Band 2 Receptionist (Florey Sexual Health Clinic)
This is a full-time post for 37.5 hours per week.
PLEASE NOTE: The post will include working shifts between 07:00-19:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00-13:00 Saturday.
The Florey Sexual Health Clinic is looking for a full-time band 2 Receptionist to join our busy Reception team.
Reception is the first point of contact within our busy and extremely sensitive service andtherefore a friendly, unprejudiced, sympathetic, mature attitude with excellent communication andinterpersonal skills at all levels are essential qualities of the successful applicant.
We are looking for a team player with great communication and excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards work.
Please note: The advert will close early if we receive a sufficient number of applications.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be a confident and reliable individual who is flexible and who adapts well to change.
This role will involve booking appointments, greeting patients, and carrying out an effective telephone triage booking service. You will be required to work individually and also within a team.
To be considered for this post you will need GCSE or an equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics and be computer literate.
Previous NHS experience is not required, but customer-facing experience is desired.

We are recruiting forCommunity Urgent Care GP rolesacross our SDEC sites at Witney, Abingdon, and Henley Community.
This is a brilliant opportunity for interested GPs to be part of a new team and way of working, that is both innovative and integrated. As a Community Urgent Care (CUC) GP, working for the people of Oxfordshire, your role will be varied, interesting, and ultimately rewarding. Our Primary, Community and Dental Care Directorate comprises of several services which provide same day, acute and urgent care to patients, close to, or where possible, in their own home as a safe alternative to secondary care.
Your priority will be to help support and deliver our CUC services, which operate 7 days a week, 8am till 8pm, working at one or more of our community same day emergency care units (cSDEC), taking a hands-on role to provide acutely unwell patients with further assessment and treatment as an alternative to secondary care. There are also opportunities to learn,teachand engage in personal development activities.
This is a substantive role and full time/part-time hours are available - flexible hours can be considered that fit with the service model. Shifts are between 9 and 12 hours (including unpaid breaks) arranged Monday-Friday.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high quality clinical care and assessments
- In accordance with the agreed job plan, undertake a variety of duties which may include community Same Day Emergency Care (cSDEC) consultations, same day home visits and telephone consultations
- Deliver personalised, evidence informed medical assessments and care plans to all patients you interface with in the pathway, in person or remotely
- Provide advice and timely medical reviews and interventions as part of the inter-disciplinary model of care
- Support and actively manage admission avoidance to acute hospitals and keeping patients closer or in their own home
- Adhere to local prescribing guidelines
- Work in close partnership and liaison with Primary Care, acute and specialist services, urgent and ambulatory care, Hospital at Home, Single Point of Access (SPA), Community Services (such as Integrated Locality Teams, Community Therapy Service), Social Services, Mental Health Services and Voluntary Services both clinically and in relation to service development
- Co-ordinate the clinical care and appropriate support in collaboration with clinical and management colleagues to ensure the quality of outcomes for patients and carers
- Requirement to work at another of our base sites (Henley, Witney and Abingdon) in exceptional circumstances e.g. acute sickness

Our specialist community team of nurses helps people to manage more complex needs whilst our Hospice at Home team supports people to remain in their own homes by providing practical care and support.
Our inpatient unit (IPU) at Kenton Grange cares for people in their final days, providing intensive care to help get symptoms under control or give respite care. Many of the people who are cared for in our IPU go home again.

As a Safeguarding Practitioner (Family Approach), you will:
*Provide specialist safeguarding advice, support, and supervision to NHS staff.

Job summary
Neurophysiology are seeking to recruit 2 Clinical Physiologists or Clinical Scientists dependent on qualification/registration.
Based at the Birmingham Treatment Centre (BTC) we also provide inpatient Neurophysiology diagnostic services from the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), which opened in October 2024.
Applicants should hold a relevant Neurophysiology degree and ideally for undergraduates, ANS professional exams. Registration with Academy of Healthcare Science is essential or HCPC for those with a relevant Neurophysiology Masters degree or equivalence.
Duties will include all EEG modalities including sleep, ambulatory and portable EEG and independent nerve conduction clinics, screening for carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy or peripheral neuropathy. In addition the candidate will contribute to the running of the service on a day to day basis and areas of particular interest will be supported.
CPD is encouraged and the team meet monthly for staff and quality meetings to improve the service for the benefit of patients.
There is some requirement of training junior members of the team or wider health care professions.
Main duties of the job
- Performs a range of neurophysiology diagnostic tests and produces factual reports.
- Participates in the out of hours on call EEG rota; approximately one Sunday morning every 2 months.
- Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
- Rotates between BTC and MMUH, approximately 4:1.
- Supervision of junior staff
- Participate in quality assurance, audit and/or research and development programmes

Job summary
The Department of Clinical Health Psychology (South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust) has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to come and join our well established and supportive team based in Stratford upon Avon. This full-time post is split between the Clinical Health Psychology service and our specialist Pain Management Psychology service.
Both services provides a range of psychologically informed, evidence-based interventions to alleviate distress and promote psychological wellbeing for the people of South Warwickshire who may be struggling with their chronic pain and/or physical health condition. In the specialist pain management service this valued role involves working as part of the multidisciplinary team. In the Clinical Health Psychology service, work may also include supporting staff with work-related issues, and through consultation and supervision.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working with people in a physical health setting. Whilst experience of working within physical health is ideal we would love to hear about other relevant experience too.Applications from newly qualified psychologists interested in a band 7 preceptorship are also welcome.
The post will be based at our department at Stratford Healthcare and will involve both face to face and remote working. Some work will also necessitate travel to Warwick Hospital and other locations across the patch.
Main duties of the job
Development and provision of high quality specialised clinical psychology input and advice to patients and staff working in the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
To provide specialist clinical health psychology assessment and therapy to patients. To provide advice and consultation on patient care to colleagues and carers. To utilise research skills for audit, service development and research.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise individual responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the role. To support workforce development by offering training and supervision as required

Job summary
The post holder is required to provide comprehensive administrative service to the STACC SLT, including a full range of personal assistant duties to the Deputy Director or Op, Deputy Director or Nursing and, Clinical Lead, and departmental multidisciplinary team (inc. medical, nursing, and allied healthcare professionals). Communicate with both internal and external partners and with clinical and non-clinical staff / individuals.
Relay information in a sensitive manner between professionals, external agencies, and clinical staff.

Maintain staff and patient communication boards ensuring content is relevant for the service and its users.

Person Specification Experience Essential Experience in public affairs, either in-house, for an agency, or having worked in government or Parliament. Experience in contributing to the delivery of public affairs plans and campaigns designed to meet organisational objectives. Proven ability to support the delivery of integrated communications plans and use appropriate channels to reach targeted audiences. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and maintain effective relationships with a variety of audiences, including senior colleagues and external stakeholders. Experience drafting briefings and providing clear, concise political insight, including against tight deadlines if required. Excellent written skills with the ability to produce highquality copy for political and stakeholder audiences. Good organisational and project management skills, with an ability to identify opportunities for proactive communications. Desirable Experience of working within healthcare communications, a membership body, and/or a communications agency. Knowledge of the health and care environment, including policy processes and political context. Experience supporting external events aimed at government and/or political audiences.
