Job summary
Energy is a substantial portion of our carbon footprint and our budget.
We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
As the Energy Manager you will be professionally, technically and managerially responsible for Energy Management.
The Energy Manager will also be responsible for regulatory schemes such as UKETS, grant applications and coordinating EPBR compliance such as DECs and EPCs.
The Trust's Utility budgets total circa £20m in FY 2025/6. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day energy management of these utilities with a focus on utility cost, consumption, carbon reduction and recharging the Trust's tenants supported by the Energy and Carbon Data Officer.
The Trust's Energy Manager will have lead responsibility in providing specialist expertise on all aspects of, energy and water management, be responsible for undertaking energy surveys, inspections, development and delivery of action plans, plant surveys, preparation of design and specifications.
The Trust currently has a Combined Heat and Power plant that is managed as an Energy Performance Contract with guaranteed savings and KPI penalties. This role would oversee that contract, to ensure contractual obligations are delivered.
The Energy Manager will have line management responsibilities for the Energy Officer.
Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic qualified radiographer to join the team in Neuroradiology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. The department is one of the top Neuroradiology units in the UK providing a comprehensive range of specialist procedures, tests and treatments for all types of neurological conditions. There are longstanding strong collaborations between Neuroradiology and Neurosciences within the Trust and Newcastle University enabling research in a variety of areas.
The department is equipped with two state of the art Siemens MRI scanners (3T & 1.5T), a Siemens CT scanner; and two Philips bi-plane angiographic systems. We provide a Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound Service for the region and imaging for Neuro Theatre.
In Neuroradiology you will work as part of a small multidisciplinary team, providing high quality patient care, diagnostic imaging and interventional services within the Regional Neurosciences Centre. This is a rotational role that will allow you to train in all modalities.

Main duties of the job
This is a rotational post and will allow you to work with the diagnostic modalities of neuro MRI and CT, where you will be trained to undertake all neuro specific and complex imaging procedures and you will also give the opportunity to work within the neurosurgical, neurovascular and spinal interventional theatres. You will develop a high level of neuro specific theoretical and practical knowledge. You will develop and enhance your radiographic knowledge and skills to allow you to make informed decisions and work efficiently as an autonomous practitioner. In addition you will work within a multidisciplinary team contributing to the treatment of both complex neurovascular and spinal abnormalities and disease. There will be an opportunity to also train to undertake transcranial doppler ultrasound scanning to monitor patients who have suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage to determine if they have vasospasm and also to run clinics to monitor children who have sickle cell disease
You must demonstrate you have the potential for development to be become a confident autonomous practitioner with excellent motivation and communication skills. You will need to have problem solving ability and change management skills and to have the ability to work effectively in a team or independently. You must also have knowledge and commitment to evidence based practice, clinical governance and a clear understanding of radiation protection legislation and MRI safety.

The South West Genomic Medicine Service (SWGMS) works with partners across healthcare providers to ensure the successful delivery of NHS Englands national genomic strategy. Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is the lead in this partnership with Royal Devon hosting and supporting a range of functions to support this activity for the whole region. We work in partnership to ensure equity of access to appropriate genomic testing for patients and their families in the NHS and to ensure the delivery of a patient centred, high-quality and innovation driven Genomic Medicine Service. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the leadership teams across these organisations
This role will require versatility and the ability to meet deadlines and manage change on a daily basis in order to meet the needs of this dynamic and fast-growing area of medicine. Support and training to provide an understanding of the service and service needs will be provided by the SWGMS Project Management Office team.
This post will be based in Exeter at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and can accommodate a combination of office and remote working if preferable. Whilst an Exeter based role, the post holder will be required to support team members within the Genomic Medicine Service who may be based at other sites and in other healthcare related organisations. As part of a regional organisation, the post holder will be required to travel to partner sites within the South West as required.

Job summary
We are excited to recruit to the role of Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner (Band 7) in Hertfordshire's Primary Care Network (PCN) covering the following GP surgeries in the Hatfield area:
Potterells Medical Centre
Burvill House Surgery
Lister House Surgery
Wrafton House Surgery
The role will involve travel between the PCN sites as well as travel to HPFT sites for things such as mandatory training.
You will work alongside other clinicians within the PCN as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will need to be able to work autonomously to triage, assess, case manage and discharge a patient without referral to a GP where appropriate.
You must be able to advise on medications, and prescribe within scope of practice, identify needs, formulate and triage risk, order investigations and refer on to secondary care services where necessary.
You will act as a first point of contact in primary care. You will accept referrals for triage via agreed routes within the PCN. You will offer rapid and autonomous 'first contact' assessment and promote early treatment by supporting people directly into appropriate mental health pathways across both the statutory and voluntary sectors and will provide short term interventions on the telephone, via video link options, at the surgery or in the person's home where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
You will provide mental health assessment and brief interventions to service users in GP surgeries.
Your tasks will include early triage, assessment, treatment, risk management, identifying and dealing with safeguarding concerns as well as contributing to case discussions and service-related meetings across the adult mental health primary care pathway ensuring good links with secondary care services.
You will provide medication advice and prescribe within specified scope of practice.
You will coordinate the time limited care of primary care-based service users delivering integrated care which takes account of social care needs. You will be someone who enjoys adapting and learning as you contribute to embedding this new role into primary care.
You will also take a leading role for service innovation and development in primary care mental health. This could include projects with other junior staff to ensure delivery of safe and effective primary care mental health services and making a significant contribution to the development and leadership of mental health services within Primary Care Networks. You may be expected to conduct audits to help understand the efficacy of these roles. You will also take part in training other colleagues in subjects related to your field of expertise.

Your job would be to provide a highly professional and efficient administration service to the Tissue Services team, helping to make sure that the department runs smoothly. Its a very important role as you'd be overseeing and organising the selection and dispatch of tissues, on time, day in day out these are the products that hospitals nationally need to carry out their life-saving work.
As well as working with our customers (mostly hospital staff), you'd also deal with the public so its important that you have experience of working with people in a similar role and the customer-service skills that come with that.
Alongside confident communication skills, both in person and in writing, you'll need a good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel and the organisational skills to keep accurate records. Good with figures and educated to at least NVQ level II (or equivalent), you'll call on your knowledge and all-round experience of office procedures and equipment to really make this role your own.
Main duties of the job
You will be working as part of the Customer Services team and will be responsible for ensure the efficient functioning of the Customer Services team in all aspects of service delivery. Key responsibilities will include:
- Order receipt.
- Product dispatch.
- Complaint handling.
- Invoicing and legislative advice and guidance.
- Internal and external audit.
- Operating and upkeeping of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database along with other systems integral to the running of the department.
- Understanding the regulatory requirements related to Tissue products (Human Tissue Authority) to provide technical advice to customers in relation to tissue storage, tissue preparation and licensing requirements as per training provided and information manuals. Implementation of National systems.
- Following training, using the information manuals provided, you will provide advice to customers in relation to tissue storage, tissue preparation and licensing requirement.
