Job summary
This is a fixed term role for 12 months. We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join the genomics team within the central laboratory of the Yorkshire and North East Genomic Laboratory Hub. The role will be based within the Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (HMDS) in Leeds, with a focus on haemato-oncology molecular work. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly successful department with extensive facilities and high levels of scientific expertise. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development and delivery of a high-quality genomics service. The post holder will work other scientists, both within HMDS and across the central laboratory at Leeds.
Main duties of the job
HMDS provides a specialist service for the diagnosis of blood cancers and is part of the central laboratory for the Yorkshire and North East Genomic Laboratory Hub. The laboratory is the largest of its type in the United Kingdom with a high throughput of specimens including peripheral blood, bone marrow and tissue biopsies. The department also has a strong research programme and there will also be opportunity to be involved in development projects related to research and clinical trials.

Job summary
The purpose of this role is to deliver safe, high quality, patient-centred clinical research across Suffolk Primary Care (SPC), as a member of our dedicated and growing Research Team.
The role involves using an in-depth knowledge of research protocols and their application in practice, working closely with GPs, practice teams, sponsors and research partners to deliver a diverse portfolio of commercial and non-commercial studies across a range of therapeutic areas.
This vacancy is for a total of 15 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:
Providing high quality, patient-focused clinical research across Suffolk Primary Care
Identifying and screening potentially eligible research participants
Providing clear, appropriate information and support to patients and participants
Undertaking study recruitment, informed consent and participant enrolment in accordance with study protocols and GCP
Supporting high levels of participant retention and engagement
Coordinating study visits, treatments and interventions as required by individual protocols
Undertaking clinical assessments, observations, blood sampling and other research procedures as required
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical and research documentation, including electronic case report forms and study records
Working collaboratively with Principal Investigators, practice teams, sponsors, CROs and other research stakeholders
Travelling between SPC practices as required to support recruitment and study delivery. Our practices are based in Framlingham, Debenham, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Brandon & Newmarket

The purpose of this role is to deliver safe, high-quality research within and across Suffolk Primary Care. The research nurse will support the existing Suffolk Primary Care Research team to improve the set-up time and implementation of clinical research and ultimately patient care. The role involves using an in-depth knowledge of research protocols and their application in practice, alongside a working knowledge and compliance with the local, national and international research regulations. The post holder will demonstrate effective professional nurse standards, advocacy and performance.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Assess protocols and advise on safety, regulatory and logistical issues for the set-up and running of the study/trial to ensure the well-being and safety of patients, participants and staff.
Provide participants with specialist information regarding their participation, including risk factors.
Provide a high standard and continuity of care for participants during the research study, maintaining lines of communication with clinical staff.
Act as a resource to participants, their families and staff from within the clinical area, providing information and support; and to act as an effective referral to other support agencies where necessary.
Achieve and maintain defined competencies for clinical research to ensure that capability, skill and knowledge are appropriate for the work undertaken.
Work within dedicated clinical research teams; ensure ethical and clinical safe practice.
Undertake, with appropriate training, interventional treatments directly to participants according to study/trial protocol and procedures and record the resulting information.
Take and process clinical samples (e.g. venepuncture/cannulation) for studies, coordinate tissue sample collection and dispatch to relevant department or trial centre as appropriate.

Job summary
This role is part of a new and exciting service providing forensic community service to a specialist group who require expert interventions. The FIND service works with adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability (LD) and/or Autism (ASD) who also experience additional mental illness, co-morbid neurodevelopmental conditions, or behaviours which challenge and who have had contact with forensic services.
The team covers the London boroughs of Wandsworth, Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Richmond. The team is informed by principles of assertive outreach and largely follows the PACT model.
The team is multidisciplinary and currently comprises of a Psychiatrist, Team Manager, Psychologist, Social Worker, Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Assistant Psychologist and an Office Manager. Patients are seen at their homes and hostels and at a variety of community locations, and the job therefore involves a considerable amount of travel. The post holder will be responsible to the Team Manager and will receive professional supervision from the senior Social Worker.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work within the Forensic service, providing support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism leaving secure mental health services across the South London Partnership (SLP) and those in the community.
The post holder will provide a high-quality service to an agreed caseload of service users and their carer's, which will include care co-ordination and social supervision. The MDT team is a team of multi professionals with specialist skills and experience with the client group.
The post holder must be adept at prioritising the activities that will provide the most efficient, effective and safe step down or discharge pathway and escalate any conditions that will prevent this from happening. The post holder will also provide consultation, support and guidance to colleagues and service users in the community to reduce engagement with the criminal justice system.

Job summary
The Sutton Early Intervention team is a friendly multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists CBT therapist, family intervention therapist and an employment specialist.
We aim to provide a comprehensive package of care for people age 18-65 living in Sutton who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. This is a 3 day a week fixed term post (until end of July 2027) in Sutton Early Intervention for Psychosis team for a CBT therapist to provide psychological therapies to service users who have experienced a first episode of psychosis.
You would work as part of a supportive team of clinical psychologists and CBT therapists. Experience working with psychosis is desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job
You will provide cognitive behaviour therapy to patients referred to the Sutton Early Intervention Team. This will include providing specialist cognitive behavioural therapy assessment and therapy for people who have experienced a first episode of psychosis as well as other difficulties such as anxiety, depression and trauma. There will also be opportunities to develop experience in family interventions for psychosis.

Job summary
The enhanced clinical level of this role will require you to be able to undertake enhanced level comprehensive assessment including history taking, physical examination of the patient and a robust systems review. You should be able to assess and manage frailty and complex chronic disease, identify deterioration and implement immediate strategies to reduce the risk of acute admission. Furthermore you will need to be able to recognise the early symptoms of disease exacerbation, acute illness and injuries, based on an understanding of chronic diseases, the disease process, current evidence and practice standards.
You should be competent to recognise that a person is deteriorating and advanced care planning might be appropriate. You will be expected to recognise that the person is coming into the last days of life and that dying phased care is appropriate.
You should be competent to undertake a level 3 medication review and the non medical prescribing qualification would be beneficial or alternatively a commitment to develop your skills by undertaking the module in due course.

Job summary
A valuable substantive job opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated band 6 practitioner (RMN) to work within the team. This is an innovative service commissioned for Merton residents, serving as the primary access point for mental health referrals into secondary care. The post holder will be responsible for conducting mental health assessments for people who are referred by a variety of agencies, including self-referrals, and the post holder will contribute to the triaging of these cases by conducting risk assessments by variable forms of communication including telephone, e-consultation and face to face review. These assessments will be conducted at the Wilson Hospital site and variable community settings such as patient homes depending on the nature of need identified during the triage process. The post holder will also be responsible for identifying safeguarding concerns, and undertaking plans of action to help mitigate/reduce identified safeguarding risks.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will carry an assessment caseload and be responsible for the management and planning of those service users, under the supervision of the Team Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist, including discharge to alternative primary care services, or onward referral to secondary care or specialist teams within the trust. The Post holder will also require a degree of autonomy, and robust assessment/formulating skills are essential. Experience in crisis management and an ability to work flexibly will be an advantage given the high volume of referrals.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and creative Band 5 Physiotherapist to join North Kerrier community therapy teams, and also Newquay inpatient therapy team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will be working with a complex and varied caseload, covering a wide variety of conditions including, orthopaedics, MS, MND, Parkinson's, amputees, falls and frailty. Every visit and treatment plan are different, bringing variety and challenge to each working day.
You will be very well supported by our experienced and highly skilled team of Band 6 and 7 therapists and nurses across all teams, with opportunities for joint work and shadowing more specialist services, attending our monthly in service training. We full encourage and support training for further development identified in regular supervision and appraisals.

The role of the Acute Frailty Unit Navigator is to work with the Registered Nurse and other members of the multi-professional team, providing and monitoring high quality care and contributing to the ongoing assessment, as agreed with supervising clinician(s) and in line with the service pathways. This post is based within the Wolverhampton and Sandwell Cancer Service and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a compassionate, psychologically informed, and highly collaborative multidisciplinary cancer pathway. The successful applicant will provide highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for individuals affected by cancer, supporting patients and, where appropriate, their families and carers throughout different stages of diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, recurrence, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
The role involves working with people presenting with a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties associated with cancer and complex physical health conditions, including adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, fear of recurrence, body image concerns, existential distress, relationship challenges, and complex grief.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support people and families through periods of uncertainty, emotional adjustment, treatment burden, and changing health needs within a compassionate multidisciplinary environment. Main duties of the job
1.0. Provides highly specialist psychological assessment of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources, which may include neuropsychological testing.

Responsible for recognising the potential for or signs of client harm, abuse or neglect, including poor clinical practice, reporting all such concerns and taking all reasonable steps to protect the client. The Barts Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) team is looking to recruit a motivated Genetic Counsellor to join our dynamic team. Main duties of the job
The aim of this service is to provide genetic counselling for patients with cardiovascular conditions, primarily focusing on inherited cardiomyopathies. The post holder will provide appropriate testing for patients and their relatives, adhering to national testing criteria. Applicants must be able to deliver patient and family centered care, whilst ensuring adequate follow-up, documentation and risk management.
In addition to direct patient care, applicants are expected to contribute to the development of the field of cardiac genetics. The post-holder will participate in research and it's dissemination, by contributing to both publication and education. Thereby, furthering MDT knowledge and understanding of this fascinating group of conditions and, therefore, improving patient care.

We are seeking a Maternity Care Assistant - band 3 to join our team at our Basildon site to work across all areas of Maternity.
The appointed candidate will be responsible for supporting Midwives with providing care to women and babies and completing observations to monitor the well being of both.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

Duties will include working in various departments including the main reception, working in minor injury unit, out-patient and inpatient areas, working with out-patient and MIU staff and also working within the ward, where you will provide support to the inpatient team working with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work autonomously within police custody suites, assessing and caring for detainees with a wide range of physical health, mental health, substance misuse and vulnerability-related needs.
