Job summary

Applicants who meet the person specification will be invited to a two-stage Clinical Support Worker Assessment Centre:
Stage 1: Your Care Certificate documentation will be reviewed to confirm that it is valid, fully completed and meets the required standards. A valid Care Certificate must include completion of the theory component, workplace competency assessments completed in a real work setting and signed off by an appropriate assessor, and evidence that all 16 Care Certificate Standards have been completed. Online theory-only certificates will not be accepted.
At this stage, we may also seek clarification where further information is required in relation to your application, employment history or supporting evidence.
You must bring your Care Certificate, completed workbook and assessment or competency sign-off documentation with you on the day.
Stage 2: Candidates who successfully meet the requirements of Stage 1 will progress to the next stage of the assessment process. This will include a formal interview and, where required, numeracy and literacy assessments. Numeracy and literacy assessments will not be required where candidates can provide evidence of Functional Skills, GCSE Maths and English, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job
You will assist with patient hygiene needs, toileting, nutritional intake, assisting patients with their mobility and physical comfort and monitoring and recording vital signs.
You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
In conjunction with registered staff, you'll contribute to the assessment of patient's activities of daily living and the care required.

Main duties of the job

Clinical
Prepare clinic rooms, equipment and stock before lists, and restore them afterwards
Record patient observations (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate) and escalate concerns.
Perform venepuncture and 12 lead ECGs, and label, package and send specimens correctly
Carry out height, weight, BMI and urinalysis

Your duties will include:

o Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic systems, including Mercedes Star, Fiat Witech, ODIS and Autel
o Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections to maximise vehicle availability.

o Undertaking repairs involving electrical systems, welding and fabrication, hydraulics, heating and air conditioning systems.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trust Clinical Fellow in General Medicine as part of the Medical Specialties Directorate to join our team until 3rd August 2027 at University Hospitals Dorset. The successful candidates will be at the forefront of developing our Medical Specialties and associated specialist areas.
The post will give dedicated training in one of the General Medical specialties, participating in the General Medicine and Older Persons Services on call. It is suitable for those with at least two years in Medicine at SHO equivalent grade or above.
We are a multidisciplinary team that is keen to support our speciality doctors in their career development, especially with any management, QI and educational opportunities that they may wish to pursue.
These posts are not recognised training posts however there are excellent teaching and postgraduate facilities. About us
There are opportunities at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich and Lewisham Hospital to work on an ad hoc basis as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Please note this is for DAY SHIFTS ONLY.
We are currently looking at increasing our supply of RMNs to work on both sites in a variety of departments on an as and when required basis.
You will be registered with the NMC as an RMN and have a MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS POST REGISTRATION, NHS EXPERIENCE WITHIN A MENTAL HEALTH SETTING. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to supervise and support other team members. Reliability, confidence and commitment are essential characteristics you will need to succeed in this role.

Spirit Primary Care is looking for a Salaried GP to join Satis House in Water Orton for 6 sessions per week.
Satis House is a single-handed practice, meaning you will be the sole GP working at the practice. This offers a real opportunity to build strong relationships with your patients and become an important part of the local community.

Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist Specialised in Pacing and Cathlab to join our friendly and dynamic team, providing high standards of care and support to patients in the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
You will play a key role in the continuous development of our vibrant and growing cardiology service. The Cardiology Service offers a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures including Daytime Primary PCI, Elective PCI (with tools like Shockwave, IVUS, IFR, FFR), Brady Pacemaker implantation and follow-up, Cardioversion, Exercise Treadmill Testing, Tilt Testing, and ambulatory monitoring (Holter monitors, BP monitors and Loop recorder monitors). Our Cardiac Centre has 2 cathlabs, one of which is brand new.
We hold a Bi-Weekly Pacing/Cathlab meeting in which interesting cases are presented and discussed with an open-minded attitude, facilitating learning and development of clinical skills. We also produce constructive monthly pacing quality audit reports, incentivizing continuous improvement.
Our department has a strong track record for teaching and developing cardiac physiologists. As such, you will have the rewarding experience of contributing to someone else's career development by sharing your expert advice and guidance.

Main duties of the job
To participate in the provision of the cardiac rhythm management including inpatient Pacemaker/ICD/CRT checks, pre and post-op Pacemaker/ICD/CRT programming, pre and post-MRI scan Pacemaker programming, outpatient pacemaker clinic and remote monitoring.
To assist during the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the CathLab, including daytime Primary PCI, elective PCI (with Shockwave/IVUS/FFR/IFR), pacemaker implants and loop recorder implants.
To perform Pacing Quality Audit Reports.
To maintain high standards of technical competency in the provision of all technical cardiac procedures (invasive and non-invasive).
To effectively, promptly, and professionally respond to emergency situations maintaining control and requesting assistance as necessary.
To assist in the day-to-day management of procedures/workload/organisation within the department.
To act as a role model for junior members of the team and to contribute to their development.
To participate in the bi-weekly pacing/cathlab meeting, open-mindedly sharing and discussing interesting findings/cases, promoting suggestions for service improvement and providing training/teaching sessions.
To assist in the development of protocols, guidelines, and policies within the department.
