Job summary
The Complaints & PALS Team are looking for a well-motivated, friendly and hardworking individual to join the team in the role of the Complaints & PALS Officer. We are looking for someone who pays great attention to detail, has an excellent telephone manner and has previous experience of working in an office environment. The focus of the job is to ensure that all formal complaints & PALS contacts are handled in line with Trust policy
This key position will require excellent communication and organisation skills with knowledge of basic IT. Previous complaints experience is desirable. You must have a methodical approach to work and be able to work independently as well as in a team whilst remaining calm under pressure.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include logging, acknowledging and closing complaints & PALS contacts, arranging meetings, taking minutes, answering telephone calls, maintaining databases and spreadsheets and liaising with staff across the organisation. You will also attend meetings with complainants and their relatives and will be someone who is confident in interacting with a variety of different people.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team whilst working in a fast-paced and interesting department within the Trust.

Job summary
We welcome and will consider applicantions from those interested in this role at either full time or part time hours with a minimum of 30 hours per week due to service needs.
The post holder will join a team of highly experienced clinical psychologists, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and treatment for people living with HIV.
They will lead the specialist clinical/counselling psychology service within HIV care, including clinical supervision and line management, and work autonomously within professional guidelines and service policies.
The role includes delivering psychological therapy for issues affecting HIV management, adherence and prevention of transmission, as well as supporting patients with depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma, psychosexual difficulties and addiction.
The post holder will support the multidisciplinary team in delivering integrated care through consultation, training and advice on psychological aspects of patient care. They will also undertake complex risk assessments and provide specialist guidance to non-psychologist colleagues.
The role includes teaching within the service and wider department, promoting psychology, and disseminating psychological knowledge within the HIV care team and externally, including at conferences. The post holder will contribute to audit, service development, policy development and research, using advanced research skills to improve patient care.
Main duties of the job
Provide highly specialist psychological assessments for patients referred to the HIV Psychology Service, integrating complex information from multiple sources. Formulate and deliver evidence-based psychological treatment and management plans across a range of care settings, using appropriate conceptual frameworks.
Make expert decisions regarding psychological interventions, taking into account theoretical and therapeutic models, developmental and historical factors, and the individual's medical and social circumstances.
Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to professionals within the HIV Service, contributing directly to patient formulation, diagnosis and treatment planning.
Undertake risk assessment and management for individual patients, providing both general and specialist advice to psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate highly complex and sensitive information regarding assessment, formulation and treatment plans, and monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout uni-disciplinary and multidisciplinary care.
Provide psychological support to newly diagnosed patients and deliver specialist HIV transmission prevention advice to patients and their contacts, including prevention of vertical transmission. Facilitate appropriate disclosure of HIV status to partners, family members and children where appropriate.

Job summary
We have a new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Respiratory, Surgery & Critical Care Therapy Team at Barnet Hospital - part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The post is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, but flexible working may be considered if raised at interview.
This is a newly created post at Barnet Hospital, providing Occupational Therapy intervention for patients with respiratory, cardiac, acute medical or surgical conditions. In addition, there will be an opportunity to gain experience working with our Critical Care OTs seeing patients on the intensive care unit and once they have stepped down to the wards.
We welcome applications from enthusiastic band 5 or 6 Occupational Therapists with experience of working with people with acute and complex needs - preferably within the acute care setting. In addition, full induction, access to training, joint working and ongoing support will be provided from the friendly and dedicated therapists within the team and wider department.
Main duties of the job
This post offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills in the management of patients with cardiac, respiratory, surgical, and acute medical conditions, in addition to gaining some experience in the critical care setting and with patients with tracheostomy / laryngectomy.
You will have the opportunity to take on team leadership responsibilities, including supervising band 5 therapists, support workers and OT students. Excellent communication skills; the ability to work well in a team; an interest in the training and supervision of staff, and a positive and flexible approach is essential.
You will be joining an established Therapy team of Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist. You will be encouraged to take an active role in current projects, including service development, training and audit.
You will be working in a rewarding and challenging clinical environment. The therapies department at Barnet Hospital is committed to ensuring staff feel supported with career progression through supervision; appraisal; in-house / external training and leadership development. The department operates a 7 day service, and you will be expected to work one weekend in four on a rota basis.

We are seeking a Band 5 Scrub Nurse to join the Day Surgery Theatres team at Hadley Wood Hospital on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

Job summary
The successful candidates will maintain a high standard of phlebotomy practice that is focused on patient care and safety. You will be required to work as part of a team delivering excellent phlebotomy and cannulation service on our wards and clinics and obtain quality blood specimens for testing by the Pathology laboratory.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will join the oncology team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL) as an 8PAlocum consultant in breast and lung cancer. The post will be working at The Royal Free and Barnet healthunits. The successful candidate will join an existing multi-disciplinary team in breast and lung cancer. The post holder will support the delivery of systemic therapy in breast cancer at Royal Free and lung cancer at Barnethospital. Main duties of the job
There is ongoing considerable site development at Kettering General Hospital. The theatre suite for Obstetrics & Gynaecology underwent redevelopment in February 2016. Building work is in the early stagesfor the new Rockingham Wing which will provide new facilities for Obstetric and Gynaecology services.
There is a thriving and well-equipped Post Graduate Education centre including a new, large, modern library, seminar rooms, and lecture theatre.
ANTENATAL SCREENINGWe offer a full range of prenatal screening services including early dating scans, Nuchal Translucency and biochemical screening. We offer CVS as well as Amniocentesis. The Fetal Medicine Service is supported byConsultants from University Hospital of Leicester (attending 2 clinics per week). A Consultant Clinical Geneticist who covers the county supports the genetic services. There are on site prenatal counselling facilities with a specialist midwife and the service is offered to all women as part of their routine antenatal care.THEATRESThere are two large and fully equipped state of the art theatres opened in February 2016. One is for routine gynaecology and the second theatre for Obstetrics. A third theatre is used for emergencies for obstetrics and gynaecology.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Audiologist to join the Audiology Department at Kettering General Hospital. While the department provides services for both adults and children, this role has a primary focus on paediatric audiology, supporting children and families across University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Audiologist or an Adult Audiologist looking to develop specialist skills within paediatric services. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred audiological care, undertaking assessments, hearing aid fitting and verification for children while working closely with families and the wider multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job
- Conduct age-appropriate audiological assessments for children aged 6 months to 18 years using a range of behavioural and objective testing techniques.
- Lead Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) clinics, accurately interpreting results and making informed clinical decisions.
- Undertake paediatric hearing aid fitting, verification and validation to ensure optimal hearing outcomes for children.
- Assess hearing needs and recommend appropriate management plans in line with local and national guidance.
- Communicate assessment outcomes, treatment plans and recommendations to parents, carers and families with empathy, clarity and sensitivity.
- Provide support and advice to patients, families and other healthcare professionals regarding hearing loss and hearing management.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, child-centred care.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and documentation in line with professional and Trust standards.

Job summary
North East Wandsworth Integrated Recovery Team is based at Trinity Building, Springfield Hospital, Tooting. We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team. We will also consider Band 5's who have completed their Preceptorship and are looking at transition to a Band 6 role through our Preceptorship Plus programme.
This satisfying and rewarding role sits within our Community Service Line, which includes all community based mental health teams, such as our Integrated Recovery Hubs, Recovery and Support Teams and Early Intervention services. Our teams are expanding with new and exciting roles post Transformation, and this is providing an environment in which Occupational Therapists (OTs), can at last, fully use their innovation and creativity to support clients with complex mental health needs to recover and step down from Mental Health Services.
The OT will also promote working with our partners in the Involvement Team, to encourage service users and carers to feel supported and involved in the development with our services and their experiences, as well as developing relationships with wider and external community organisations, such as social prescribers and peer support workers
Main duties of the job
To provide Occupational Therapy for team clients, with a maximum of one day duty cover for the team once every two weeks.
To manage an OT caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence based /client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
To take responsibility for completing standardised assessments using The Model of Human Occupation and other frameworks as agreed by the Therapy Leads.
To offer manualised interventions, both group and individual for example, GLOW (Graduated Living Outside of the Ward) and IPEL (Increasing Participation in Everyday Life) to help support step down of services for clients and preparation for discharge.
To offer Sensory Profiling/interventions for clients with sensory challenges.
To offer advice to the team and promote access and reasonable adjustments for Service Users with sensory challenges wishing to use our services.
To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of OT services within the Community Team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
To engage with the OT referrals process, identifying and prioritising the need for OT specific interventions.
To provide leadership to junior staff through supervision and appraisal.
To regularly supervise OT students on practice placement (expected standard is two students per year).

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South West London and St George's Perinatal Mental Health Service part time on a fixed term basis.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Perinatal Social Worker to join our SWLSTG Perinatal Team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will ideally have essential perinatal mental health experience and be committed to delivering compassionate, trauma-informed, family-centered care.
This is Fixed-Term, 2.5 days a week and the days of Wednesday afternoon to Friday is expected.
Main duties of the job
As a Perinatal Social Worker, you will be a key member of a specialist multidisciplinary Perinatal Mental Health Team, providing consultation and advice for women experiencing complex mental health difficulties during pregnancy and the first year after birth.
The role includes leading on safeguarding, child protection, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and Care Act matters within the team, while working collaboratively with health, social care and voluntary sector partners to deliver coordinated, family-centred care. Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Forensic Outreach Service in one of the dedicated clinical posts supporting a new forensic step-down supported living service, scheduled to open in January 2027.
The Service will be delivered as part of the SWLSTG Adult Secure discharge and step-down pathway, commissioned through the South London Partnership (SLP) Adult Secure Provider Collaborative Programme. The service will provide an integrated model of care and support through a partnership between the Forensic Outreach Service and a Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) provider. The VCS partner will deliver the supported living pathway and work closely with the SWLSTG Forensic Outreach Service which will host dedicated clinical posts.
The Service is commissioned for adults stepping down from Adult Secure inpatient services into a community setting, whose ordinary residence and Section 117 aftercare provision sits with one of the five South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) boroughs, for health and social care. It will enable people to transition safely and sustainably from secure mental health services into the community, through access to high quality accommodation and specialist, recovery-focused support delivered in a least restrictive setting.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work within the Forensic Directorate in providing Occupational Therapy input to individuals living within the Forensic Step-Down Service. The post holder will sit within the Forensic Outreach Service.
The post holder will play a key role within the Forensic Step-Down Accommodation Service, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and forensic histories to successfully transition from secure or inpatient settings to independent community living. The role involves delivering specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions using evidence-based, recovery-focused approaches and the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) to promote meaningful engagement in daily activities, enhance independence, and support social inclusion. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will contribute to risk assessment and management, care planning, CPA reviews, MAPPA processes, and multi-agency working, while providing clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students. The post holder will also champion equality, accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that service users are supported to achieve their recovery goals and maximise their quality of life within the community.

This role is for a Band 4 Recovery Support Worker, working closely care coordinators and a full MDT in the community team of nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists etc.
This role is an exciting opportunity to which allows you to use initiative, working aspart of a close-knit team. In this role you will be expected to facilitate Recovery through activities and be creative in the way you work with service users. Even more so we want our staff to engage with service users and understand their interests and passions and adapt working styles to suit them. RSWs also do 1:1 work with clients, in community settings, care homes, supported living environment and in client's own homes. This includes focusing on work surrounding self-care, productivity, activities geared at social inclusion (getting into employment or college) and leisure (participating in interests or group activities).
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include working with service users in the community andfacilitating activities that foster inclusion, self esteem, daily living skills and general wellbeing. We are always looking for new and creative ways to engage service users in the community and are open to RSW's input in this area.
The other main duties include 1:1 work which could be anything from trying to motivate a service user to engage in social activities, such as taking them out to a coffee shop on a weekly basis, supporting service users to health care appointments, benefits, getting them involved in fitness, the gym, or sports, looking at people's interests and supporting them to engage in these.Social inclusion would be a main part of the role, making connections and links in the community in order to integrate and support our service users to engage in meaningful activity.
Working with service users in the community, some of who may have forensic history, means risk assessment is one of the key areas to keep in mind. We are looking for someone thorough in their skills to risk assess, as well as use themselves therapeutically through rapport with service users.

Essential
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent (with minimum of 5 A-E qualifications which must include Maths and English)
- Achieved NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent plus post qualifications or further study/training to diploma level or NVQ level 4 in Mental Health and/or WLMHT Assistant Practitioner Course OR Equivalent level of experience
- Evidence of consistent pattern of learning from Education, training and experience.
- Care Certificate ( to be completed within 6 months of starting the role) .
Desirable
- Ability to demonstrate competency in specific clinical skills relating to role.
- Computer qualifications or experience/skills.
- Degree, higher diploma or equivalent in Nursing, Psychology, counselling or Health and Social Care

- Experience of mental health and/or learning disability services or demonstrable interest in mental health and/or learning disability either paid or voluntary.
- To be knowledgeable, have understanding about the factors that cause/impact on mental health in learning disability clientele and interventions.
- Experience of developing relationships with a wide variety of people and organisations
- Proven ability to recognise and manage risk.
- Ability to work on own initiative without direct supervision, understanding where clinical input is needed .

- Personal experience of mental health problems and use of Mental Health Services
- Experience of working as a Recovery Support Worker
- Previous experience of working in Health or Social Care settings in paid or voluntary position.
- Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of: a) Awareness of the Mental Health Act and its use in practice or relevant legislation that pertains to Learning disabilities b) equivalent Health or Social Care legislation appropriate to service area
