Porter Housekeepers are responsible to provide and maintain cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team to office, patient and communal areas within the Trust. Ensuring a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients working towards their recovery.
You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic. You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
The post holder will be based at Lanchester Road Hospital Durham DH1 5 RD and will be required to work 4 different shift pattern 6.30-3 7-15.30 2-10 and 22.00-7.
Experience in cleaning duties and use of chemicals and equipment are essential as you will be working in a demanding environment. Catering and food service experience would be beneficial along with a passion to providing high standards of customer service.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
The successful postholder will provide cleaning and catering services as part of a team, to office, patient and communal areas within the Trust.
You will interact compassionately with patients and carers at all times. Patients have a range of mental health conditions or learning disabilities.
In addition to this, the postholder will show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities.
You will promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities, and promote at all times a positive image of Hotel Services and the wider Trust.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist with FEES competencies and experience of working in ITU with tracheostomized patients. However, a skills escalation programme would be put in place for a successful candidate who was able to demonstrate significant previous acute dysphagia management experience. The successful candidate will work alongside RaCI MDT colleagues to deliver personalised care in ITU but also have the opportunity to work in hyper-acute stroke and medicine amongst a team of motivated SLT colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the Health Professionals Council. You will have significant post-graduate experience of working with complex dysphagia in an acute setting, preferably ITU, management of tracheostomised patients and FEES with a passion for service development.
We will provide professional development opportunities to enable career development with peer support and clinical supervision from RaCI lead based at DMH. You will be committed to multi-disciplinary working, continuing professional development of complex dysphagia and communication disorders and be in possession of excellent communication and prioritisation skills. Experience of FEES and working in an ITU setting would be highly desirable.
The Speech and Language Therapy service is comprised of a pro-active team of experienced colleagues allowing ready-access to support, second opinions and on-going peer supervision to deliver evidence-based practice assessment and therapy to patients. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the Health Professionals Council. You will have significant post-graduate experience of working with complex dysphagia in an acute setting, preferably ITU, management of tracheostomised patients and FEES with a passion for service development.
We will provide professional development opportunities to enable career development with peer support and clinical supervision from RaCI lead based at DMH. You will be committed to multi-disciplinary working, continuing professional development of complex dysphagia and communication disorders and be in possession of excellent communication and prioritisation skills. Experience of FEES and working in an ITU setting would be highly desirable.
The Speech and Language Therapy service is comprised of a pro-active team of experienced colleagues allowing ready-access to support, second opinions and on-going peer supervision to deliver evidence-based practice assessment and therapy to patients. You will help supervise more junior staff and speech and language therapy students as well as contribute to the delivery of teaching programmes to the RaCI MDT, medical students and a range of professionals enhancing patient care

Job summary
Working as part of the Trust wide Dermatology multidisciplinary team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, the post holder will be involved in ensuring that patients, relatives and staff have access to expert support and advice when presenting with psoriasis, eczema, acne and other skin conditions.
With support from the multi-disciplinary team work towards becoming an autonomous clinical expert in assessing, planning and implementing and evaluating topical, systemic and Biologic treatments ensuring that any patient information and treatment provided is current and evidence based.
The post holder will act as the patients advocate supporting and advising the patient and other members of the Dermatology team.
The post holder will contribute to nursing policy and clinical service development within the Dermatology service undertaking audit when required.
To provide day to day supervision of and leadership of junior members of staff within the service.
Main duties of the job
IWorking within agreed parameters, local and national guidelines, the postholder will:
Provide Nurse led clinics for adult and paediatric patients with a diagnosed Dermatology condition.
The post holder should be prepared to work and expand skills within the scope of practice appropriate to the client group, such as nurse prescribing.
Provide a Nurse led service, in the acute and community services settings and referring in to other appropriate services as required.
Participate in integrated skin outpatient clinics, providing specialist nursing skills to offer support and information to patients and patient education and appropriate treatment.
Act as an educational and supportive resource to patients and staff regarding the care, treatment and management of patients with a diagnosis of Dermatology conditions.
Work in partnership with the multi professional team to enhance standards and best practice of care across the service and attend MDTs. The post requires liaison with professional colleagues in other disciplines and with other statutory and voluntary organisations.
Undertake Holistic Needs Assessments to ensure patients are fully engaged in their care

You will join an established and valued psychological therapies team within the service, holding an active caseload and delivering a range of therapeutic interventions. In addition, you will play an important role within the service's leadership structure, supporting the ongoing development of the service, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and offering support, supervision and guidance to colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
The successful postholder will be accountable for your own professional practice in the delivery of highly specialist psychological therapy to clients with highly complex mental health conditions or learning disabilities which may include challenging behaviours.
The post-holder is responsible for providing a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to people in the designated service, providing both specialist model-specific expertise and broader psychological assessment and therapy, in addition to clinical supervision, advice and consultation to colleagues, and to other non-professional carers, on modality specific aspects of assessment, formulation, care and treatment.
You will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that high quality, compassionate, individualised care is delivered which ensures safety and a commitment to promoting recovery and wellbeing and maximising independence. In addition you will provide clinical supervision and clinical consultation/advice in accordance with service needs as agreed with the lead psychologist. You will take a lead role within the team for model-specific psychological therapies in the pathway, including providing leadership in adherence to NICE guidance through clinical supervision and monitoring.

At St Cuthberts, we provide compassionate specialist palliative and end-of-life care to patients and support to their families. We are looking for a dedicated and caring Bank Catering Co-ordinator to join our team and be responsible for all areas of food production, maintaining the highest standards in order to meet both patient and our coffee shop requirements. You will work closely with colleagues across clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure the smooth running of all areas of the kitchen and create a welcoming environment that supports the dignity, comfort, and wellbeing of patients and their loved ones.
Main duties of the job

- Organize and coordinate catering services for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring timely delivery of meals and refreshments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage daily food preparation schedules and special dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all catering areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with setting up dining areas for events or special occasions, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of catering services and address any issues promptly

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) for one of the largest mental health and learning disability providers in the country.
As Head of EPRR, you will be the Trust's expert adviser on all aspects of emergency preparedness, business continuity and organisational resilience. You will play a critical role in ensuring TEWV is prepared to respond effectively to major incidents, emergencies and disruptive events, whilst maintaining safe, high-quality services for patients and communities.
Reporting to the Trust's Accountable Emergency Officer and working closely with Executive Directors, operational leaders and system partners, you will lead the development, implementation and assurance of all EPRR arrangements across the organisation. You will ensure compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and NHS EPRR Core Standards, while building a culture of resilience throughout the Trust.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
The Head of EPRR is responsible for leading the development and implementation of all arrangements relating to the organisation's preparedness for significant incidents and emergencies as defined in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
This includes:
- Leading the Trust's emergency preparedness, resilience, and response arrangements.
- Developing and maintaining major incident, business continuity and resilience plans.
- Providing strategic leadership on business continuity and emergency planning.
- Leading the development of Trust policies, procedures and governance arrangements relating to EPRR.
- Delivering training, exercising and assurance programmes.
- Advising the Executive Team, Board committees and senior leaders on resilience risks and preparedness.

The post holder will be an integral part of the Radiology team, working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of care for the patients, whilst maintaining Radiographic standards and promoting good practice to Radiographers & Radiology students.
The staff member will be responsible for promoting the continuing professional development of other Radiology personnel and is expected to engage with Clinical Governance in the department.
To adhere to good practices of Radiographic technique and abide by the acknowledged safe practices of radiation protection standards.
To assist in the day-to-day running of the Mammography and X-Ray services and to act as a support to the Lead Radiographer through delegated duties. Eg. Rotas, annual leave etc

Summary of the Role:
The Catering Assistant role is to support both regeneration chefs and other catering assistants in the provision of a highly professional catering service within the retail services at University Hospital of North Durham, both within the Retail restaurant and Coffee Shop.
This role would be expected to follow the duties laid out by the Retail Service Supervisor in the day to day retail services to both staff and visitor and to ensure that a high quality and cost effective service at all times in a courteous manner.

Talking Therapies is a well-established Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service that has been providing psychological interventions to people across County Durham and Darlington since 2010.

Spectrum is recruiting a Substance Misuse specialist to lead our dedicated nursing team in Health and Justice.
To take forward our service, we're looking for a nurse with excellent leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders - from pharmacists and Heads of Healthcare to NHS providers and services.
You'll be an affective and visible leader, providing robust clinical substance misuse support and operational guidance to all staff on matters relating to physical health and wellbeing within the prison setting. You'll manage our skilled substance misuse team and be passionate about patient care - with advanced nursing knowledge, an understanding of NICE guidelines and a desire to be involved with key decision-making.

Main duties of the job

- The post holder will be involved with assessing, diagnosing, providing advice and administering care to patients.
