The role encompasses all shift types to meet departmental needs, requires individuals who are hard working, motivated and keen to further their development within a supportive culture You will be expected to use clinical and evidenced based knowledge and skills to actively contribute to service development across the perioperative pathway, identifying opportunities and supporting individuals in the delivery of high quality patient care.
The Operating Theatres are a really exciting and interesting place to work. Emergency cover is 24/7 365 days a year with on-call provision.This is a big opportunity in a vibrant Health Board, who is committed to staff education and development with a Perioperative Educator available to teach on site and support is provided through mentors and a highly experienced team.
Main duties of the job
To provide Anaesthesia care/assistance and develop skills through rotation through Anaesthetic areas.
Work towards the highest standards of patient care in Anaesthesia to reflect the standards and values of the Local Health Board.
Support the Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Support the Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead on duty in providing a safe, effective and efficient delivery of the service.
Support the development of students within the area.
Occasionally required to ensure an effective service in the absence of a Deputy Clinical Lead/ Clinical Lead.
This post is advertised as Welsh Essential. Candidates need to demonstrate Welsh Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. This isn't 'fluency'. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care and answering routine questions. If you're comfortable holding everyday conversations in Welsh, we encourage you to apply. You will be primarily based at Newtown Hospital, where you will provide a warm and welcoming first point of contact for patients attending the service. Your duties will include

Job summary
To undertake various cleaning duties as detailed by the online Supervisor in line with all legislative requirements.
To carry out duties in the various sections of the CPU including preparation and cleaning duties.
Assist in delivery of all frozen and dry goods and participate in the receipt of stores, stock rotation assistance in issuing of stores, heavy equipment etc.
Assist the Porter/Driver in loading and unloading freezer van with racks of food items for distribution.
To complete daily and weekly cleaning of all areas in accordance with COSSH departmental schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods, tasks to include cleaning of ovens, stoves, wall washing, floor maintenance, high cleaning, freezers & refrigerators etc via scrubbing machines and pressure cleaners.
Main duties of the job
Attend training sessions as and when necessary, and as requested by the General Manager.
Clean and store equipment, provisions, crockery, cutlery and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner and periodic cleaning of areas in accordance with department schedules and specification, tasks to include wall washing etc.
Document and complete temperature forms as required by legislation and to ensure that all documentation duties and procedures are maintained for efficiency and accuracy i.e. temperature of food and equipment.
Observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all staff.
Ensure segregation and prompt removal of waste to designated collection points, in accordance with the University Health Board's Safe Waste Handling Procedure.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner, and to follow a cleaning schedule on a daily basis to include the cleaning of floors, walls etc. as requested by the on-line Supervisor/Production Manager.
Be trained to operate the use of dishwasher/pot-wash and equipment associated with wash-up areas, and the use of scrubbing machines and pressure cleaners.
Sterilise equipment that is returned from unit sites in preparation for reissue of products.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join the domiciliary team within the Community Dental Service. This Band 4, full-time post offers the opportunity to support the delivery of dental care to a wide range of patients across Powys, including those who may face barriers in accessing traditional clinic-based services.
Working as part of a dedicated and supportive dental team, the postholder will provide support and contribute to the safe, effective delivery of care. This is a varied and rewarding role which will suit someone who enjoys working flexibly, building positive relationships, and making a real difference to patients and communities across Powys.
The successful candidate will be allocated a base clinic at Llandrindod Wells and will be expected to work flexibly across different locations where dental treatment is provided.
The postholder will develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the dental team, as well as with patients, parents, guardians, education providers, day centres, social services, other dental services, General Dental Practitioners, hospitals, medical practitioners, carers, care homes, nursing homes and dental material suppliers.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of the Dental team, preparing and monitoring patients for and during their treatment, providing pre and post-operative instructions.
Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment to provide a high standard of care for patients.
This rewarding role requires working autonomously when anticipating instruments required during procedures carried out by the clinician, mixing materials, and holding instruments in position.

We are looking for 2 staff members to join our housekeeping team working the following shift:
Monday - Friday 17:00 - 21:00
You will be working alongside another team member until all relevant training has been completed.
Main duties of the job
The evening shift will include the following:
Ensuring the water jugs are replenished ready for meal time
Ensure all top ups of toilet rolls, paper towels, hand soap and hand sanitizer are replenished.

The Family Health Worker will work within the Plymouth Public Health Nursing Team; which includes Health Visitors, School Nurses and Family Health Workers. The Public Health Nursing service work with children and young people aged 0-19-years; this role will primarily support children aged 0-5-years.

Main duties of the job
You will play a leading role in the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated national social marketing projects, designed to promote healthy behaviours amongst the Welsh public.
