An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist in the Cardio-Respiratory Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Main duties of the job

To ensure all Imaging referrals are processed in a timely and efficient manner using multiple IT applications including Order Comms/ICE System, Medway and Radiology Information Systems.

To provide accurate examination information to patients, liaise with Consultants, Radiographer and Sonographers to ensure correct appointment slots are used to maintain a professional and high-quality service.
Main duties of the job
- Receive and process all Imaging referrals efficiently and timely whilst helping to maintain National and Local standards
- Maintain a good understanding of the Radiology Information System in order to create and locate imaging records to support patient care.
- When required, register patients on to the Hospital Medway system if no record can be found on RIS system prior to booking an appointment.
- Ensure all appointments are booked on the Radiology Information System (RIS) using the agreed, up to date, booking rules for each modality.
- Ensure all referrals are placed on the received request list and then allocate, as necessary, examinations for vetting prior to booking an appointment.
- When booking appointments, interpret all examination referral requests to ensure the correct examination is booked and an appropriate appointment with the correct preparation is sent out to the patient - checking that the appointment is well within the breach date.
- Ensure all appointments are booked into the correct room and onto the correct consultant/sonographer list.
- Liaise with clinical staff across the Department to ensure clinical justification/priority is determined.
- Monitor all modality rotas for any changes to clinic/appointment times and adjust booking rules accordingly.

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Paediatric receptionist within the Paediatric Department on a 12month fixed term contract. Predominantly based on the two paediatric wards Dolphin and Sunshine, however you will also be covering shifts Children's Outpatients and back office administration.

St Giles Surgery has been establish in Camberwell for over 30 years. The team moved to a purpose built premises which are shared with our neighbouring practice Brunswick Park. Many patients have been registered with us since the onset. We are patient focused and always try to offer the best possible patient care within our control. The whole team is passionate about making a difference for our patients and improving local population health and living.
Our list has grown significantly over the years and has continued to grow. We regularly review our catchment area, ensuring we are inclusive and offering services to our immediate population.
We also offer many additional services and are always keen to pilot any new service that could benefit our local population. We work closely with our federation and are active within our Primary Care Network. We try to host as many services as possible as we believe having the services in-house, enables our patients to feel comfortable accessing the range of professionals available. We currently offer appointments with: Mental Health Practitioner, Wellbeing Coach, Social Prescriber, First Contact Physio and a Care Coordinator. In addition to this we have two PCN pharmacists as well as an employed pharmacists supporting the clinical team and patients with medication queries, compliance and monitoring. EPUT is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Home First team based at Derwent Centre, Harlow, Essex.
The Home First Team provides crisis care in the community and sits within the Trust's Urgent Care Pathway. The team works closely with the three community mental health teams in West Essex based in Epping Forest, Harlow and Uttlesford, who may refer patients who are in a mental health crisis and requiring more assertive management and intensive monitoring in the community. The Home First Team also plays an important role in helping the Trust achieve its Flow and Capacity targets which are in place to ensure effective utilisation of inpatient hospital beds. The Home First Team will "gatekeep" admission to mental health wards with a view to assessing whether the patient could be supported in the community with the Home First Team, thereby avoiding admission. Further, the Home First Team may support inpatient wards in proactively discharging patients who are recovering and now able to be supported in the community.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder is required to work independently and accountably as part of a team of clinicians offering Mental Health services. Working collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing a 7 day a week, 24 hours a day service for 365 days a year.
You must have full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register, with an appropriate CCT or equivalent or be within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the AAC.

Team Leader -- Therapeutic Radiographer
UHB are looking to recruit 2 Therapeutic Radiographer Team Leaders. You will be confident, highly motivated, and forward thinking with a passion for patient care and service development.
You will be joining a team of circa 120 staff that deliver one of the highest percentages of IG-IMRT treatments in the U.K and treats a large number of SABR patients for all commissioned indications. Our breast patients are treated with SGRT, & DIBH is offered to all appropriate patients who have left sided breast cancer.We are one of two leading centres delivering radiotherapy for paediatrics in the Midlands that specialises in SGRT, intensity-modulated TBI& CSRT.
In addition, we are also a reference site for VisionRT and Accuray.
The department has undergone significant change with new programmes of work aimed directly at supporting our excellent Radiographers, as a Team Leader you can expect 1:1 additional support from our Tech Leads and SMT, and department delivered programmes aimed at the development you need to achieve your career aspirations.
You will also be joining a team who have a strong commitment and passion for radiographer development, and there have been opportunities for our staff to present their work at prestigious conferences such as ESTRO and UKIO.
Main duties of the job
You will be a highly experienced radiographer responsible for managing a treatment unit and leading a team of radiographers to provide safe and accurate highly specialised radiotherapy treatment.
You will manage a clinical workload ensuring that all treatments and procedures are delivered safely and correctly, maintaining high standards of technical and patient care. There is a requirement to work at an advanced level promoting best practice, giving expert advice, support and guidance to junior staff and the multidisciplinary team.
You will also Work with the wider team on operational input into the department and staff related matters as well as providing Mentoring & Coaching to support the development of junior staff. In addition to the staff responsibilities within your control room, you will also take direct responsibility for your staff 1:1's, appraisals and work programmes to support their development.
As a Team Leader Therapeutic Radiographer, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours to accommodate service demands and an essential requirement to be able to cover extended day working Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 8pm. In addition, there is a requirement to work occasional bank holidays and some occasional weekends.

The Asset, Quality and Contracts officer falls within the Digital Services Assurance department which follows the ITIL standards of Service Management, empowering technology, and process to ensure the users have the best possible experience and outcomes, both externally and internally for the staff within the Trust.
The post holder requires a high level of discretion, basic knowledge of software legislation, the ability to work unsupervised and proactively. Being a diligent staff member with an eye for detail and a passion for improving the service, the post holder will work closely with all elements of the Digital Services teams to deliver the best outcomes of the service and for customers. They must offer a "can do", proactive approach to service delivery and ultimately delivering for the service needs.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of:
- Be responsible for training on procurement process changes and asset management changes - ensuring all team members are up to date on the policies and processes.
- Assist in the management of all Trust Digital Assets and ensuring the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is maintained, updated and quality assessed on a regular basis - assisting in the report creation for the Asset, Quality and Contracts manager. Partaking in audits when required.
- ensuring that user requests are dealt with in a timely fashion, as well as ensure all procurement and invoicing requirements are met. Including reporting these KPIs back to the Asset, Quality and Contracts manager
- Assist in compliance reporting for the all-Trust Digital Software - ensuring Information Governance checks and balances have been completed before approving software for use within the Trust.
- Assist in the development of a Quality Assurance framework within Digital Services, including the implementation of the framework into the Service, providing all necessary processes and training required for Digital Staff and ensuring the reporting of this is taken into the Service Review with the Directorates, to drive Service Excellence throughout the Trust.

Job summary
The Paediatric Emergency Department at Sunderland Royal Hospital and the Childrens Urgent Care Centre at South Tyneside are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic qualified childrens nurse to join their team in delivering quality urgent and emergency nursing care to the paediatric population.
The successful candidate will be joining a team of over 70 experienced qualified nurses, nurse practitioners and health care assistants who see and treat in excess of 40,000 patients across both sites each year and will be involved in all aspects of nursing care to children with conditions ranging from minor trauma through to major medical presentations.
This is an exciting time for individual development as we respond to the evolving demand of urgent and emergency care delivery across Sunderland and South Tyneside. The post holder will be based at Sunderland Royal Hospital but will rotate between the Paediatric Emergency Department at SRH and the Childrens Urgent Care Unit at South Tyneside District Hospital on a regular basis to enhance their skills and knowledge in care delivery to children requiring non-urgent, urgent and emergency treatment.
Main duties of the job
Duties of the post include; triage and assessment, caring for children in the high acuity area/high dependency rooms/resuscitation room, administering medications, carrying out physiological observations and responding to changes within these, applying treatments and dressings, health promotion, nurse led discharge for a limited range of conditions, distraction and play therapy and applying longer term care in the short stay assessment unit.
Personal development opportunities can be gained through in-house training, simulation training and external courses including PILS, APLS, NLS, clinical skills and leadership modules. Career progression is supported and encouraged and we currently have almost 30 positions at Band 6 or above within our team including Sisters, Managers, Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

The post holders will work as part of a multidisciplinary CAMHS team in Sefton. We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Swinfen Hall, a category C men's Prison and Young Offenders Institution located in Staffordshire. Opportunity to develop in this role in different areas.
Happy to consider newly qualified nurses on the provison they have completed a prison placement during their training.
HMP YOI Swinfen Hall offers:- Onsite parking
- Career and Development opportunities
Hours
- Monday - Sunday service
- 37.5 hours working 4 days a week
- 1 x 7.30am-7.30pm
- 3 x 7.30am-5.30pm
- Every other weekend.
- 6 week rolling rota.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,659 per annum - depending on experience.
