Have you got exceptional clinical skills to support children and young people in West Hertfordshire?
HCT are advertising for a Consultant Community Paediatrician to be part of the Autism Assessment team.
The Community Paediatricians provide services to children and young people inWatford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas.
This is a 10 programme activity post with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. The post holder will be based at one of the three children's centres in West Hertfordshire. All centres have excellent facilities and host several disciplines.
There is multiagency working within the department including assessment of autism.There are close working relationships with both Acute Paediatrics Services and CAMHS. There are strong links with Hertfordshire County Council, Social Services and Education Department.

HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Main duties of the job
The responsibilities will include:
- Assessments of children with neurodevelopment conditions, autism, ADHD and neuro-disabilities.
- Safeguarding children, looked after children, school health
- Special educational needs, teaching and training.
This post holder will have shared lead for neuro-disability and where appropriate, participating in multi-agency / multidisciplinary assessments.
The Children's Specialist Services Medical Team in West Hertfordshire consists of 18.5 Consultants and SAS Community Paediatricians, working across the three child development centres. They are supported by Specialist and Speciality grade doctors, and one resident doctor in rotation.
This new post in the Autism Assessment Team is an integral part of the Neurodiversity Pathway and links to the wider Community Paediatric Medical team. Other services in the Neurodiversity Pathway are the Sensory Processing Service and the Hertfordshire NHS CYP Neurodiversity Single Referral Service. The Community Medical Team works closely with therapy, community nursing and continuing care teams.

Job responsibilities

The integrated community respiratory team provide a number of services - COPD, Home oxygen, Pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory physio.
We are a team of nurses, physios and skills assistant staff. We cover all of NE Essex so access to a car and a driving licence is essential.
We provide clinic based, class based and home based care, with the aim of supporting people to have quality of life and be able to self manage their conditions.
We are seeking an assistant practitioner to support the service, particularly with our Pulmonary rehabilitation service. This will involve supporting assessments, running of the class, end assessments, and equipment management.
You will also be trained to support patients with set up of MyCOPD, and to visit them to educate on techniques such as breathlessness management, chest clearance, inhaler technique and the issue and return/decontamination of loan nebulisers.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will form part of an existing team of physiotherapists responsible for the delivery of patient rehabilitation services within Hywel Dda University Health Board within the Musculoskeletal team, including Pelvic Health. This will involve working in collaboration with inter and multi disciplinary teams (MDT) to deliver holistic care.
The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload which will involve self referrals as well as those from GP's, AHP's, Social Service practitioners and Consultants. They will operate as an autonomous professional with a high level of clinical and technical skill and expertise, using evidence base to plan, implement and evaluate the management of clients. The role may involve working flexibly across primary, community and secondary care sites.
The post holder will participate in the continuous professional development process, involving the education / supervising of junior staff and students.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting service modernisation and development. This will include involvement in audit and service evaluation processes.
The post holder will be required to participate in the provision of a flexible 7 day service, based on service need. This will be on a rota basis. The post holder will be required to participate in the provision of the on call respiratory service.

Please note that whilst these posts are placed in the localities listed above there are times when working across the Black Country is required dependent on service need.
Band 4 transitioning to Band 5 once all course modules are completed, full clinical hours are gained as part of the training year and notification has been received from the university of a successful pass. Upon successful completion of the course you are expected to register with the BABCP or BPS and pay your annual fees.
The trainee CWP posts are training positions subject to successful completion of the course. Candidates will be expected to travel to Northampton University in the first year to complete their training. Attendance at university can be up to five days per week initially but does reduce considerably over the course to become more practical based.
Main duties of the job
The Mental Health Support Team for schools and colleges in the Black Country will be supporting approximately 365 settings in 2027 and is designed to deliver three core functions:
Evidence-based interventions for mild-to-moderate mental health issues;
To support thesenior mental health leadin each school or college to introduce or developwhole school or college approach
Provide timely advice to school and college staff and liaise with external specialist service to help children and young people to get the right support and stay in education.
During your training year you will develop skills and competencies to deliver short term interventions to young people in schools and colleges throughout the localities where they demonstrate a need for support with their emotional health and wellbeing. Some community work will also be required dependent on the needs of the young person and their family and how the service expands and develops.

As a trainee Child Wellbeing Practitioner you will be expected to work under supervision as part of a dynamic mental health team in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas and ways of working to support children and young people are actively encouraged. This approach requires flexibility and adaptability, and above all a passion for working with children and young people in educational settings. Over the course of the training year, the post-holder will, under supervision, develop knowledge and practice skills to employ a range of evidence based interventions for common mental health problems such as anxiety, low mood and friendship difficulties via direct individual and group support for children, young people and their parents, in line with the university expectations.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy (ASLT) team as a Bank Band 4 Adult Speech and Language Therapy Assistant in Bromley.
We are a supportive and friendly team who will work with adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders including voice and dysfluency. We also have specialist SLT services such as an outpatient Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of swallowing (FEEs) service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support provision of SLT services to adults within the Bromley Healthcare services with a range of conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone disease.
This post would suit a motivated person with prior experience in an SLT team or assistant role, or someone looking to develop skills working as an Adult SLT assistant. Driving is an essential requirement of this job. You will be provided with training appropriate for the role and we have a highly developed internal supervision structure.

We offer a range of clinical fellowships, supervised by experts in their field. These include:

Main duties of the job
The post is for a clinical fellowship and will involve a majority of clinical sessions (~50%) in the chosen subspecialty. This will be combined with sessions in other areas of personal interest and department needs. Fellows will be given the opportunity to run appropriate elective lists to consolidate independent practice.
The post provides half a day per week (averaged) for research, education and management. Fellows will be encouraged and expected to contribute to the department through engagement in quality improvement, audits, teaching or research, and will be provided support. The preferred candidate will be self-driven and proactive.
You will be expected to be on the on-call rota, including night shifts. Commitments are typically 1 in 9, covering theatres and maternity; the exact deployment is dependent on experience and rota requirements. Occasionally, the on call rota is full, and an alternative rota will apply.

Within ELHT Maternity services, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Term 12 month post as Midwifery Team Leader for the Burnley Birth Centre.This is a temporary Band 7 post, involving managerial duties, and clinical duties as required. Job summary
The Community Hospice provides community, hospital and inpatient specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley.
You should have experience of having worked in an administrative role in a clinical environment or similar. Working alongside an established team of administrators you will provide a high level of support to our clinical teams including the inpatient unit.
Please note this is a full time role (35 hours) working over 7 days including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide high-quality chairside support to clinicians across a range of specialist dental services, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred care at all times. The Clinical Nurse Specialist works across BCUHB within a clinical speciality acting in the roles of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager in the pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes.
Clinical Nurse Specialists are recognised internationally as expert practitioners, having in-depth knowledge of a speciality that results in expanding boundaries of nursing practice and the implementation of evidence-based practice and clinical research.
Clinical practice is central to the Clinical Nurse Specialist role, however in order to influence and improve nursing practice it is essential the role is underpinned by the competencies as outlined in the job description below. Due to the diversity of the CNS role key accountabilities and key performance indicators will vary according to patient/population and service needs. Therefore, the key performance indicators will be determined by the individual service and will be based on the key accountabilities as outlined in this CNS generic job description.
This position includes a clinical workload.
Main duties of the job
Provide expert nursing knowledge in the management of patient care within a defined area of specialty practice, working with the patient, family or other health professionals to provide timely nursing care to optimise outcomes.
Uses advanced health assessment skills in the assessment of patients and critiques own practice to maintain clinical competence.
Prescribes advanced evidence-based nursing therapeutics, pharmacological/non-pharmacological interventions, diagnostic measures, equipment, procedures, and treatments to meet the needs of patients, families and groups, in accordance with professional preparation, institutional policies and scope of practice.
Role models expert evidence based clinical practice, is seen as highly effective, progressive and knowledgeable.
Guides and supports others in the speciality in their assessment, clinical decision-making, implementation, evaluation and documentation of care.
Provides leadership, role models and guides others in nursing practice.
Networks nationally and internationally to identify and implement nursing advances and changes in practice.
Identifies opportunities for general health / wellness education e.g. smoking cessation.

Job summary
The Aseptic unit is a small team of around 14 staff and is responsible for providing 6500 doses of cytotoxics and monoclonal antibodies a year. The Aseptic Pharmacy team also supplies approximately 2000 bags of parenteral nutrition per year for inpatients treated on site
The post holder will support the Aseptic Services department - under the management of the Chief Pharmacy Technician and under the overall leadership of the Associate Chief Pharmacist - to ensure the safe, effective and timely provision of aseptic products to all patients in King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for participating in the aseptic manufacture of chemotherapy doses, checking volumes for other Aseptic staff, generating worksheets and labels using Epic - the trust's chosen electronic prescribing system, advising the Chief Pharmacy Technician and Associate Chief Pharmacist on amending work practices and documentation to improve the running of the service, maintaining equipment according to procedures and actively encouraging adherence to all procedures relating to the aseptic department and Good Manufacturing Practice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy section 10 production unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital site based in Orpington, Kent. The post holder will assist in the preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in isolators, as well as assisting with the daily monitoring and cleaning of isolators, and the monitoring of the clean room. The post holder will be expected to work to the principles of "Good Manufacturing Practice".
The post holder must be flexible to working at other King's College Hospital trust sites when required to fulfil the service needs of cross-site working.
All work will be carried out according to procedures and standards of professional practice in the Department; however, staff are expected to develop their own safe systems of work to ensure a high professional standard of work conducive to patient safety.

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Highly Specialised Fixed Restorative Dental Technician (Digital Lead) to join our Dental Technology Services.
The Fixed Restorative Laboratory forms part of the Trust's Dental Technology Service and supports complex restorative dentistry and multidisciplinary patient care. The laboratory provides advanced technical services in crown and bridge, implant-supported restorations, aesthetic restorative dentistry and digital CAD/CAM manufacturing.
A key aspect of the role will be to support and lead the continued development of digital workflows within the Fixed Restorative Laboratory, including CAD/CAM processes, service improvement, quality assurance and the evaluation and implementation of new technologies. Main duties of the job
The main responsibility of the post holder is working within the multidisciplinary team supporting Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and other dental specialties. The post holder will be responsible for the design and manufacture of complex fixed restorative dental devices, implant-supported restorations, digital CAD/CAM workflows and advanced manufacturing technologies.

The Mole Valley Neighbourhood Mental Health Team has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Lead (NMC, HCPC-OT, SWE). This is a new post to the service and we will be developing the role over time as the successful applicant embeds into the Service. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a HR Manager into the HR Business Partner team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Working closely with a variety of services and departments to ensure the provision of a high-quality Employee Relations service for all managers. You will be responsible for providing expert, professional advice to a range of Managers & Senior Leaders on all HR & People matters, including complex & sensitive employee relations cases, sickness absence & queries relating to Trust policies & procedures.
The postholder will also support the Clinical Service Units on areas such as change management or other service development initiatives to advise on the consultation and negotiation processes with relevant Trade Union/Professional Association representatives and affected employees. They will also manage designated HR Officers within the team and work with the HRBP's in supporting the CSUs in staff engagement, staff well-being, Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion & in working towards the Trust achieving a Just & Learning Culture.
You need to have significant HR experience of working in a complex unionised environment & have experience in handling complex and sensitive case work. You will be degree level educated (or equivalent) & hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification.
Main duties of the job
Demonstrate delivering advice to managers with confidence in line with organisation policy & case law.
Development of workforce and local service plans, advising on workforce requirements & planning needs and identifying trends & changes.
Change management, consultation &negotiation with relevant Trade Union/Professional Association representatives & employees affected.
Manage the HR Officers to maintain an overview & awareness of issues
Support tackling people issues such as absence management, vacancy & turnover figures, service improvement, & development ensuring employee deployment is aligned to service needs for effective service delivery.
Professional advice & guidance on a range of employee relations issues, presentation of management cases at formal hearings & appeals and providing support.
Work with managers in monitoring & analysing workforce information & data to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
Advice managers & employees on the interpretation of HR policies, procedures, terms & conditions of employment & relevant employment law.
Advise, analyse/match/evaluate Job Descriptions in accordance with the Agenda for Change Job Evaluation Scheme.
Design & deliver training and briefing sessions for managers & employees.
Contribute to & participate in wider HR agendas as appropriate.
To undertake reviews or particular project work which may include involvement in policy review/development, & associated duties as delegated by the Assistant Director of HR.
