Main duties of the job
Our Trust is looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers with a minimum of 12 months experience in a Hospital, Residential or Care home setting, who are able to work effectively in a variety of different Adult wards and departmentsand as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be committed to demonstrating our Trusts ICARE values.
After a qualifying period, our Bank Healthcare Support Worker role offers a variety of shifts including early, late, long day and night shifts with flexibility to support a positive and flexible work life balance.

We have 4 Children's theatres and 2 Obstetric theatres at the Royal London Hospital covering a diverse range of both elective and emergency work in a variety of specialties including major trauma, via the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). As part of your development you will have the opportunity to work in our adult inpatient theatres on a three month rotation. During the rotation you will gain invaluable trauma experiences and increase your knowledge and skills. As an Anaesthetic Nurse/ODP in children's and obstetrics theatres you will also be rotated to work in our paediatric recovery areas, allowing our department to work together as one team.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated DSN to join the innovative Barts Health NHS Trust Young Adults Diabetes Service. This mobile service will also comprise a Dietician, Clinical psychologist, Youth Worker, Social Prescriber, and administrator.
This exciting new post has been developed to improve diabetes care and outcomes for young people (age 16-25) with diabetes across North East London. The post holder will support young adults who may be struggling with a range of difficulties related to living with diabetes, as they make the transition to adult services. The work will be with young adults living with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
The post holder will have scope to develop the service, with the support of more senior colleagues and in collaboration with service users.The post will have a base at Mile End Hospital, but the job will involve working across all of the Barts Health sites (Whipps Cross Hospital, Newham University Hospital, the Royal London Hospital, and St Barts Hospital), and ensuring that standardised, high-quality care is delivered across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
All normal duties and responsibilities with a GP working within primary care, including:

Training: The Radiology Department within the Bradford Trust forms part of the West Yorkshire Training Academy in Radiology with rotations of Specialist Registrars.
Trainees on the Scheme usually spend one or two six month periods in Bradford as part of their "basic training" and there are options for both General and Specialist attachments in Bradford during their "higher training".
There are currently 20 trainees appointed to Bradford at any one time. Radiologists are expected to mentor as Clinical Supervisors and are encouraged to take on Educational Trainees following appropriate training. There is a responsibility to undertake appropriate teaching of health care professionals within the Trust. Undergraduate medical students from Leeds have clinical attachments within the Trust and Radiology Department.
