Main Responsibilities:- You must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent and have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
- Process all relevant prescriptions and repeat prescriptions as authorised by GP's, Psychiatrist and Prescribing nurses, Pharmacists, Dentist where appropriate, in accordance with the good practice principles of the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme and follow SOPs;
- Ensure that all medicines and appliances dispensed are checked against the prescription and whenever there is doubt about the appropriateness of the item, or about the dose or labelling instructions, to check with the Clinical pharmacist, Pharmacy manager, Lead pharmacy technicians, Pharmacy technicians and authorising doctor or duty doctor;
- Collect all due prescription from the Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians.
- Get GP to sign the Controlled drug prescriptions prior to labelling and dispensing. If in doubt with the process, always check with the Pharmacist and team leader.
- Manage ordering stock, stock control daily, date checking and organise dispensary to ensure dispensary runs smooth and keep it neat and tidy.
- Answering and dealing with dispensary phone enquiries
- Monitoring stock level of controlled drugs and liaise with Clinical Pharmacist, Lead Pharmacy technician and Pharmacy Manager.
- Sorting and disposing of unwanted/returned medication.
- Any other duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the Dispensary as directed by the Pharmacy Manager, Team leader, Pharmacy technicians, Lead Pharmacist.
- You will collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return. You will participate in dispensing of prescriptions.
- You will be required to work on the substance misuse wing to administer medications to the patient under the supervision of Pharmacy technicians.
- You will transfer medications between the wings, at reception and assist pharmacy technicians when needed.

Main Responsibilities:- You must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent and have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
- Process all relevant prescriptions and repeat prescriptions as authorised by GP's, Psychiatrist and Prescribing nurses, Pharmacists, Dentist where appropriate, in accordance with the good practice principles of the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme and follow SOPs;
- Ensure that all medicines and appliances dispensed are checked against the prescription and whenever there is doubt about the appropriateness of the item, or about the dose or labelling instructions, to check with the Clinical pharmacist, Pharmacy manager, Lead pharmacy technicians, Pharmacy technicians and authorising doctor or duty doctor;
- Collect all due prescription from the Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians.
- Get GP to sign the Controlled drug prescriptions prior to labelling and dispensing. If in doubt with the process, always check with the Pharmacist and team leader.
- Manage ordering stock, stock control daily, date checking and organise dispensary to ensure dispensary runs smooth and keep it neat and tidy.
- Answering and dealing with dispensary phone enquiries
- Monitoring stock level of controlled drugs and liaise with Clinical Pharmacist, Lead Pharmacy technician and Pharmacy Manager.
- Sorting and disposing of unwanted/returned medication.
- Any other duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the Dispensary as directed by the Pharmacy Manager, Team leader, Pharmacy technicians, Lead Pharmacist.
- You will collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return. You will participate in dispensing of prescriptions.
- You will be required to work on the substance misuse wing to administer medications to the patient under the supervision of Pharmacy technicians.
- You will transfer medications between the wings, at reception and assist pharmacy technicians when needed.

The clinical fellow will work on the general obstetrics and gynaecology rota. This involves working a 1 in 8 on call rota on the junior registrar rota (ST3-5) comprising of 1 in 8 weekday days (Monday-Thursday 0830-2100), 1 in 8 weekday nights (Monday to Thursday 2000-0830) and 1 in 8 weekends of days (Saturday and Sunday 0830-2000) and nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2000-0830.
Main duties of the job
During the period of time where the fellow is covering the Acute Gynaecology Unit, there may be a weekend where they cover the AGU on call. When not on call, daytime duties will be on the junior registrar rota, providing care to women in the wide range of services offered by the department; these duties will include antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology ward rounds, gynaecology and antenatal clinics, gynaecology theatres and elective caesarean section lists. The daytime delivery suite cover is by a junior registrar (ST3-5) and consultant. The daytime gynaecology cover is provided by acute gynaecology fellows who run the acute gynaecology unit between 0830 and 2100 daily. St George's maternity unit has a strong track record of training in intrapartum fetal monitoring using a fetal physiology and the clinical fellow would be expected to attend weekly training sessions.

Sutton Primary Care Networks is the collaborative vehicle for the four Sutton PCNs and the former Sutton GP Federation working together as a single entity. We are a Community Interest Company that aims to reinvest surpluses back into general practice and primary care for the benefit of our practices and the people who form the communities we serve.
Sutton has four PCNs whose boundaries are based on historical relationships and groupings of organisations. There are some similarities of residents health and care needs unique to a particular PCN, and many more needs that are shared across all four PCNs.
Our four PCNs, represent all 21 GP surgeries around Sutton. Their collective footprints cover all of the London Borough of Sutton and its residents who are able to access and benefit from the services and improvements offered by Primary Care Networks.
Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are a key part of the NHS Long Term Plan, with all general practices being required to be in a network by June 2019, and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) being required to commit recurrent funding to develop and maintain them.
