The Directorate Substance Misuse (SMS) Lead is a senior leadership role within Practice Plus Group's Health in Justice service. The position provides strategic and professional leadership for substance misuse services across the region, ensuring services are safe, effective, recovery-focused, and deliver excellent patient outcomes. The role sits within the Directorate Leadership Team and works closely with operational, clinical, and external stakeholders.
Salary
This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.
You will receive an annual salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum.

Main duties of the job
As a Directorate Substance Misuse Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Provide professional leadership and expert guidance to substance misuse services across the directorate.
- Support site leaders and operational teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Lead strategic development and continuous improvement of psychosocial substance misuse services.
- Drive innovation and service redesign to improve patient outcomes and recovery rates.
- Promote a trauma-informed, person-centred approach to care.
- Ensure services meet contractual, regulatory, and clinical governance standards.
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, supervision, safeguarding, and case review processes.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate clinical and operational risks.
- Use performance data and patient feedback to improve services.
- Represent substance misuse services at regional and national levels.
- Support integrated care pathways and continuity of care for patients.
- Lead training, supervision, and professional development activities.
- Develop workforce capability through competency frameworks and best practice sharing.
- Support and mentor service leads, junior staff, and students.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Significant experience working in substance misuse services.
- Leadership experience within substance misuse, healthcare, or related services.
- Experience developing and improving services, with evidence of improved patient outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of recovery-focused models of care.
- Experience using NDTMS (National Drug Treatment Monitoring System).
- Experience of patient safety systems, quality assurance, and clinical governance.
- Experience supervising and supporting staff.
- Knowledge of both community and secure settings (such as prisons or justice services) is highly desirable.

An opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join a developing service Virtual Ward, working closely with the Urgent Community Response service within the Community Health and Integrated Care Division at EDGH on a 7 day services, covering weekdays and weekendsThe post holder will provide support across the Interface Services. The Interface Services include several teams comprising of Therapists, Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Integrated Support Workers. Together the Interface Services provide urgent and timely support to patients in their own homes in order to prevent unnecessary hospital admission, or alternatively provide additional assessment and support to facilitate a timely hospital discharge for patients in hospital.To help support service cover from 8am to 10pm Monday to Sundays. hours to be agreed on succession of interview
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide valuable administrative support to these teams, with responsibility for a range of tasks including; answering phones, managing the ordering of uniform, clinical stock, PPE and office supplies, managing staff personnel files, supporting with data extraction and contributing to daily reports, as well as providing ad hoc administrative support to staff as required. The post holder will work closely with administrative colleagues as well as Team Leads and Service Managers in order to contribute to efficient and effective processes across the services.

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our highly regarded Surrey Perinatal mental health service.
The role is for our NW team based in Chertsey. We offer a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR, Systemic Couples therapy, IPT, CFT, and ACT, and this role would be suitable for anyone interested in transgenerational patterns of trauma, attachment and parent and infant mental health. Our MDT consists of highly skilled, and psychologically minded professionals including Psychiatrists, perinatal mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, peer support workers and nursery nurses.
We are accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, highlighting the excellent and specialised care provided by the service. Our service aims to provide specialist and early help to parents and babies to help with a range of perinatal mental health issues. We are also involved in shaping trauma informed care in the perinatal period and thinking across wider services.
You will be one of a team of Psychologists who work in the three teams, we regularly meet for reflective practice and specialist supervision and have excellent training opportunities including opportunities to access specialist training such as EMDR, to develop an area of specialist interest and one's own style of working. Staff well-being and development are at the heart of our ambitions.
Main duties of the job
This Part time role involves providing individual and systemic support to women and their families within the community. The focus will be on delivering formulation based and NICE recommended psychological interventions to women with moderate to severe mental health difficulties who are pregnant or within 12 months of the postnatal period.
You will be responsible for supervision of Psychologists within the team and contribute to the supervision, consultation and training of the wider MDT.
We have a thriving group program which you will contribute to, and we welcome development of innovative clinical practice in all areas of our work. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision, and reflective practice, and will have support and supervision from the senior psychologist within the team.
All candidates should be registered with the HCPC, and eligible for BPS Chartered Status. The ability to work across Surrey is essential and a car is required.

Reigate Neighbourhood team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community mental health nurse or Health professional (CPN/HCPC) to join our team.
The team is moving through a transition to an All-Age Neighbouhood Mental Health Team to provide more joined up mental health care for our community.
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will deliver comprehensive assessments and a variety of approaches, interventions, and treatments to individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues, supporting them in their personal recovery journey.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to take lead and professional responsibility for a number of service users in primary care. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You must be committed to delivering a high-quality service, working both independently and as part of our well-established, innovative, and recovery-focused team to meet the needs of service users and their carers.
In addition to managing a defined caseload, the successful applicant will conduct initial assessments for clients referred to the service and support individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community. Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow - Gynaecology Oncology at the Whittington Health. This post does not carry any on call responsibilities.
The post holder will gain experience in gynaecological surgery and outpatient hysteroscopy under the supervision of the Lead Gynae Oncology Consultant. There is also an opportunity to gain experience in colposcopy if the candidate wishes.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills in advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic salpingo-oophorectomy, and open surgery.
The post holder will be expected to be actively involved in audit and research with regular research meetings to ensure progression.
There is further possibility for interested candidates to complete ATSM in outpatient hysteroscopy or colposcopy.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to offer experience in gynaecological surgery with a view to becoming proficient in all aspects of complex gynaecological surgery, particularly minimal access therapy. They will be an integral part of the diagnostic pathway for patients with suspected gynaecological cancer, providing outpatient services including, hysteroscopy and / or ultrasound. Excellent communication skills with both patients and staff are expected, in particular counselling skills in breaking bad news and supporting patients on the cancer journey. The post holder will be expected to participate in MDT meetings.

Cygnet Delfryn Lodge has 24 beds and provides a flexible mental health rehabilitation service for women, including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community / Open Rehabilitation (Level 1). This dual-level rehabilitation model ensures that women receive the support they need while developing independence at their own pace.
Rhyd Alyn is a six bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for women who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge. We also accept referrals from other high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services as well as directly from the community.

Cygnet Delfryn Lodge provides a flexible mental health rehabilitation service for women, including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community / Open Rehabilitation (Level 1). Rhyd Alyn is a six bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for women who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge. We also accept referrals from other high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services as well as directly from the community.

Rhyd Alyn is a six bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for women who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge. We also accept referrals from other high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services as well as directly from the community.
The RMO is the doctor onsite covering on calls between 5pm and 9am and weekend shifts. Generally the RMO will work on a rota of 4 days on / 4 days off.
