Job summary
We are hoping to recruit a locum palliative care consultant to join our team of consultants at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT). This role is to support the Specialist Palliative Care (SPC) services at Charing Cross Hospital working with a team of consultant colleagues supported by a team of experienced SPC Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and resident doctors. This post is a 7PA post.
This post offers the opportunity to work for ICHNT. There are opportunities for service development, quality improvement, research, ethics roles, education and training which can be guided by the team vision and the interests of the successful applicant.
ICHNT SPC is an advisory and support service providing SPC to patients (including those attending A & E) across Hammersmith Hospital (HH), Charing Cross Hospital (CXH), and St Mary's Hospital (SMH). ICHNT SPC supports one of the largest acute trusts in the country, with a major oncology inpatient and outpatient service, major trauma unit, a large number of intensive care beds, specialist renal and haematology services and cardiac services. There are excellent opportunities for clinical experience and learning.
Main duties of the job
This post will be based at CXH, a teaching hospital with 491 beds. Palliative care works closely with oncology, acute medicine, medicine for the elderly and intensive care.Potential areas for development include increasingin-reachto A and E and ongoing work integrating palliative care in the ICU, as well as the development of an outpatient service.
SPC is well integrated with other departments and specialist teams. One of the roles of palliative care is to support the care of patients with complex medical problems towards the end of life, supporting patients to meet their preferred place of care and death, and helping to relieve the pressure on acute services. SPC champion end of life care across ICHNT and work very closely with the End of Life (EOL) Team (EOL Clinical lead, lead nurse and practice educators). SPC work alongside the treating teams to support decisions on direction of care, advance care planning and promote the use of the universal care plan.

This role entails driving the department vehicle and making deliveries through the hospital as required.
You will work closely with the stores and procurement teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Durham and Darlington CAMHS Eating Disorder Team. This is a role within a diverse team and a service with high demand.
The successful candidates would be expected to work alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team as well as liaise with external agencies such as education and local authority.
The team work across 2 bases; North End House in Durham and The Acley Centre in Newton Aycliffe. There will be an expectation to travel across both and other CAMHS bases.

Main duties of the job
The candidate will be working alongside the MDT in monitoring physical health, regularly facilitating physical observations, including taking bloods. The candidate will have the opportunity to complete venepuncture training if not already trained.

We are seeking some highly motivated and passionate Healthcare Assistant to join the MDT team at Community inpatient unit. The service provides short term rehabilitation and reablement for Services Users who may need to regain their confidence and skills on discharge from hospital or to get over a short-term health exacerbation. Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the Service Lead for Children's Speech and Language Therapy and they will join the other highly specialist speech and language therapists in coordinating care across the borough. They will be able to offer support and specialist opinion appointments for therapists in their specialism.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and creatively within the Children's SLT team, with other health professionals and Tertiary Centres. She / he will be able to lead on new service developments in their field. The post holder will carry out duties as required, as outlined in the Job Description.

We are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join the Acute Medical Unit at Barnsley Hospital.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and flexible individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to become part of our dedicated team. The primary focus of this role is to provide high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care, while ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of care within the ward environment.
The successful candidate will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, undertaking a range of delegated clinical and non-clinical duties in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and agreed standards of practice. This will include providing dignified and respectful personal care, supporting patients with their daily needs and contributing to a positive patient experience.
The post holder will undertake, record and report basic clinical observations and patient test results, contributing to the ongoing assessment and monitoring of patients. The post holder will work under the direction and supervision of an appropriate NMC-registered Nurse, who retains delegated accountability for the duties and responsibilities assigned.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work under the direct supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse/Midwife and will be expected to understand the requirements of their role, working within their scope of practice at all times. They will follow reasonable requests and instructions and undertake duties in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and agreed standards of practice. Duties may include supporting patients as a chaperone and assisting with the safe transfer of patients, equipment and goods between departments.
Following appropriate training, education and competency assessment, the post holder will undertake a range of clinical tasks, ensuring they have the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform these safely and effectively. These may include:
- Undertaking and recording basic clinical observations, including heart rate and other vital signs.
- Performing and recording blood glucose measurements.
- Undertaking urinalysis

- Undertaking 25-point skin assessments

Main duties of the job
The primary duties of the post are to assess and manage patients within the Emergency Department. Support is provided by consultants until midnight daily and by Middle Grades 24/7.

The post is to commence as soon as possible for 12 months. 40 hours per week no on call.
The Fellowship will involve, in addition to the day-to-day PCI, a training in all CTO techniques and all aspect of complex PCI including rotational atherectomy, laser PCI, and intravascular imaging under the guidance of Professor Mohaned Egred. In addition, there will be the opportunity to be involved in structural cardiac interventions, namely mitral valve.
The fellow will be required and expected to undertake research activities and publications, teaching and being involved in academic activities. Papers and publications are an integral part of the post and the fellow is expected to produce multiple manuscripts. In addition, database entry (local, national and international) for cases will also be an essential and important part of activities. There will also be administration commitment and periodic out-patient clinic involvement.

The Imaging Department at Whipps Cross Hospital, Barts Health have an exciting career development opportunity to become a Band 3 Imaging Assistant in our team.
The Imaging Department supports one of the busiest A&Es in the country as well as a broad range of specialties with a CT Colon service, walk-in GP services, dedicated MRI pacemaker imaging service, Dental services and MDT-led Fluoroscopy services. The new hospital planned for Whipps Cross will feature imaging as an essential provider for same day assessment and treatment of patients.
Imaging services across Barts Health are transitioning to a new model of work, recruiting more staff, including Imaging Assistants, to drive the quality of care delivered by Radiography across all sites. Our vision is to support staff to work to the top of their licence, nurturing skills through training and mentorship to realise a workforce that provides outstanding care for our patients now and in the future.
Main duties of the job
As a member of our busy and dynamic department your central role would be to provide the highest quality care for patients referred to our service. The post holder will work closely with Radiographers and clinical staff of all grades in the safe, prompt and effective imaging of in patients and outpatients, observing local and national guidelines.
The post holder will be required to rotate through CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Fluoroscopy and General X-Ray. They will participate in the delivery of a 24/7, 365 service and participate in the extended 7-day service in MRI.
Working under the trained Radiographer's supervision the post holder will have a key role in preparing patients for their examinations in Imaging. The post holder will schedule work for the Imaging department. The post holder will liaise with portering staff to ensure that the patients are transported safely and appropriately to and from the Imaging department. In addition, you would provide clerical and admin support.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for a salaried GP colleague who is passionate about providing high quality care for patients. Previous experience working as a duty doctor would be preferred, and experience of using askmyGP would be useful but not essential.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
About us
Overview of our organisation
We have a skilled and experienced team comprising of 3 GP Partners, 7 GPs, 3 Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioner, Clinical Care Co-ordinating team and an excellent nursing team. We are also supported by Musculoskeletal Practitioners and a Mental Health Practitioner. As well as the existing team we are a training practice for GP speciality trainees and so have GP Registrars working with us from the Lincoln scheme and also host Medical Students from Lincoln Medical School. Alongside our clinical team we have a highly motivated and competent Medicines Management, Reception/ Administration and Dispensary teams.
Our GP team is a mix of ages, gender and personalities which adds to the character of our team and practice. We treat all patients and staff with dignity, independence, respect and honesty in an environment that is accessible, safe and friendly. We continually receive excellent feedback from GP speciality trainees, medical students and locums about how friendly our whole practice team is.
Our practice area is close to the Notts/Lincs border, near to the A1 and just over an hour away from London by train.
We have excellent local grammar and primary/secondary schools.
Housing costs in this area are very reasonable!
