Job summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Administrator who is passionate about supporting our Oliver McGowan Training Team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team, ensuring that efficient and effective administration support is given to the teams, including the collection and reporting of accurate training attendance.
This role require someone who is multi-skilled, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skill set (in particular Excel). Previous NHS experience in a mental health or social care environment would be highly regarded but not essential.
Main duties of the job
To be considered for this role you will be dynamic, positive, possess strong organisational and planning skills, and have the ability to effectively support the team as required.
We are looking for a reliable self-starter, who can take the initiative and be assertive in anticipating the needs of the teams. You should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You should have good verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility and confidence in the use of Excel along with attention to details is essential.
Some of the core tasks in these roles will be:
- Experienced in managing bookings or follow up from training sessions
- Experienced in maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets accurately, ensuring administrative data is kept up to date and well organised.
- To maintain and submit key performance data within strict timelines
- To minute Business/Team Meetings

- General administrative functions

We are recruiting for a Clinical Radiology Department Assistants (RDA) who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post is based at the Lister Hospital and will include a rotation to all sites within the Trust (except Mount Vernon).
Each day can be different, and this is an ideal opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic person to enter the healthcare service.
All mandatory training will be provided and there will be opportunities to broaden your skills through in-house training.
The department house state of the art CT scanners, 2 3T and a 1.5T MR scanners, 16 ultrasound rooms, fluoroscopy, dexa, nuclear medicine, angiography and general radiology units.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will prepare treatment areas at the beginning of clinical imaging sessions and to prepare equipment relevant to the examination being undertaken.
You will be supporting radiographic staff in a range of diagnostic procedures and examinations. Patients may present with conditions that may include the unconscious, uncooperative, incompetent or may have mental and physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will assist in special investigations and intervention procedures. To perform patient monitoring and have a working knowledge of specialised equipment.
You will explain examination procedures to the patient and give reassurance.
You'll also assist consultant radiologists during specialised procedures which involve preparation of sterile trolleys using aseptic techniques, specimen slide preparation and accurate completion of documentation.

The UTC operates 08:00 -- 20:00 hours, 365 days a year, offering treatment for both minor injury and minor illness to adults and children. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of dynamic cardiac specialist nurses. You will have experience in cardiology with an interest in heart failure to ensure patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within Cardiology, focussing mainly on the assessment and treatment of inpatients and in the heart failure clinics to ensure optimisation of medication and arrange appropriate cardiology tests and follow up.
In this role you will support a new way of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient focused service, and will ensure the safe referral and discharge of patients. The cardiology department compromises of 2 Cath Labs and a radial lounge. We do a variety of procedures such as coronary angiography, PCIs, providing 24/7 PPCI cover, pacemakers, cardioversions, stress echocardiograms, trans-oesophageal echo's and complex imaging. There is a 22 bedded acute cardiac unit.

Main duties of the job
You will be a recognised expert in Cardiology Nursing , responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes and undertaking specialist nursing procedures
Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff. This includes the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and students responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care.

As a result of maternity leave a temporary exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic Team at QEQM.
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly experienced, friendly team of a Band 7 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, Band 6 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and also rotational band 5s, Band 4s and support workers. A good range of Band 5 rotations is essential. The post holder will be expected to provide regular post graduate training within their clinical specialty and work alongside Band 7s to complete some departmental managerial duties.

Main duties of the job
Band 6 Physiotherapists work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. - To manage daily a clinical specialist caseload within each of these rotationsand be responsible for the assessment, formulation and treatments and to give highly specialised therapy advice to members of the MDT.
- To deputise for Team Leader on clinical and managerial issues within the team
- To be actively involved with training within the Department

A Personal Assistant is required to provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Care Group Senior Management Team within the Rotherham Care Group. This will be an exciting opportunity time to work alongside the current Personal Assistants, providing additional support to the Team.

The post holder will be proactive in organising the full range of administrative/secretarial support to the Care Group Senior Management Team.

Job summary
To provide expert assistance to the Consultant and Registrar staff in the provision of a highly quality, patient centred service on Ward 34 NASU JCUH and Ward 41 UHNT. The post holder is expected to participate in all aspects of the patient pathway as appropriate and will be expected to perform delegated duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge. They are also expected to act under their own initiative based on their training and current national and local guidelines.
The Physician Associate role works alongside the medical team. You will assess and examine patients, present them, initiate and interpret investigations, and recommended treatment. You will liaise with other professionals and specialities as required and complete necessary documentation relating to their patients. A designated Consultant or Registrar will supervise them and will also have individual mentors to oversee their career development.
This post work across Neurology and Stroke, under both directorates as part of Ward 34 NASU in particular with some travel to Ward 41 UHNT.
The physician associate will be expected to maintain a generalist medical knowledge while also developing expert clinical knowledge of cerebrovascular disease. This provision will initially be predominately work in inpatient wards with a regular TIA outpatient clinic involvement.
Main duties of the job
The Physician Associate supports a team of Consultants, Registrars, nursing staff and therapists of the Neurology and Stroke Unit (NASU). They will be trained to assess and examine patients, present them, initiate and interpret investigations, and recommend treatment.
The role involves being a vital member of the NASU team, helping with assessment, diagnosis and management of neurology and stroke patients on the NASU unit, Ward 34.
Supervision will be under the direction and guidance of Consultants. The post holder will play an important part in supporting medical staff on ward 34.
This involves supporting the on-call consultant with daily ward rounds, neurology and stroke referrals and assisting with hyperacute stroke management. This includes assisting in assessing and help treat patients with reperfusion treatment like thrombolysis
There is a requirement to recognise and understand the importance of the multi-disciplinary team in management of patients for rehabilitation, discharge home or palliative care as needed.
The post-holder will be accountable for ensuring that patient care is of a high standard at all times. The post holder will develop expertise in managing at stroke follow up under consultant supervision.
The post-holder will be supervised by consultants with an identified educational supervisor for career development.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Science Support Worker to join the team in Central Specimen Reception across the STH pathology departments. The job involves a range of tasks that support the Pathology laboratory in receipting and processing of patient samples so that results can be generated and released to clinicians to aid diagnosis.
The Pathology departments at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust are working collaboratively to develop a joint service with services being delivered from all hospital sites. This will require cross site working, with the potential to work at any site as needed.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the reception/data entry and processing of clinical specimens, these may include a range of swabs, body fluids, and blood samples.
The department operates a 24/7 shift system, as such there is a requirement to fully participate in the rota that supports this.
We are looking for someone who is able to communicate well with staff in the department and service users as well a plan and use their own time economically and effectively. The successful candidate should have a high degree of motivation for the role. Although knowledge of laboratory areas is desirable, it is not essential.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate NMC or HCPC registrant to join the Professional Education and Development Team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Senior Practice Learning Facilitator (PLF). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting learners, registered staff and clinical teams across one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. Main duties of the job

Job summary
The post holder carries responsibility for the assessment of care needs and their development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for Adults and Older Adults with mental health problems that are referred to the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. Bud Flanagan East Ward is a 16 bedded unit caring for patients with Leukaemia, Myeloma and Lymphoma throughout their treatment pathway. On the ward, we undertake a variety of bone marrow transplants including sibling, unrelated and cord donors. Our partner ward, Bud Flanagan West, cares mainly for patients undergoing autologous transplants and also manages our Ambulatory Inpatient Service.

Job summary

South London Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) is looking for an enthusiastic Research Nurse/Midwife /AHP with extensive commercial research experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an eye for detail.
The post holder will play a key role in ensuring that any research undertaken within the health and care settings safeguards the wellbeing of the patients and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006.
The post holder will facilitate the recruitment of patients into high-quality clinical studies, within Secondary care, Primary care & Wider Care settings. They will work flexibly across sites and disciplines to ensure the success of the clinical research projects they are assigned, within the RDN South London geography.
The staff will play a key role in identifying opportunities to broaden, coordinate and manage a portfolio of clinical research studies (commercial and non-commercial). They will need excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate collaborative working relationships across a breadth of stakeholders and act as an RDN ambassador.

The focus for this role is to lead the delivery of National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network (RDN) Portfolio studies across varied health and care settings. About us
From October 2024, the NIHR Clinical Research Network has changed to become the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN). The RDN will build on the successes of the CRN in supporting the effective and efficient initiation and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England for the benefit of patients, the health and care system and the economy.
The RDN will support:
- Clinical trials and other well-designed health and social care research studies (Including studies that are delivered outside of an NHS setting)
- Public health studies that require the recruitment of individuals within NHS settings (that is, acute, ambulance, mental health, community or primary care) or an episode of care which involves contact with the NHS.
The RDN is a new organisation with new structures, governance and ways of working. Study delivery in England will be supported through 12 NIHR Regional Research Delivery Networks (RRDNs). Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a four-session Salaried GP to join our experienced clinical team. This post is supported by the 2026/27 Practice-level GP Reimbursement Scheme.
We are a friendly practice on the outskirts of Sheffield, serving a mixed urban and rural community of over 8,700 patients.
We are flexible on working days for the right candidate, although we would particularly welcome applicants who are able to work on Fridays. Each session consists of 12 consultations, comprising a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments. There is no requirement to contribute to on-calls or duty doctor commitments, and 15-minute consultations can be facilitated on request.
We have a multidisciplinary clinical team, including an ANP and paramedic team. Home visits are occasional, with the majority undertaken by our paramedics. GPs contribute to the remaining visits as required.
This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, with the option to extend subject to the national funding continuing into future years.
The position is eligible for the NHS Pension Scheme. Salary is dependent on skills and experience, with 6 weeks' annual leave pro rata.

We have a full-time (37.5 hours/week) role available for enthusiastic Ophthalmic Science Practitioners to join our expanding Ophthalmic Imaging team within the Department of Ophthalmology at Queen's Medical Centre campus.
If you are an enthusiastic, highly motivated clinician, with good communication skills and the ability to be adaptable to the changing needs of the department, this role is an opportunity to work in a large teaching hospital with a varied caseload which will include participation in a range of service provision.
The successful candidate will need to hold a BSc in Photography; BSc Ophthalmic Imaging or have equivalent clinical experience to enable delivery of the requirements of the role.
The post holder will be required to work various shifts to support the needs of the service. This includes working weekdays, weekends, bank holiday days and varying hours with the earliest start time at 7.00am and the latest finish at 8.00pm. Job summary
The post-holder will hold a science related degree prior to graduating from an accredited Physician Associate training programme. The post-holder will have a minimum of two years' experience in Emergency Medicine. He/she will work under the direction of the consultant Emergency Physicians, working collaboratively with other members of the clinical team within the Trust's policies and clinical guidelines. The job will principally be directed towards clinical and medical support in all areas of the Emergency Department.
The post-holder is expected:
- To manage patients in the Emergency Department under the supervision of the ED consultant
- To manage patients in all areas of the Emergency Department within their scope of practice
- To exercise a high degree of personal and professional autonomy when assessing, managing, and planning care for a variety of emergency presentations
- To develop extensive specialist knowledge and experience in emergency medicine
- To contribute to achieving and maintaining targets and standards for treatment in Emergency Medicine
- To support our work related to The Royal College of Emergency Medicine audit and quality improvement
Main duties of the job
To manage a caseload of emergency department patients, exercising a high level of professional judgment and expertise when delivering clinical care, under the supervision of the Emergency Department Consultant. This will include taking medical histories, undertaking physical examinations, diagnosing, forming management plans, and explaining conditions during consultations.
- To contribute to supporting colleagues to meet the national performance targets and indicators.
- To communicate with GPs and other health professionals the outcome of ED attendances in a timely fashion
- To contribute to the development of efficient pathways of care in accordance with current best practice and national guidelines
- To fully document all aspects of patient care, and complete all required paperwork.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognise early stages of health issues
- Establish differential diagnoses, making appropriate treatment plans and initiating emergency treatment where necessary
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding their health and wellbeing
- Refer and converse with the appropriate specialist teams in regard to patient management.
- Perform diagnostic, therapeutic procedures and clinical skills relevant to Emergency Medicine under appropriate supervision.
- Work to deliver national guidelines and objectives for emergency medicine
About us
Emergency Medicine sits within the Acute and General Medicine Directorate at the Trust, which also includes the following services: Acute Assessment Unit, Ageing and Health, Respiratory Medicine and Sleep Services, Clinical Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Stroke Services.
The Emergency Department is located on the St Thomas' Hospital site, delivering a 24/7 service of high quality care to a variety of patient groups. Emergency medicine is a consultant led and delivered service, supported by training and non-training StR, ST1/2, Clinical Fellows and FY1/2 grade doctors. There is an active multi-disciplinary teaching and education programme, monthly morbidity/mortality and clinical effectiveness meetings, which all staff are encouraged to attend.
To support the existing staff, we have decide to expand our well-developed Physician Associate Team, to support the medical and nursing teams.
