Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Medical Illustration Department provide a high standard photography, video and graphic design service.
Based at our main department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, you will gain exposure to all aspects of clinical photography undertaking clinical photography in many specialities across CTMUHB such as Dermatology, Maxillofacial, Ophthalmology, ENT, Tissue Viability, Theatre and many more.
Main duties of the job
This post is fixed term/secondment for 10 months from start date due to funding. Anyone wishing to apply for the post as a secondment must seek approval from their Line Manager before applying.
To work in a team of clinical photographers to produce clinical photographs/video to aid patient care, diagnosis, teaching, research, and publications.
The post holder will provide a range of photographic knowledge and skills to support a variety of multidisciplinary teams, across a range of clinical specialties within the organisation.
Working in a variety of clinical environments, the post holder will use a combination of standardised and non-standardised photographic techniques.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work across Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Services, which will include Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.
Main duties of the job
The role of a Practitioner is to work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing a comprehensive assessment of people presenting in crisis. You will undertake detailed assessments of people's needs and use your clinical skills and knowledge to provide intervention and treatment.
The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service which includes Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services and the Crisis Line.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
Our innovative and dynamic Immunisation teams are dedicated to improving immunisation uptake and delivering the national evidence-based Schools' Immunisation Programmes. We are hiring a registered nurse to work 14 hours per week, on an annualised contract, working 42 weeks a year. The applicant must a full UK driving license and access to a car during their working day.
The role encompasses responsibility for clinical delivery of vaccinations and patient safety, specialist advice on immunisation issues, and the opportunity to develop skills in both independent and team working.
We welcome applicants who can demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly and cooperatively with colleagues both within their own team and the wider multidisciplinary teams across the whole SCFT area. You will need to be motivated, conscientious and committed to supporting us to maintain high vaccination coverage across Sussex.
The team visits several schools across the county every day, so you would be likely to visit a different school each day during school term time and carry out catch-up clinics during the school holidays. We currently offer HPV and Teenage booster vaccinations in secondary schools and nasal spray flu vaccinations to eligible cohorts within schools. We also offer the neonatal BCG programme and other immunisations, such as MMR in clinic.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidates will deliver a high quality immunisation service within a variety of settings in the community working with patients and other partners to increase immunisation rates.They will also participate in the day to day immunisation sessions/clinics determined by the Immunisation Nurse Specialist and when required, motivate people to have immunisations.
Please note: This is a part-time role and due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules, this role is unlikely to be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to progress. We are looking for a keen and driven university graduate who holds an IBMS specialist portfolio.
The post holder will be based in Cellular Pathology Department at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and will be expected to work across sites. This is a full-time vacancy of 37.5 hours between Monday-Friday and weekend shifts by rotation.
It is essential you have a BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent. You must be able to demonstrate an active knowledge of and experience in a routine Histology Laboratory.
Cellular Pathology houses several sub-specialities including histopathology, cytopathology, electron microscopy, a muscle biopsy service, a specialist Bone and Soft tissue Tumour service, Andrology service, as well as a postmortem suite, and mortuary. The laboratory receives and processes a wide range of tissue samples including approximately ninety thousand histological specimens and 7000 non-gynae cytology fluid-based samples per year.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work across the full range of services provided by the Histology Department, including dissection/loading, embedding, microtomy, Special stains, and IHC.
As a Specialist biomedical scientist the post holder will be following standard operating procedures, and support the implementation of improved or best practice. All work will be in keeping with the laboratory quality management system. This will include the effective use of laboratory procedural and other records, maintenance of assets/analysers, and supporting with the resolution of corrective and preventative actions.
The Cellular Pathology Department is undergoing a busy period of development, with upgrades to IT systems, the introduction of Digital Pathology, and a desire to develop the workforce into a range of laboratory, line management, and advanced practice roles.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Chorley Community Mental Health Team.The successful candidates will work with service users who have a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) who are currently on CMHT caseloads. You will deliver Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to a caseload of service users within the community setting. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion with the team.
SCM is recognised as the gold standard of care for people with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). It is evidenced based and in line with NICE guidelines. SCM has been selected by the trust as the approach to implement within the personality disorder pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop specific skills in line with evidence-based treatment and be involved in providing support for service users to recover, develop autonomy and no longer require secondary mental health services.
Main duties of the job
As well as direct face to face contact with the service user and group work, it is expected that the post holder will be able to engage with the wider community system (A&E, police, inpatient and community settings) and support them to deliver evidence-based practice.
Supervision is an integral part of this job you will be supported with regular access to supervision on a consistent basis. Clinical supervision will be provided by the Specialist Practitioners.It is desirable to have some knowledge of SCM and also an interest in working with people with personality disorder.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join the Gastroenterology team within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM UHB).
This vacancy will be based at the Princes of Wales Hospital (POWH) in Bridgend but the successful candidate will be required to work across CTM.
The successful candidate will be part of the Senior Clinician team that manage the Gastroenterology ward at POWH as well as joining the Gastrointestinal bleed rota for CTM.

Main duties of the job
o Work with the rest of the consultant body to provide strong professional leadership within the department and deliver a high-quality service following clear departmental policies and guidelines.

o Follow UpToDate evidence-based practice for patients under their care to deliver safe and robust gastroenterology management: allowing for proper delegation to, and training of staff, to ensure that concise agreed management plans are clearly documented in the medical notes of all patients.
o Undertake ward rounds to identify and assess problems, plan management of care, and be actively available during the working week so that medical and nursing staff can communicate and consult freely.
o Ensure that an appropriate model of care is adopted which recognises the involvement of the multi-disciplinary team, the holistic needs of the patient and their family.
o Ensure that the use of medical and nursing resources within the department are utilised to the maximum potential.
o Develop and maintain good communication with clinical colleagues across the Health Board regarding the treatment of their patients and the appropriate use of the department's resources.

Job summary
We are looking for highly motivated HCPC-registered Band 6 Biomedical Scientists to join the Specialist Services Team within the Laboratory Medicine Service at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The Laboratory Medicine Team seeks to modernise our service by embracing new ways of working, committing to developing our knowledge and skills and actively seeking to develop a professional multidisciplinary team across the Service that provides a 24/7 365, year-round service for our patients.
In this role, you will be part of a rotational team that provides the specialised laboratory services using specialist analytical techniques such as flow cytometry, protein electrophoresis, spectrometry, immunofluorescence, mass spectrometry and specialist coagulation techniques. As part of future planning, this role will include out-of-hours working within Specialist Sections.
The Specialist laboratories are well equipped with equipment from suppliers such as Sebia, Werfen, Sysmex, BD, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Aesku and The Binding Site.
Ideally the post holder will have existing knowledge and skills in specialist analytical techniques such as those listed above, however we welcome applications from candidates who are interested in developing their knowledge and skills specialist analytical techniques.
Salary: Initially Annex 21 Band 6 - 70%, progressing to 75% after year 2.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Specialist BMS you will provide a comprehensive Laboratory Medicine service to aid the effective screening, diagnosis, monitoring of patients. You will deputise for senior staff and assist in the training and supervision of junior members of the team.
The Laboratory Medicine Service is a 24/7/365 operation and a flexible approach to working hours is required. Once competency has been achieved you will be expected to participate in the out of hours rota and expected to work at any of the networked laboratory sites as required.
Candidates will be expected to have completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio or have significant years of experience as a Band 6 - this is a requisite for employment at Band 6 Biomedical Scientist AfC grade.
If you have completed your IBMS Specialist Portfolio and are awaiting assessment please clearly indicate this in your application.
Consideration will be given to candidates who are already working towards completion of the IBMS Specialist Portfolio and will initially be paid on the Band 6 Biomedical Scientist AfC scale as per our Annex 21 framework. If you are part-way through your Specialist Portfolio, please indicate how much you have completed and a timescale for anticipated completion in your application.
Trainee Specialist BMS - Applicants who do not hold the full qualifications will be considered for a trainee position and will be subject to Annex 21 of Band 6. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, our Registered Managers are responsible for providing strong and effective leadership to the onsite team in order to ensure the integrity of all f unctions within the service to include; Clinical, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Support Services. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running and strategic direction of the hospital.
To be compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and to ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory and service development targets are met. You will also implement risk assessment, risk management and embed clinical governance within the hospital.
To be responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of client care and employee engagement.
Ensure effective bed management and coordination of referrals and assessments of patients in conjunction with the Clinical / Deputy Manager.
In this role, you will also lead on appropriate investigations (as required), participate in audit requirements and ensure all group policies and procedures are adhered to. Reviewing and developing potential opportunities for improved quality and commercial growth is also a key requirement.

Job summary

Job summary
We are excited to recruit to the role of Senior Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner (Band 7) in Hertfordshire's HaLo Primary Care Network (PCN) covering the following GP surgeries in the St Albans area:

The role will involve travel between the PCN sites as well as travel to HPFT sites for things such as mandatory training.
You will work alongside other clinicians within the PCN as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will need to be able to work autonomously to triage, assess, case manage and discharge a patient without referral to a GP where appropriate.
You must be able to advise on medications, identify and intervene to meet social needs, order investigations and refer on to secondary care services where necessary.
You will act as a first point of contact in primary care. You will accept referrals for triage via agreed routes within the PCN. You will offer rapid and autonomous 'first contact' assessment and promote early treatment by supporting people directly into appropriate mental health pathways across both the statutory and voluntary sectors and will provide short term interventions on the telephone, via video link options, at the surgery or in the person's home where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
You will provide mental health assessment and brief interventions to service users in GP surgeries.
Your tasks will include early triage, assessment, treatment, risk management, identifying and dealing with safeguarding concerns as well as contributing to case discussions and service-related meetings across the adult mental health primary care pathway ensuring good links with secondary care services.
You will coordinate the time limited care of primary care-based service users delivering integrated care which takes account of social care needs. You will be someone who enjoys adapting and learning as you contribute to embedding this new role into primary care.
You will also take a leading role for service innovation and development in primary care mental health. This could include projects with other junior staff to ensure delivery of safe and effective primary care mental health services and making a significant contribution to the development and leadership of mental health services within Primary Care Networks. The PCN Care Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of services across the Primary Care Network (PCN), working with 9 GP practices that collectively serve a population of more than 100,000 patients. Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for aqualifiedEducational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) who wishes to join an existing school based Mental Health Support Team (MHST).
The post-holder will work in the East MHST which is a fully established MHST. The is a caring and supportive environment to work in with good leadership providing clear objectives and direction with regular supervision. The team supports 56 educational settings across the borough and we have built solid working relationships with each setting.
All applicants must be registered, or in the process of registering, with the BPS or BABCP as part of the Wider Psychological Workforce.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve working alongside qualified and trainee EMHPs/CWPs, Senior Practitioners and a Team Leader. The service provides early interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns in an educational setting.
The Mental Health Support Teams operate year-round, providing support to young people during school holidays in addition to term time. The core hours will be Monday - Friday 9-5 but some work (facilitation of group work/workshops) may be required outside of these times.
The post-holder will work with people of different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with education staff,
- Be on site at allocated educational settings each day of the week,
- Provide 1-1interventions such as low intensity CBT (guided self-help)for children, young people, parent/carers and school staff,
- Group interventions,
- Workshops for children, young people, parent/carers and school staff
- Drop-in surgeries for children, young people and school staff,
- Facilitate co-production to support service development,
- Support the team in resource development,
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade which may be required to enable effective and efficient running of the service.
The aim of these interventions is to:
- Reduce stigma around Mental Health,
- Enhance emotional wellbeing by promoting and building resilience in children and young people through educational workshops, assemblies and PSHE lessons.
- Deliver psycho-education and support to parent/carers and teachers to improve their understanding of children and young peoples needs.
- Support children and young people at the early stages of emotional wellbeing challenges to prevent further Mental Health intervention later in life.

- Successful completion of the HEE commissioned 1yr 'Education Mental Health Practitioner' or the 'Child and Young Persons Psychological Wellbeing Practice' course
- A further relevant degree qualification
Desirable
- Teaching qualification
- Youth Mental Health First Aid trained
PREVIOUS EXPERIENC
Essential
- Experience of working with children and young people, their families and others
- Experience of working and liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders
- Experience working in a service which has agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcomes.
- Experience in using electronic clinical records and data collection system
- Experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, and those who have experienced a mental health problem
- Experience of working with anxiety disorders, affective (mood) disorders
- Experience of the delivery of specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people or their families (e.g. CBT, solution focused brief therapy)

- Experience of working with children and their families in a healthcare and education setting
- Experience of monitoring and recording outcome measures for children's emotional wellbeing
