Job Summary
We have four vacancies available; each offered on a part-time basis of 37.5 hours per fortnight.
It takes all types of people to help save and improve lives. As a Donor Carer with NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), youll play a vital role in supporting blood donors throughout their donation journey. Working as part of a skilled and supportive mobile team, youll help create a safe, positive and caring experience for donors while contributing to the collection of lifesaving blood products.
Youll receive comprehensive training to develop practical healthcare skills, including donor screening, venepuncture and donor care. Every day is different as you travel to donor sessions, work alongside healthcare professionals and help ensure the highest standards of quality, safety and donor experience.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, learn valuable clinical skills and build a rewarding career in a unique NHS organisation The role involves working a variety of hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays but no night shifts!
You will be working on a shift basis but, the normal hours for this role are 4 days per fortnight. Early shifts start at 06:45 and finish 18:30. Late shifts start at 10:00 and finish 21:00, this will be 9.375 hour days. As the service predominantly operates on late shifts, the succe
Main duties of the job
Loading, unloading, assembling and dismantling equipment to setup and prepare our blood donation session.
Driving a 7.5 tonne van and 15-seater minibus as and when required (training and assessment will be provided).
Learn and develop practical healthcare skills, including donor health screening, venepuncture and post-donation care.
Work as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality donor care and service excellence.
Maintain accurate donor records and support the safe handling, reconciliation and transportation of blood products and samples.
Encourage donors to return and continue making a lifesaving difference through regular donation appointments.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, infection prevention and regulatory compliance.
Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas, embracing new ways of working and participating in training and development opportunities.
Travel to different donation venues and help set up, operate and pack down equipment to ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently.

Main duties of the job
This is a 22.5 hour per week, 12-month fixed-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your specialist skills within a dedicated neurorehabilitation setting. You will manage a clinical caseload, providing assessment and intervention for patients with complex communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing difficulties, while working closely with the wider MDT to support meaningful rehabilitation goals and positive outcomes.

The post holder will be the identified lead in the development of nursing practice in own specialist area, working at an advanced level across the healthcare teams, also as a core member of the metastatic breast cancer Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT). They will be the identified key worker for patients with metastatic breast cancer and their families on the IOW, and will co-ordinate island patients care throughout their cancer pathway, including the onward referral of key worker status. The post holder will also act as a resource to all healthcare professionals caring for patients with metastatic breast cancer, and work in close collaboration with other cancer specialist nurses in mainland cancer centres, especially Queen Alexandra Hospital (PHT) and University Hospital Southampton (UHS). The post-holder will work as part of the wider cancer team and across departmental, divisional and Trust boundaries to support the delivery of a patient-centred seamless service.
Main duties of the job
The day to day work of the Cancer Clinical Nurse specialist role is essential to deliver cancer waiting targets, manage the patients cancer pathway, support with critical clinical nursing interventions, liaise with PHT specialist MDT to facilitate safe effective care within IOW with external speciality consultants, prevent admissions or expediate admission for patients with oncological emergencies, arrange blood transfusions or vital medications and treatment plans, support during breaking bad news, and ensure MDT outcomes are actioned to avoid delay in-patient cancer pathways, support visiting oncologists, provide vital patient information and signposting, and provide psychological support to cancer patients. Symphony Healthcare Services has a vacancy for a part time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to work at Lister House Surgery in Wiveliscombe, near Taunton in Somerset.

Main duties of the job

Are you able to provide interventions to both patient and carers to maintain wellbeing and prevent crisis?
If so, come and join our innovative Community Dementia Service.
Our Community Dementia Service is provided in collaboration with the Alzheimers Society and will form a key part of support throughout the dementia journey. Sitting within our Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT), you will be providing brief interventions for people living with dementia with the aim of reducing distress, maintaining wellbeing and avoiding crisis. You will have access to the wider MDT where patients can be stepped-up to the OACMHT for more complex or on-going support. You will also spend time each week undertaking routine dementia assessments or other OACMHT activities.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00. Part time and flexible working will be considered.
Main duties of the job
A typical day will include a mix of direct clinical assessment and interventions for people living with dementia as well as providing clinical advice to the Dementia Advisors and other services e.g. Primary Care. You will offer short term interventions to patients and their carers to reduce distress, maintain wellbeing and avoid crisis. Your interventions will be goal based and look to empower those accessing the service. You will support the development of the service through the collection of outcome measures and other metrics and engage in promotion and education events, as well as your own professional development. You will provide a seamless transition for patients supported by the Dementia Advisors into your service and utilise your expert knowledge to assess need and guide patient care. You will take a collaborative approach to all of your work, and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.

The Fens is a therapeutic, person-centred ward with a strong focus on hope, dignity, collaboration, meaningful occupation and safe progression towards community living. The ward achieved AIMS accreditation in May 2025, with reaccreditation due in February 2028.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a compassionate multidisciplinary team where Occupational Therapy is central to helping people rebuild daily living skills, confidence and independence. You will deliver a range of individual and group interventions, including ADL assessment, cooking, budgeting, shopping, public transport training, sensory work, gardening, walking groups, mindfulness, Recovery College links, volunteering and community-based graded exposure.
We are looking for a reflective, compassionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who values co-production, trauma-informed care, least restrictive practice and positive risk taking. You will work alongside service users, carers, psychologists, nursing staff, social care, peer support workers and community teams to support recovery, relapse prevention and safe discharge planning.

The Trust sponsors and hosts many research studies, including clinical trials of investigational medicinal products (CTIMPs), medical devices and clinical investigations. The post holder will co-ordinate the preparation, negotiation and execution of contracts. They will be expected to become integral to a streamlined R&D process, ensuring adherence to research governance guidelines and regulations. A key part of the role is to co-ordinate collaboration agreements with external partners and parties; to set them up efficiently and to funder deadlines and keep research teams informed of progress.
Main duties of the job
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Working within the Research Contracts Team to assist and facilitate in the preparation, negotiation and execution for a range of different research contracts such as clinical trial agreements, collaboration agreements, funding awards and material transfer agreements.
Communicate effectively to liaise with both MFT colleagues and external parties in the negotiation of contractual obligations. Particularly for collaboration agreements which often involve several different parties.
Assist colleagues in the Research Contract Team to maintain a portfolio of contract templates and advise MFT colleagues on their appropriate use.
Contribute to the Research Contract Team remit to ensure staff conducting data driven innovations are given appropriate advice on requirements to comply with the Data Protection Act, UK GDPR, and Caldicott principles.
Ensure correct contract documents are used, agreed and executed in a timely manner enabling the Trust to meet its project performance targets.

What you will bring to the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy technician who is passionate about quality assurance. Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member to join us in the Cardiology Department.
The role includes supporting our band 4 cath lab co-ordinator inorder to maintain the smooth, efficient running of the department. This would includewelcoming patients, clinicians, and visitors to the department, dealing with enquiries, bookings and appointments via the telephone, email and in person. The post-holder will work closely with all members of staff in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. This will require good communication and interpersonal skills, a knowledge of PAS with a willingness to learn new systems specific to cardiology.
The post holder will be expected towork independently, using their own initiative to make independent judgement within trust policies and guidelines. The role will suit a team player who is also able to act on their own initiative and prioritise their workload with flexibility to the daily operational demands.
If you are enthusiastic, empathetic and have excellent digital, communication and prioritisation skills you could be the ideal candidate.

Main duties of the job
Main duties include:

- To liaise with staff at all levels throughout the Trust
