assistant.
You will be encouraged to take an active role in service improvement (both within our own service and our wider healthcare teams), clinical governance and continuing professional development of self and others in leadership and mentorship.
