Job summary
The Central Mental Health Law Team is recruiting for two Mental Health Act (MHA) Co-ordinator posts:
- 1 x Full-Time MHA Co-ordinator - 37.5 hours per week

The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Mental Health Act 1983, supporting the delivery of high-quality MHA administration services, and providing advice and guidance to clinical teams on statutory processes and requirements.
Applicants should have experience of working within Mental Health Act administration services or legal related work, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- To support the MDTs to increase compliance with the MHA by reviewing data to identify areas where good practice measures are required.
- To support members of the frontline clinical teams to help identify MHA issues and address potential errors before they occur, and where necessary, attend clinical reviews and relevant meetings
- To provide administrative support to the MHL Law Team/Tribunal Team and the Associate Hospital Managers Hearing Team.
- To deputise for the Senior MHA Coordinator when required in their absence
- To organise and facilitate patient hearings
- To meet and maintain Trust standards for the MH Law Team
Main duties of the job

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK as well as substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. We work closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. Currently, provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.

Job summary
We are accepting those with core professions from: mental health nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers. (You will require an up-to date registration).
We are a supported team currently made up of clinical psychology, systemic family therapy, cognitive behavioural therapists, mental health practitioners, support workers and a vocational worker, all of whom are from a variety of professional backgrounds. Our team offers clients and their families evidence-based interventions such as psychoeducational work, individual CBT and family therapeutic work aimed at helping our young people and their families to manage their unusual experiences. EIT practitioners work with small manageable caseloads and hold an integrated approach to the care we provide.
Phone calls, teams calls or visits to meet the team and manager are welcomed and encouraged.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the care coordination of a caseload of people, working alongside the current MDT to deliver NICE concordant care.
When you join us, you can expect a thorough induction and ongoing support.
You'll be joining a team with extensive experience of working in a psychosis pathway, and we are passionate about helping our growing team to develop their skills and understanding in this area through ongoing CPD . You will be joining a supportive environment, with regular clinical team meetings, reflective practice and opportunities to work with the wider MDT, as well as working independently.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a good interpersonal skill, is flexible in their approach, and is enthusiastic about working with young people and young adults, to help live the lives they want to.

Main duties of the job

The Team Leader for the Children's Community Nursing Team (CCNT) is responsible for providing strategic, clinical, educational and operational leadership to the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, child and family-centred care. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
- To support the triage and assessments of individuals who referred into the service alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team that includes community mental health nurses, psychology, consultant psychiatrist, occupational therapists, peer support (lived experience) workers, health care support workers and housing and financial advisors.
- You will be responsible for undertaking assessments individually, alongside the wider team and/or alongside our partners in order to establish the person's goals, needs, risks and strengths to generate a formulation based plan of care with the individual and their support network

The Assistant Psychologist will work primarily within the Community Eating Difficulties Service (CEDS), while also providing psychological support to the ARFID pathway.

As a Practice Nurse within the E4 PCN Enhanced Access Service, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality and responsive nursing care to our diverse patient population.

The Practice Nurse will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients accessing the E4 PCN Enhanced Access Service. The Practice Nurse will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients accessing the E4 PCN Enhanced Access Service. The postholder will work as an autonomous and accountable practitioner, providing assessment, treatment, monitoring, health promotion and management of patients across a broad range of clinical presentations.
The role is particularly suited to an experienced Practice Nurse who is confident working independently and able to manage a clinical workload without direct nursing supervision. The postholder will be expected to exercise sound clinical judgement, recognise and manage clinical risk, work within their scope of professional competence and escalate appropriately when a patient's needs exceed their level of expertise or the resources available within the service.
The Enhanced Access Service provides additional primary care appointments during evenings and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly during these periods, with the majority of nursing activity delivered on Saturdays.
The Practice Nurse will work collaboratively with GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, administrative teams and other members of the multidisciplinary team across the PCN and its member practices. The postholder will contribute to the PCN's commitment to providing safe, accessible, responsive and consistently high-quality patient care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
- Provide a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to patients accessing the Enhanced Access Service.
- Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments, identifying physical, psychological and social needs and developing appropriate plans of care.

To provide support to the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT).

Robust training and regular competency reviews will ensure care is provided safely and in line with allpolicies and guidelines.
Main duties of the job

Applicants must be willing to work flexibly across both night and day duties as we provide a service that runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our night duty is on a waking basis and is paid accordingly.
An ideal applicant will have significant experience in looking after children and preferably children with additional or complex needs. You must be willing and enthusiastic to learn new skills. You will be joining a growing team of Support Workers and will be given every opportunity to learn and be supported in gaining experience and knowledge in caring for the children we are commissioned to provide care for.

Community Staff Nurse: Permanent (37.5 hours)
Our work in Core Neighbourhoods is at the very heart of Stockport Neighbourhood Care. Services will be offered seven days a week to help people remain healthy and build independence. The aim being that the "right care is delivered to the right people at the right time".We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients' homes as well as residential homes caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will work with the Community Nurses and other multidisciplinary teams with the support of Mastercall GPs, to provide a first class service to the residents of Stockport.
We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients' homes as well as residential homes caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.
The post holder should have good organisational and assessment skills be flexible and willing to cover the service between 08:00 - 18:00 over a 7 day period.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants are ableto travel independently and efficiently across multiple community sites to meet the operational requirements of the role
