At the moment we offer a Golden Hello bonus for Pathways Trained CAs.
We are particularly interested in hearing from fully qualified Pathways Advisors who have successfully completed Core Module 1 and Clinical Modules 1 & 2, are up to date with all mandatory training requirements, and are PACCs trained.
Here at Practice Plus Group, we have an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Advisor and build on your Nursing or Paramedic experience and continue to deliver outstanding patient care without the physical demand of acute work.
To be considered for future homeworking opportunities, advisors must demonstrate a minimum of six months' performance with acceptable audit scores, good attendance in line with policy, no live formal disciplinary or capability management processes, and achievement of a minimum productivity of 3.8 cases per hour (CPH). All homeworkers are expected to maintain this productivity standard, and homeworking eligibility may be reviewed or withdrawn in line with the Homeworking SOP where required. You will be expected to attend your local site regularly with a minimum requirement of 24 hours per month as we need Clinicians on site to support the Health Advisors when needed.
Join a supportive and dynamic team where you'll receive ongoing development opportunities, regular support, and the chance to make a real difference to patients every day.
Main duties of the job
- Pay: £24.47 per hour (7am-11pm) and £27.83 per hour (11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements of £30.60 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. Please note that the weekend rate is guaranteed but it is not contractual, it is just an incentive for working unsociable hours
- Any training hours will be paid at £24.47 per hour
- 25 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.
- Guaranteed regular breaks

- In 111 we get calls about anything and everything, hence no two-days will be the same. However, you will receive a lot of support from the software systems.
- We offer set shift patterns so you`ll always know when you`ll be working
You`ll receive:
What your typical day looks like
You`ll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, a recognisable licence that you`ll receive on completion of training.
About us
Schedule:
Full-Time: Monday-Friday (9:30am-5pm) for 4 weeks + 1 additional day to complete internal training on LMS

- You will undergo assessments and call audits throughout training. Passing these is essential to continue with the role. Failure to pass on your second attempt will result in no longer being able to continue with the role.
- After training, you will receive ongoing support to ensure youre ready to be signed off as a fully accredited Pathways Health Advisor.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Significant post registration training/consolidation and experience
- 2 years recent experience in adult acute or primary/community care

About us
We have a long and proud history of caring for generations of local people and can trace our roots all the way back to 1814 with the first hospital in Bolton - the Bolton Dispensary in the town centre.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust was formed in 2008 and, in 2011, we became an integrated provider with community health services joining the trust. Covering a catchment area that also incorporates parts of Bury, Wigan and Salford, we deliver hospital and community based services from the Royal Bolton Hospital in Farnworth and from 20 health centres across Bolton, to a catchment population of 310,000+ people.
The Royal Bolton Hospital is a major hub within Greater Manchester for women's and children's services and is the busiest single ambulance-receiving site in Greater Manchester. We're structured in four clinical divisions - Community Services, Families and Diagnostics, Medicine, and Surgery and are led by a Board of Directors. As an NHS Foundation Trust we're accountable to our members and have a Council of Governors to represent the views of patients, public, staff and partners.
Buildings, names and models of care have changed over the centuries, but one thing has remained constant and is prevalent among our 6,718 staff members: the enduring commitment to providing the best health and care for the people of Bolton.

Job summary
Please Note:
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK independently, with a visa or immigration status that allows them to fulfil the full duration and type of contract offered. The Trust is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
As part of an expansion to our Radiology Services we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to come and join our dynamic Radiology Team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.
We are looking for full time Band 7 Senior Radiographers, with proven cross sectional imaging experience and post graduate specialism in CT.
The CT radiography team works across 3 sites of operation - Darent Valley Hospital, Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup and the North Kent Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).
The Trust's Radiology Departments service the populations of Gravesham, Swanley, Dartford and Bexley, across 5 sites in total, including x-ray departments at Gravesend and Erith's community hospitals.
The Trust has a strong commitment to equality and diversity. We aim to employ a representative workforce that reflects the communities we serve. 'Positive action' initiatives can be used whenever an under-represented group is identified. As our workforce is currently under-represented in bands 6, 7 and 8, we encourage applications from people with black or minority ethnic backgrounds.
Main duties of the job
DGT has recently made changes to its Radiology department with the expansion of CT services at the purpose built CDC and the installation of a dual-source, dual energy Siemens Pro.Pulse CT scanner, which will be utilised to provide not only routine outpatient scanning, but high-quality Cardiac CT imaging.
The successful candidates will rotate through the 3 operational CT sites, providing senior support for other CT trained radiographers and taking a leading role in the day-to day running of the CT department. The mainly outpatient based workload at the CDC and Queen Mary's, Sidcup will require the successful candidate to manage the booked outpatient list and support the radiology department assistants with queries and IV cannulation. As the senior CT radiographer, the candidate will also be competent in undertaking Cardiac CT scans and already be competent in, or have the aptitude to train in undertaking Virtual Colonoscopy CT scans.
At the Darent Valley site, the mainly inpatient and A+E based workflow requires the candidate to be flexible in their approach to managing a CT day list, communicate effectively with staff in the wider multi-disciplinary team and deal with the acutely unwell patient to achieve diagnostic scans.
Working days and or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of the service and will based on a 7 day service, with the current Band 7 CT radiographers working a 7 day rolling rotation.
About us
We are committed to being an inclusive and diverse employer. We strive to employ people who reflect the communities we serve, and aim to create an inclusive culture where everyone can reach their full potential. Whatever your race, ethnicity, belief, generation, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, disability or experience, you'll appreciate the opportunities we give you to work in an inclusive atmosphere. We welcome applications from people of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences to build on the progress we've achieved to make our Trust diverse and the best place to work. We celebrate the diversity of thought, viewpoints and ideas that help us overcome challenges and embrace new possibilities.
If you are considering applying for a role, please be aware that as an NHS Employee you may have contact with vulnerable service users. Due to the government regulations for mandatory vaccinations for COVID-19 for NHS employees, it has been necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our staff and our patients. In order to comply with our duty of care, we require all of our staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Your vaccination status will be a condition of your employment and evidence of vaccination will be obtained during the recruitment process, unless you are medically exempt.
Your commitment will help us to put the safety and care of our patients first, as well as helping us to protect you and your colleagues.
