Are you looking for an interesting and rewarding job with good work-life balance in a stunningly beautiful rural location within easy reach of the West Midlands conurbation? If so, we would like to welcome you to join our friendly, supportive team.
You will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time as, having recently being awarded more than £300 million government funding, The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is about to undergo a major transformation as part of our sustainable services programme. Most importantly, you will be part of a team delivering change that improves the experience of the NHS workforce and supporting better outcomes for patients and communities nationwide.
About us
NHS England has a wide range of statutory functions, responsibilities and regulatory powers. These are focused on supporting the wider NHS to deliver high quality care, as well as doing those things that are best done once for the whole NHS.
Our staff bring expertise across clinical, operational, commissioning, technology, data science, cyber security, software engineering, education, and commercial specialisms -- enabling us to design and deliver high-quality NHS services.
In March 2025, the Government announced that NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care will increasingly merge functions, ultimately leading to NHS England being fully integrated into the department.
If you currently work within the NHS and if successful at interview, we will initiate an Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR).This retrieves key data from your current or previous NHS employer to support onboarding, including competency status, Continuous Service Dates (CSD), and annual leave entitlement. You may opt out at any stage of the process.
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in our offices.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
We cannot offer visa sponsorship for any vacancies.

Job description
Job responsibilities
In the UK health sector, most providers are only offering half the solution. Some deliver primary and urgent NHS care. Others build healthcare properties. OneMedical Group (OMG) is the only organisation in the UK that does both under one roof. For over 20 years, we've been innovating UK healthcare.
As a family business, our founders remain at the heart of our day-to-day work, instilling an agile, human-first culture built on speed, trust, and adaptability. Because we design, build, and manage healthcare spaces and deliver high-quality frontline NHS care, we bring a level of value to NHS commissioners and healthcare partners that no one else can match.
We are on an ambitious growth journey and we're looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to open doors, shape high-value partnerships, and drive our expansion. This is a high-impact business development and strategic growth position.
We're looking for a genuine new business winner who creates opportunities rather than waits for them. You'll become one of the key faces of OneMedical Group, opening doors and building multi-million-pound commercial partnerships across the UK.
As a key growth engine for the business, you will:
- Drive Regional Strategy: Build and execute an ambitious business development strategy to target commissioners, healthcare partners, and strategic stakeholders.
